UK: Trump’s Scotland Golf Course Covered In Red Paint And ‘Gaza Is Not 4 Sale’ Graffiti.

Glasgow, United Kingdom - March 08, 2026 A Palestine Action protest at Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf course saw the property covered in red paint and marked with the words “GAZA IS NOT 4 SALE.” The protest took place on 8 March 2025, before Palestine Action was proscribed. The action involved spray-painting the message in large letters on the golf course, digging holes, spraying weedkiller across the lawn and covering the clubhouse in red paint. The video was filmed by Hassan Ghani. The protest was a response to Trump’s plans to take over Gaza and ethnically cleanse the population. Seven protesters have been charged with damaging the golf course and face potential terrorist sentencing, despite not being charged with terrorism offences. Prosecutors will seek to establish a “terror connection” that could allow terrorist sentences to be imposed. Questions have been raised over representations made by Trump to the British and Scottish governments. Trump and Keir Starmer spoke twice after the Turnberry action, on 10 March and 30 March 2025. On 13 March 2025, Trump’s son Eric Trump flew into Scotland to meet John Swinney. Documents released under FOIA show the protest at the Trump Turnberry property was discussed during the meeting. Trump later described those involved as “terrorists” and said he hoped they would be “treated harshly.” In June 2026, four Palestine Action protesters convicted of criminal damage were sentenced as terrorists. This was the first time in British history that protesters had been sentenced as terrorists without being convicted of terror charges. Palestine Action co-founder Huda Ammori has been granted permission to challenge the UK ban on the group in the Supreme Court, with the case scheduled for November 2026.
