Footage released by the ministry showed Turkish Coast Guard teams reaching the aircraft on the surface of the sea and rescuing the two people on board. The aircraft took off from Batumi, Georgia, for Ordu-Giresun Airport in northern Türkiye, but the crew was forced to make an emergency landing in the sea off Rize’s Pazar district. Turkish Coast Guard teams swiftly deployed to the coordinates upon receiving the emergency distress alert, rescuing two people from the sea. First responders transferred the two survivors to Kackar State Hospital for precautionary medical evaluation.
