India: Hundreds of Muslims in Srinagar, India gather for Eid al-Adha prayers.

CHILDREN RIDING ON SMALL FAIRGROUND RIDES SRINAGAR, INDIA - MAY 27, 2026: Muslims in Srinagar, in India-administered Jammu and Kashmir, performed Eid al-Adha prayers on Wednesday, May 27. After the prayers, children enjoyed an amusement area set up for Eid celebrations nearby. The Eid al-Adha holiday commemorates the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son at God’s command, before a ram was sent as a divine substitute at the last moment.
