Canada: Pro-Palestinian rally in Toronto marks 78th anniversary of Nakba.

Assembling in downtown Toronto while holding banners and Palestinian flags, the demonstrating crowd marched from there to the Consulate General of Israel in Toronto to observe the commemoration. Every year on May 15, Palestinians around the world mark the Nakba—Arabic for "catastrophe"—commemorating the mass expulsion and displacement that accompanied the creation of Israel in 1948.
