Zhanjiang, China - July 02, 2026 This is the terrifying moment that Typhoon Bavi brought a menacing coastal scene to Zhanjiang, as dark clouds covered the sea, lightning flashed across the sky, and powerful waves churned under fierce winds. On July 3, 2026, in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, the video captured the frightening scene as Typhoon Bavi approached the coastal city. Thick storm clouds stretched across the sea, while flashes of lightning lit up the darkened sky. Strong winds swept over the water, and the waves rolled violently toward the shore, creating an intense and alarming view of the approaching weather system. The typhoon had developed a massive cloud system, with a diameter of more than 1,000 kilometers. China’s Central Meteorological Observatory expected Bavi to move northwest at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the northeastern coast of Taiwan before moving toward the coastal areas from central Fujian to southern Zhejiang. The video ended with the sea still surging under the storm clouds, while lightning continued to flash over the coast as Typhoon Bavi drew closer.
