The NBA is changing the All-Star Game… again

The NBA might finally be fixing the All-Star Game, and yet, I'm still not sure it's gonna work

So a report came out today that Adam Silver and the NBA are discussing changing the All-Star Game

format once again and making it a Team USA vs. Team World competition. And look, I think we can

all agree on paper, like yeah, this would be sick, but here's the problem. One, well, there's not

exactly a gold medal on the line here. Two, it wouldn't be embarrassing for Team USA to lose this

unlike losing the Olympics in 04. Also, while guys like Wemby and Giannis have come out and say they'd be down for this

of course they would be. Those are the guys that actually care about the All-Star game

The real question, as you can tell by this quote, is can we get Kevin Durant or James Harden to care

And while some people have been comparing this to like the Four Nations face-off in hockey

Conor McDavid makes as much money as Marvin Bagley. Look, maybe I'm completely wrong here

and all the guys would care and we'd get a great game and everything's awesome, because yeah, who wouldn't want to see this

Part of me just doesn't think the All-Star game is ever truly going to be solvable
