The exercise showcased Spain's amphibious warfare capabilities through a coordinated display involving naval vessels, helicopters, armored vehicles and aircraft. The demonstration formed part of a week-long Armed Forces Day program in Vigo, which also featured naval exhibitions, military concerts and equipment displays. Armed Forces Day is held annually in Spain to recognize the role of the military and strengthen ties between the armed forces and society. This year's celebrations are taking place in Vigo from May 26 to May 31. Around 3,700 personnel from Spain's armed forces and security services are taking part in this year's celebrations, held under the slogan "Todos unidos defendemos Espana" (All united we defend Spain). Observed annually since 1978, Armed Forces Day aims to recognize the role of the military and strengthen ties between Spain's armed forces and society.
