Planted across around 1,000 decares, the crop adds a distinct visual appeal to the region as it flowers ahead of sunflower season. The bright yellow fields have also drawn the attention of photographers, while farmers increasingly prefer canola as an alternative crop used in vegetable oil production. The fields blanketed in yellow were also captured by drone.
