Today we’ll go through how to open a trial paper account, how we’ll access it, and a quick example of a few of the types of trades you’ll be able to place. Learning a new platform and especially a new strategy can be a bit nerve racking when you’re first getting started. ThinkorSwim offers a great solution to that in the form of PaperMoney. It’ll allow us to trade pretty much anything in realtime and get some practical experience without having to put our real money on the line. It’s essentially monopoly money with the real stock market. Today we'll create a new papermoney trial account, open it up, and place a few different trades within the app. This is specifically the PaperMoney version of thinkorswim on the iphone, but will be incredibly similar for android devices.
