Israel carries out attack on civilian residential area in Gaza in violation of ceasefire.

.DEIR AL-BALAH, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUNE 11, 2026: Israeli army, by violating the ceasefire once again, carried out an airstrike on a civilian residential area in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. After the attack, intense flames and smoke rose from the area, and many buildings in the area were reduced to rubble due to the attack. The Israeli attack left Palestinians, who were already displaced by previous attacks, homeless once again with nowhere to go. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 981 people have been killed and 3,104 injured by Israeli army fire despite a ceasefire in place since Oct. 10, 2025. Since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, about 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 others wounded, while widespread destruction has affected 90% of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure.
