MILITARY PERSONNEL INSIDE TCG SANCAKTAR KOCAELI, TÜRKİYE - AUG. 23: Türkiye's TCG Sancaktar drew visitors at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland in Kocaeli on Sunday, Aug. 23. Commissioned into the Turkish Naval Forces in 2018, the 139-meter-long amphibious landing ship can carry 20 main battle tanks and 27 Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicles (ZAHA). In addition to military operations, the vessel can serve as a hospital, logistics support and evacuation ship during disasters and emergencies. Visitors toured the vessel during the event, viewing tanks and ZAHA vehicles and meeting military personnel.
