During the closed-door meeting held at the Heydar Aliyev Center, the two sides reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen the strategic alliance between Türkiye and Azerbaijan in all areas in line with the Shusha Declaration. Kurtulmus congratulated Gafarova on Azerbaijan taking over the presidency of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation from Indonesia and voiced confidence that the 20th conference would deliver successful outcomes.
