NEWS OF THE WEEK: Rod Stewart to embark on 'last tour ever' in 2027.

The 81-year-old rocker, who has been on his One Last Time farewell trek since 2024, will bow out of touring next year after more than 60 years on the road. He confirmed that The Final Encore will "most definitely be (his) last" rock 'n' roll tour, however, he will not be retiring from live performances altogether. "Ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation and sadness, I have to announce that next year will be my last tour ever, ever, ever," he said in an Instagram video on Monday.
