Tensions escalated after demonstrators attempted to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicles from leaving detention center. Federal agents deployed pepper spray and pepper balls to disperse crowds during confrontations outside facility. Several protesters were detained during chaotic scenes as clashes continued around detention center.
