Galaxy S25 Edge Hype Is Real - SammyGuru Podcast Episode #33

yep and we're live perfect i'm eating my dinner which is these crackers right here because I

didn't get a chance to eat any before I left the house what's up everybody how's it going how's it going we are live on

both channels and it looks like they both There's a little bit of a delay which is good because I'm still finishing this cracker welcome everybody

episode 33 of the Samuru podcast i am obviously just Jeff Springer i am not Jeff and Tori i'm not two people uh Tori

is not here tonight he well he may be here towards the tail end i don't know he's chaperoning the prom for the high

school that he teaches at a lot of you guys may know Tori is a ma math teacher at a local high school here the Phoenix

area and it's prom time so Toriier agreed to chaperon why he volunteered to

do that i have no idea i couldn't tell you uh we also got Colin of course in

the house check out on YouTube our uh YouTube shorts producer here at Sammy

Grew as well now making out the YouTube shorts content how's it going Colin

doing good doing good got some new stuff coming up on the new channel sponsor oh

yeah colin just got his Leica Sim uh we can talk a little bit about that too larry is testing out one of the other

prepaid companies that sent me something mobile X i really like them too they're actually pretty interesting we can talk

about them maybe a little bit later i've been using them too they run on the Verizon network though not T-Mobile

I have the chat i've got this other Sarcasmo we got Larry of course we got

Big we got Dehe we've got a Why is Jeff so cute i don't know that's the question

everybody That's the question everybody's asking i mean if I had a dollar for every time someone asked that

on my channel I would have enough to buy like uh a drink at McDonald's because

they're only a dollar for any soft drink so I would have just been able to purchase it right now king Frost what's

up how are you voodoo how's it going and Jessica in the chat so far and of course

my mother don't want to forget my mother she's here early as always so um today

we're going to focus a little bit on the S25 Edge because we have a lot of news about the S25 Edge and it certainly

looks like the S25 Edge could be coming up next month now I may or may not know

information pertaining to the phone that I can't divulge but I'd say there's a really

good chance that it will come out next month and that if you want one you should be prepared to buy one in April

towards the middle of April would be my recommendation um there's a lot of information about the phone some things

that actually look good that look better than we thought about the phone particularly the durability because a

lot of people are worried about the durability of the phone it looks like maybe it won't you know be a fragile toy

it might actually be pretty nice what's up Paul paul's in the house too the S26

Ultra will bring back the air SPEN Bluetooth that rumor is going around

but I haven't really seen any substantiation of that i've heard that a lot of places i read it on Reddit even

though I don't like Reddit as Colin and I were talking about the other day reddit doesn't like me either they early

in my YouTube career they they banned me like 30 times so I gave up on Reddit yeah it's you're not allowed to share

you well that's very nice they got so many people on here who are huge fans of me tonight i don't like you know these regular influencers people just love

them all the time i just people assume people kind of like my content which is nice but people usually don't just like

me personally hi Jeff's mom everyone say hi to Mrs springer there she is my mother loves me i know that i mean she's

loved me for a while though i do appreciate that she's usually the only one in the chat that loves me so I

appreciate having a couple more people um Colin how was your week though what anything else interesting you got the

Autopro X a little bit of small talk here at the beginning of the bus actually because Tori and I used to do

that uh yeah we'll still do the trivia tonight uh not in myrivia not in my car

anymore yeah yeah no you you had some issues with it so we can talk about it for a

minute i used to do a lot of small talk at the beginning of the audio only podcast we we should get back to doing that before we jump into the the content

not just running down the chat but little talk so the autoprox uh small Yeah so I have icons

on the screen actually I think also your Yeah your car I saw it i saw it on X i I

clicked on your YouTube video i watched it um your a your display in your car

must be a little smaller than the one I have in the audio how big is it eight inches I think oh okay yeah mine's a

little bigger so maybe that's why it's like Yeah you can't get the right and you can't get the right resolution on there either so it's like if you want to

use Dex you have to use the phone as a as a trackpad you're not going to get

you can't even you can't tap some some things um you definitely can't like

open and close apps because you can't get to the corner buttons even if you put it in the like the shrunk down mode so it leaves you a little border it

doesn't it just doesn't they're too small for it to register um I use the

phone as a trackpad in the majority of my use too because I did find it hard to tap the icons but like I told you my

main use case and also I told the people at Mateen this they're like "Why don't you make a video of you gaming or

something too or like working on a spreadsheet?" And I was like "I'm never going to do that that's absolutely insane i would I would never work on a

spreadsheet on my car." Like that's insane i'm not going to do that i'm not going to tell people like

you should go buy this to to do that i mean gaming maybe some people i'm just not a big gamer but YouTube and Netflix

on the car screen like that's really cool and I do like it for that i still have it hooked up because my kids like

watching YouTube on the car screen and on our Rivian it can already do it on the Rivian the Rivian you can watch

YouTube natively so sometimes they ask me like "Why can't the Audi do it?" And so now it can and so I was like "Magic

look the Audi now can do YouTube." And they're impressed with that so it it works okay if you're somebody that if you're somebody that's going to like

stop somewhere and want to be able to do that on your screen it's fine for that but I I get in I get in and go and then

I get there and get out so like there's no point i can't use it with while I'm

you know I can't like even do Apple Music or anything while I'm driving because it's just too hard to navigate so like if I want to use it I have to be

stopped and I have to and I have to exit out of one mode and go to the other

i would almost say if you're going to use it for anything other than video apps on your car screen it's not that

useful that's why I took that approach in my integration because I told them like I don't want to lie to people and be like "Oh well you could do all of

your work on your car screen now." And at that point a laptop or a tablet or something

there's no Yeah and stuff like that then using your phone as a tablet and your car as a

screen when there's no laptops yeah I have I have like a I have a 5G

connected Surface Pro that I use for like on the- go like editing of like work stuff i would never use my car

screen for that yeah most people probably have like a onthe-go kind of like laptop or even if they just have an

iPad that's got 5G obviously then Yeah oh look at this joe I'll come back to your question but Sarcasmo says we're on

opposite sides and it's screwing him up i noticed that too in the beginning that usually I'm on the left

and Colin switched it up there we go joins first i was a little Yeah I was a

little Usually Colin joins later i was a little confused too i was like what the hell is going on is this even the Sammy

Guru podcast let's go back to Joe's question do you think the Tab S10 1 UI7

beta will come I assume you mean to the US before the official release and I don't think so i'll be honest with you

coming in the next few weeks it's It's been out for in Korea for two weeks and it comes out instable in two weeks to

the US why would they drop the beta now obviously they just never planned are we getting Are we getting the Tab one April

10th or is it later well the US one I I They didn't say the Tab one was delayed

after this but Well no no they said um they said roll they said it's coming to the the S24 S24 and the Zold and the Z

Flip yeah yeah and then it's other devices later I think yeah it'll probably be on May it's probably going

to be closer to May i bet it's like April 30th for the tablet but sometimes Samsung's definition of later is either

way far down the road or a couple days later so it would be cool if it was the next week like April 17th everyone would

be okay with that they just need to have it ready to go so they can just this week we're getting this next week we're getting that not like okay you're going

to get it this week and then next month you're going to get it yeah it's too bad i really want the Tab S10 Ultra beta

because it's really the only device I use a lot that I don't have it on anymore it's actually right here in front of me i usually have it right in

front of me in front of the bottom of my monitor for like other like socials and stuff it's the one device I use a lot

Samsung device that doesn't have 1 UI7 oh except for of course my ZFold special

edition but no one cares about that because well only like five people bought this phone so it's probably going

to get 1 UI7 who knows when it'll get 1 UI7 but shouldn't this phone get it soon

because this was made in Korea this the main release was in Korea korea gets everything first so shouldn't my phone

already have 1 UI7 on April 7th i feel like it should get it on April 7th yeah

I feel like unless they do something with the carriers or something weird like that where you're not on pissed if my special edition doesn't get doesn't

get stable 1 UI7 until like June or something i want to be like "Damn I paid three grand to import this and I got to

wait two months to get 1 UI7 it's not very nice." Well we fixed that issue sarcasm i hope it made me happier i'm

happier now we fixed it you got an S25 Plus it's a great phone honestly that's the phone a lot of people should buy

because if you don't use the S Pen and you don't really care about those extra couple

cameras the battery life on the S25 Plus is great and the screen is still great

um there's a couple little things though i mean I don't know there's a couple of

things I still would miss from the Ultra because the S25 Plus doesn't have the um

the anti-reflective coating like the Ultra so you mentioned that though you mentioned

that though if you put one of those uh screen protectors on there the Samsung ones it's it's like the same like I like

I have that on my regular S25 still and you can see Colin you know I

hate screen protectors that's why I'm I mean it kind You can see the reflection there let me Here's a glass but if you

like screen protectors there you go colin says it's not a big deal but I can tell you

trying to get the same phone in the same same light there's the iPhone and then there's the Yeah it's no it's no joke

for real though because I mean I I did a video yesterday i finally had planned to

make this video for a while i did S23 Ultra versus S24 Ultra versus S25 Ultra

all the One UI7 differences i don't know when I'll release that probably maybe Monday but the S23 Ultra which doesn't

have the anti-reflective screen at all it is way noticeable under my bright

studio lights like it was blinding me the entire time the reflection from the S23 Ultra it was distracting so and I

mean even if you get like a reflection on this it's way more the Ultra all the time like you get used to this you don't

really notice until you use a different phone it's like what the hell is wrong with this phone yeah i highly doubt

they're going to get the baby one common question I always get too is can you like So I have a glass screen checker on

my Ultra because I got sent one for review so it's just still on there so I don't have the anti-reflective you know

having the anti-reflective screen if you put glass over it cancels that out people are always asking me can you put

the can you put the Samsung screen protector over a glass screen protector to get that i'm like probably but I

don't that that sounds like a terrible idea for the touch sensitivity i don't think that's going to work out well for

you i had the same thing with the with the Fold people would always I would do the installation videos on the Fold be like "Oh can I put the screen protector

the new screen protector over the factory one?" Oh that's gonna it'll break the

screen and I have the Zfold SE but unfortunately I don't think Samsung cares too much about us when it in the

grand scheme of just pushing 1 UI7 to the SE floss and I are both very nice

YouTubers and all but we're we're a very small subset of people in the US particularly who have that phone so

that's not going to make them drop the the 1 UI7 release and I agree Verish i mean the SE doesn't have a lot of units

but it did sell really well in Korea and Korea is usually where everything drops

first so I was kind of hoping maybe now question about that because I've never used a phone from another country i know

Samsung they have the the carrier software right like different carrier versions how do they do that with a

phone that was never sold in the US like what do you get here to make that phone work on US carriers

i guess there's kind of like an international version like so like if you buy a Verizon phone you have the Verizon CSC if you buy a T-Mobile phone

you have the T-Mobile CSC how does that you know and if you switch to Verizon from T-Mobile it changes that it

downloads the new software so if you buy a phone that was only sold in Korea and they don't have those carriers right there is there like an international

version that just kind of gives you base features you can change the CSC if you want but it's usually not a good idea

because usually what happens is you just end up missing some of those features that are specific actually I've changed

it for betas like back in the day when you had to flash them with Odin yeah like when when AT&T would come out with the betas or they would leak the

firmware i did that before but like how if you have the SE though and it was

only still on Korea what what carrier software does it use it's unlocked i

mean it's an unlocked one just like So it's just an unlocked just Okay yeah yeah just downloads whatever it downloads whatever it needs just like

the unlock exactly yeah yeah okay you're still missing some of the features though like if you put a T-Mobile SIM in

the SE which I did uh you don't get Wi-Fi calling you miss some stuff like

that happens with every international phone too though yeah Wi-Fi calling is really specific i'm pretty sure the answer to this is seven Android updates

when they say seven years they mean seven Android years not real years so So

like when they released two updates this year because they were late on 1 UI7 that's two updates not one that's two

that doesn't count as one that was a big question that we had i tried to clarify it with Samsung they gave me some BS

answer via PR and it didn't really clarify anything at all so even after asking them I have no idea what to tell

you but it seems like it's seven actual Android updates and not years i think

they do kind of hint around that beta uh I don't know i talked about this

in the video I made last night with the S23 versus S24 versus S25 Ultra there

are things that are better about the One UI's beta on the S24 Ultra but there's

also things that are better on the stable quote unquote S25 Ultra build

obviously the S24 Ultra has the media player live notifications the S25 Ultra

still doesn't have it what the hell is that about no one knows the Google sports cores though they work on the S25

series they don't work on the S24 even though it's listed in the now bar the

new beta has the February Google Play update and the S25 is still on the

October 2024 update in terms of Yeah go ahead after the

March update we still have the crappy charging animation yes the charging where it actually says

charging it's like and then it just flies back in which is really jerky charging animation's a little better on

the new beta for the S24 but it still has some jankiness to it too i don't know what the hell they're doing there

either um I don't know about the smoothness here's what I will say and I said this in the video as

well i tuned all my animations using homeup on the S25 Ultra and I'm not

turning those off because I like it so I can't really say I don't use you know some people like are going to turn it

off for the video and then tell you like "Oh look how much nicer it is but they're not using that on a daily basis

they're just showing you." So I don't know because I use my homeup tuning every day uh I just off to compare

there's really no point in complaining about them if you can just make them what you want like home animations work

very well there's no bug there's really no buggess or or laggginess or people complain about slow animations on stock

then use homeup and make it make it whatever you want that's my thought as well like homeup now lets you change it

to whatever you want and you can make it so that there's no lag no no whatever um

I say with the new homeup there's no difference in smoothness because you can tune it to be whatever you want the S23

Ultra still has a little bit of jank with some app opening and closings and

if you're multitasking there's a few little bugs um I've seen some people on X had some bugs on the S23 Ultra i've

noticed it a little bit but again I don't like to speak to it because I have an S23 Ultra but I don't use it as my

daily phone i'd rather trust the people who use it every day i don't I don't use it as my main phone considered the Plus

but you had to go for the Gusto i think that's how most people end up getting to the Ultra yeah not everybody needs the Ultra that's for sure but a lot of

people get it because there's not big price difference after the tradein is what usually happens me either Paul i'm

on team no screen protector for sure one of Let's go back go back to that for a second since you don't use one and I do

so I put this on I don't know two weeks ago and I can always already see like some micro scratches here right and I

don't you know like I don't I don't go anywhere like you know like footny so

like my phone doesn't go that many places so what do you got shirt what is that on

your shirt right the fluffy thing no your shirt what kind of shirt is that oh

it's a Alabama are you an Alabama fan my sister went to Alabama oh my god did you

know Tori and I are from Alabama we're huge Alabama fans yeah my sister went to Alabama she graduated tory and I were

both born there we're huge Alabama football fans we went to a game together we actually met when Tori was my student

cuz he had an Alabama shirt on and I had an Alabama hat on because I was an adjunct to grad assistant at the time

and we started talking while he was my stat student because we both had Alabama stuff on and we talked we were both from

similar parts of Alabama we were born in similar parts of Alabama so that's interesting yes Stacy I would agree the

S25 Ultra is a lot cooler than even my S24 Ultra was that is another problem I

will say though the S25 Ultra handles the thermals better with 1 UI7 the S24

Ultra and the S23 Ultra can get a little warm when you're multitasking and doing gaming on on One UI7 so I don't know is

the beta better than the stable S25 series there's pros and cons i have no idea what the hell Samsung is doing like

at this point though what is beta and what is stable like what is what is what is the build on here on the on the 25

what is that in beta i think it's all just betas they just

had to push it out on the S25 just are they just giving us stock betas because the phone I think it was all just a beta

anyway because you know they they had to push it out they couldn't just be like oh we're not going to launch it because

it's their new phone sorry what are they going to do be like Apple and put out a bunch of commercials about 1 UI7 and

then not ship the phone with 1 UI7 then they would end up getting sued can't do that um still can't get up it's broken

on it's broken on the S24 and the S25 S23 Paul so if you have an S24 S23

that's why the US carry system is very confusing yes it's it's very confusing i

think that I think that comes from back in the day though with GSM and CDMMA which is why still even though

technically it's not supposed to be that's why when you go to Visible or Mobile X or one of those Verizon based

car MVNOs's you have to do a rigorous IMEI check whereas when you go to Leica

you're just like I just want a SIM just give me a SIM and they're like okay here's a SIM you have a nice day i don't

have a visible SIM i was going to say because I have Where'd it go i just had it right here so I have this I'll try this on the carriers too on on Mobile X

i guess Mobile X will do it because it's on Verizon um the new M20 yeah they sent me this to review it's like $109 but

it's got uh 8 gigs of RAM 5,000 mAh hour battery

uh 1.6 octaore CPU don't know what kind uh so we'll see how crappy it is

but um I'm going to use this for testing the SIMs because this phone I tried it on visible and the IMEI does not come up

so for obvious reasons that's right so I'll be able to check that and see on like Mobile X if they're

like "Uh what is this?" Or I've been I've been told because I've been using Visible like as my own thing for a while

and I've been told that if you get them to send you a physical SIM like if you tell them you have like an iPhone or you use that trick or whatever and they send

you a physical SIM once the SIM is activated you can put it in anything you want you can I already tried that i got

a visible SIM cuz we're thinking about working with them too they sent me one i activated it and check it out Colin

remember how we were talking about could you activate it without putting it in the phone you can i downloaded the app

on my S25 Ultra i I didn't take the SIM out of its packaging typed in the puck

code typed in the SIM number hit activate they activated it fine took it out of the packaging put it in my S24

Ultra and it worked fine you can it's no problem i'll let people know that too um

because you have I got it i have it on both the Flip and the Fold and um yeah the the beta on

both it's It's pretty good um I'm not really a big fan of I still

do not like the fact that the cover screen on the flip you can only run like widgets they need to make it like you

can run full apps like on Motorola i think they're doing that this year don't you have the good lock thing to do that

what don't you have the good lock thing so you can do that uh you can't though really i mean you can run a subset it

still runs basically a widgeted version yeah you can run it

but but it's still it's still though you've got like this weird folder like cutout screen so like No no no there's a

there's a good luck thing that you can No I have that yes okay you have the good luck widget that let you add add

apps to it right yeah I do it and you can use it but there's still a few

restrictions for that particular widget too there's some apps that you can't add or that don't work properly on the cover

screen they they haven't optimized it for all apps yeah and it's still in beta and they tell you some of them don't

work some of them will crash i'm kind of excited for the uh for the Motorola with the with the clicks keyboard you can do

a lot on the cover screen when the keyboard's not pushed up in there yeah that that is a I I would love for them

to make the clicks keyboard for this it would be nice i would I don't know why they said why they didn't but I don't

remember why they didn't but maybe for the Flip 7 they could do it though finally get to catch one of them what's

up F how are you the S24 Ultra had newer software version of certain apps yes it does um not that it makes a lot of

differences but yeah I think I think that the I think that the S25 software

is behind because they're trying to catch up on the 23 and the 24

yeah I mean this the Samsung camera stock camera is a mess really they they need to do better next year that's the

one place where Samsung is falling way behind i use expert raw for everything and it does pretty good but I don't even

really I mean I I of course pay attention to the stock camera because of course I cover Samsung for a living but

I don't use it as my main camera when I'm taking pictures i use Expert Raw it's better works much better how much

does impact the battery life use HomeUp for screen animations not a lot no

hardly at all i mean I used it with with the stock animations for a long time in

the beginning then I switched to my own custom tuned ones once I figured out what I liked I didn't really notice any

difference in the screen on time it's really hard to say exactly what you know

is draining your battery if you tune stuff in home up because obviously other things drain your battery too like if

you get a new update sometimes Samsung nerfs the battery with a monthly update

so how do I know that that's not causing it i don't think homeup really drains your battery on the animations

download speed um maybe that but that has a

there's a lot of things that go into upload and download speeds though i don't want to pin that i don't want to say that from where though huh

downloading from where though yeah i mean I guess he's talking about on the same Wi-Fi network or something but

there's still a lot that goes into that so I don't know i mean that that's a very subjective deal the Cubs win oh man

the Dbacks starting off the season on a bad note it's too bad um the Cubs are

playing the Dbacks again tonight that's probably why I caught a lot of traffic coming downtown is that people were

leaving the game because the Cubs were beating the Dbacks new software on my screen goes dark when I don't have adaptive screen

brightness is there a way to fix that in the S23 Ultra yes you can watch the

short that I posted today and recalibrate your auto brightness i don't think they have it i don't think they

have that on though i think that's what they're saying huh they don't have adaptive screen brightness it's not on

that's what they're saying i don't have adaptive screen brightness oh no he says

even when I don't have it turned on he's saying yeah so it wouldn't But you can still recal that if you do the trick

that Colin said it should recalibrate your baseline brightness too so try it

try try that trick and see because even in it should recalibrate your your baseline brightness as well as the auto

brightness you don't have like your 5% thing on where it dims at 5% or anything like that either do you oh yeah you can

turn that off now like your power saving deal or something like that

um you have the S25 Ultra i've heard a couple people say this but I've never had an issue with it on the S25 i need

to plug my S25 in because I took a lot of pictures today i just remembered it's getting close to being dead it said like

well it's not dead it's at 40% but I consider that dead because I do a lot of stuff on my phone so I won't be able to

get through the rest of the night with 40% that's for sure uh did you try clearing cash maybe on the Google app Paul a couple people that work for I'm

assuming you tried it but try clearing the app cache maybe that works i don't

know could these What is the name of the horrible screen

protector has a fingerprint cutout i don't remember because I never used them colin might know i've What is that screen protector called lately Lately I

haven't seen any um please no one should buy one because

it messed with Yeah I the cutout I haven't seen one in a while i mean the Samsung one doesn't this last one doesn't i know the

uh I know the white stone ones don't um but some like really cheap ones don't tell us that stuff i don't want to hear

about it because we don't have we still have October some cheap ones this isn't really much of an issue with the

ultrasonic fingerprint sensors but the the optical ones wouldn't be able to get through the glasses it would reflect um

so they would have a cutout and a glue on the screen protector but the the newer optical ones don't don't need that

because they can go straight through the glass

download video you mean exporting that's not down i'm not sure what you mean that's not downloading though that's

That's exporting a video you mean actually writing the video to memory i

think they're t I think they're referring to downloading and saving it to the phone but that could be I mean

but he says saving a video on the device itself rendering a video rendering means like you Yeah are you downloading a

device from the internet a device are you downloading a video from the internet or are you downloading are you Yeah saving a video from your camera

edit a video in a video editor like Premiere Pro or like a mobile one you export it that's definitely a better

test of performance let me I'll look I'll guess that's somewhat interesting

um video to memory yeah okay yeah see I misunderstood you i thought you were talking about downloading because when I

think downloading I think downloading from the internet or from cellular data okay that's interesting i don't know i

haven't tested that i'll have to take a look and see um what video did they do that in our good

buddy Daniel Scootery you know from Sam Mobile is that who Tech of Benefits is yeah it

is oh I'm closing the page never mind i'm not looking

our good our best friend over there at Sam Mobile who uh said the storage over

here the storage should be faster on the S25 Ultra or the same i mean I'm pretty sure it's faster though isn't it well I

think his point was Dehe's point is that he thinks that then this must be a software issue i'll have to test it

have you have you tested it or are you relying on just on what he said because sometimes that might not

Colin saying he doesn't trust Daniel say you know I haven't I'm not

necessarily saying that either are you going from what one person said because they have they could have something running on their device in the background or something that they did

the test that's a good point that's a good point we're not saying we don't necessarily trust Daniel but if you take

one person's advice for anything it could be anything it's just anecdotal you need a lot of different data points

to say for sure that something is the case and and if they did a video I guess that depending where they're downloading

from too or if they made the video on the phone and they're exporting it the S25 is going to be a better camera than

the S24 slightly that can you know change speeds and stuff too it's like

buying a buying a MacBook and exporting a video with one camera versus another camera it's going to be different and

yes sarcasmo all the S25 series are stuck on October 2044 Google Play system

i reached out to Samsung PR and I asked them why this is and they do not want to comment on it they said if you stop

emailing us we might get a update out but probably not they they said they told me if I don't stop asking that

question they would delay the stable roll out to the S24 series as well and I said "Whoa calm down." No they didn't

really say that they they blocked his email a couple months ago that's why he's not getting any responses they said

they said "Sorry please don't ask such questions like that." We did get a few what three updates though they're still

October but I don't know what they were they were all like one megabyte and then 149 kilob the hell was that i was just

waiting i was like maybe those are just like some little precursor updates and the next one's going to be the update and I'd restart my phone and it wasn't

and then I have another one i'd restart it and nope this is true the S23 Ultra is not getting log video it's true

much more worked on device it would Yes have you seen the date on the kernel of

the March update maybe that's why it came out late are you talking about the

March security patch for the S25 is that what you're talking

about yeah yeah i mean F I have heard some people say this is the case but I

don't know I mean I guess maybe the camera app that could be the case I mean

yeah I guess for the camera this could be the case same phone settings and did them

heads up large speed difference you know another thing too is is if one of those was his main phone or if he was using

one of those phones before he did that test and the other one was just sitting there the temperature could

have you know throttled a little bit too on on one of them yeah f saying he's seen a few people test this i mean I'll

test it and give it a try i mean I don't it's honestly hard to use every single

phone all the time though I typically stay away from unless it's a software

comparison comparisons because like Colin said if I compare hardware performance for a phone I use all the

time which right now is the S25 Ultra to something that's sitting in my drawer or

I just turn on to make videos or to take screenshots is not really great

comparison so I don't like to state stuff as fact but and we already know and we already know that some things of the beta are better on on the 24th yeah

obviously obviously I'm not disagreeing i'm not disagreeing um it's certainly

the case that pretty much all of the 1 UI7 software is beta they're just different beta versions and the S25

seems to be a beta as well cuz and it seems to be later than or yeah later than than what's come out on the older

device obviously the S25 should have all the stuff on the the betas for the S23 and S24 and it doesn't it doesn't have

the media player and the live notifications it's missing a bunch of stuff that's on these newer

betas so obviously it's not really fully stable itself

um March 12th is the date of the kernel i mean that could be yeah why it came

out late it's still I mean there was nothing really in the March update other than security patches though there was

really no really they could have added some of those features to the S25 series

with the March update because it came out late but they didn't why didn't they add media player in the live notifications that's not even hard to do

how hard is it to put the media player in the live notifications that doesn't take any effort they didn't even do that

so I don't really know why what's getting log video zfold 6 um ZFold 6 the

S24 Ultra the S25 Ultra the S25 series uh I don't think Wait a second i don't

remember the Flip 6 does doesn't it the Flip i think it does too yeah I don't use Flip it's like all this stuff all

this stuff out and then last generation yeah I have it right here let's see advanced video features

uh no the Flip 6 doesn't have log video yet so it might get it but it doesn't have it no log video on the Flip 6 this

is the most recent beta no no log video as the HDR10 plus

videos why does Samsung not provide app lock no idea they seem to think that the

secure folder is enough i've made videos on this before complaining about it why don't they have guest option tabs they

do on tablets they have guest accounts on tablets not on phones don't really

know why can you enable that developer menu in the developer menu though i thought they wait let me clarify this i

saw that they are bringing guest users back integrated with the tablet software

in a more obvious way in 1 UI7 i don't know because I don't have the beta yet someone said that though um we had a few

leaks about what was on 1 UI7 beta for the tablet i haven't really seen any videos about it so I don't know fully i

guess I'll check when I get it but I don't think applock is coming anytime soon it'd be nice if they brought it

with 1 UI 8 but I don't have a lot of hope so but thought it was interesting is 1

UI 7 worse on the S25 Ultra that's a great title i will say that it's a good

title next week next week podcasts i could make the title better maybe I

should make the title better and do the same video

he wouldn't appreciate that but you know sometimes in life you got to do it let

me see it we should do We should do that next week and do uh and do something talking about that just because we're

best friends maybe maybe I'll I I'll just make the video tonight and drop it you know I feel like his video needs a

does tell you that and also on battery in the now app setting unrestricted that

A545G they don't have a date i mean they basically don't have a date for anything

beyond the S23 series right now yeah the S22 Ultra is getting it people with S2

are just like yeah the S22 Ultra people are just like you know that meme where

John Travolta is like where is my update because they just have a flagship from a

few years ago and they don't even know when they're getting it sad story yes good suggestions for sure um

great suggestions for the Now Bar what's that i know everybody's asking about cases and G2 charging especially we'll

have to talk about the Samsung um charging stand uh but everybody's talking about the G2 charging spec it

works confirmed yeah I won't I won't I won't really make the thumbnail that crazy i mean I'm

probably too tired to try to reproduce that video tonight because I'd have to go through and do all the tests i'd be a little too in the morning i mean I will

watch the video though and see maybe if there's something worth reporting on we'll post about it

but I don't know cuz the thing is wait I'm just curious let me see we We got to

talk about the S25 Edge cuz that was on the thumbnail and we haven't talked about it at all yet we're 40 minutes into the podcast people are going to be

like "What the hell is wrong with these guys they're advertising stuff and then they're not even delivering." Um sounds

like somebody we know so wait yeah exactly so so wait a minute

um Daniel made this video but did Sam Mobile even post about it i know that's

his personal channel but did they post about it on Sam Mobile i don't think so

i haven't heard anything about it and I get a lot of Samsung stuff in my Google news feed

yeah I don't think they posted about in Sam Mobile so they must not be that you must not be that confident because you

know you can opinion about something but if you're not posting it over on the big site then you might not feel that

confident i don't know i'll watch it though and see what I mean I'm always interested if it's true i definitely take a look at it but I'm looking at Sam

Mobile i don't think they post anything about it they didn't start to post anything about the S24 Ultra having a

better version or being better performance um but we'll definitely take a look at

it just for fun see what's going on um I see they did publish this though but

guess what they didn't put any of our images in there what's up with that quite

rude how rude how rude indeed but that's okay you

know it happens sometimes um anyway let's uh talk about the S25

Edge for a second and then I do want to talk about a few things larry sent me pictures of the 3in-1 charging stand i

want to show those i do want to talk about our exclusive leak with Onaks of

the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE uh which is basically looking kind of like a Z Flip

6 uh and then a couple other things from the site so let me share my screen first let's talk about the Galaxy S25 Edge

because um it is coming and if you want one it's going to be time to buy one

next month so let's see window here we go share there it is okay so couple of

things let's run down the S25 Edge first here's our article on everything you

need to know sumit does a great job with these so if you're going to buy the phone go check out this article it's got

a ton of info everything we know about S25 Edge as of right now is over there

um and it's got a nice table of contents tells you everything that's going to be coming hardware software etc so right

now uh it looks like the phone is going to be incredibly thin as we know it's

going to have two cameras as Samsung showed at Unpacked in January it's

supposedly going to have very good durability despite being very thin um it

looks like the Edge is going to have ceramic rear panel which is pretty awesome um lightweight so in addition to

being thin and durable it's going to be very lightweight 162 gram um which is 28

grams lower than the Plus look at the screen to body ratio very impressive um

here's the leak renders this is the S25 Edge renders early ones these don't look

like obviously what we ended up seeing in the end here's the actual what we saw it unpacked no S Pin support even though

there's only two cameras the main camera is going to be very impressive 200 megapixel camera you guys can see here

what we're going to have for the primary shooter we now know right that there's only going to be two cameras we thought

originally there was going to be an entire set of you know cameras like the Ultra has and that turned out to not not

be true um and you can see here in these photos that even with a 200 megapixel

camera are people really going to think of this as a flagship if it only has that and it has you know one other

camera to go along with it is that going to be enough to get people to be happy about the flagship if there's no zoom

camera on here that might make people a lot of people not want to buy it i use my zoom more than ultra wide i don't

know about you Colin but I do for sure i I I don't do too much like literally like if I use the camera it's probably

like to send like to upload something to X or send a text like so i don't really Yeah go out and do photography the

selfie camera is going to be the same one that's on the rest of the S25 series nothing interesting there same processor

um it's it's not a different processor 12 gigs of RAM probably no um 16 gig

variant in the US because obviously we didn't get it on the Ultra should support Wi-Fi 7 Bluetooth 5.4 it's going

to launch on 1 UI7 but which beta version will it launch with we don't know is it going to launch with the S24

beta the S23 beta the S25 beta who knows

we know it's going to have 1 UI7 um it could come with six months of Gemini Advance just like the rest of the

S25s the battery is a big concern for me 3900 milliamp battery um which I don't

know i'm really concerned about the battery that's a That's a big That's a big phone to have a that's a big phone

with a small battery um not only that it's a big it's a big phone with

flagship specs flagship processor with the battery it still has it still has a

big powerful display that's going to eat a lot of battery i'm a little com I'm a little concerned about that four to five

hour kind of kind of unit it's still going to have 45 watt charging it would certainly be nice if they had up this

charging to 65 watts since they're going to have only Yeah only a 3900 milliamp

battery i think more companies need to go to 100 watt

that's one thing I love about my OnePlus is you plug it you plug it in get in the shower and you come back out and the thing's charged yeah that's the uh SS

and shave wait you don't have to do all that with S

phone yeah you don't you don't even have to do all that with the OnePlus you can probably just go wash your hands come back and it's mainly charging oh there

you go i don't know if I need 100 watt charging though but I mean 65 watt would be nice anyway here's the other bad news

it's probably going to launch on April 16th that looks like the release date that's not official and obviously I

don't know anything and even if I did I couldn't tell you even though I might but I can't tell you um so what have you

heard about these price rumors the price is looking like it could be $1099 the original rumor was a,000 now

the rumor is it might be $1099 that would make it very difficult to sell in my opinion like even hardware

wise like even like with the the design and the hardware like it's growing on me but the battery for that price

yeah the design is nice the performance is great until your battery is dead and then you have no performance yeah what

kind of battery life we think we're going to get on here probably like four hours screen on time couple YouTube

videos and it's out because I mean I get like I get about six to six and a half

on the Ultra and it's got a much larger battery 25% larger people always ask me

too like "How many hours of screen on time do you get?" I don't look at that i measure my phones in how many times do I

have to charge it throughout the day is it inconvenient like I only look at that if there's something like weird going on

but if it can get me through the day like with my usage then we're good oh and Sumit Summit left

this in here but I wouldn't worry about this anymore again I don't know anything but

from all the information that I don't know I can tell you even though I don't

know that you should expect it to launch in the US and that it should be in

substantial enough quantities that if you want to buy one you'll be able to buy one without a huge issue so it's

gonna be like the Apple Vision Pro there's going to be plenty of card it's gonna be fine it's not going to launch

just in Korea and China i can tell you that much i can say that um it's going to be in the US so don't worry too much

about that if you want to buy one get your credit card ready for the middle of April if you're in the US you'll be able

to buy one it'll probably be more expensive than you want but it's a nicel looking phone the design is growing on

me just like you said Colin this is starting to look like a nice design to me it It is a nice design i think the

camera array looks better than the one on the reg rest of the S25 series do you

think Do you think they're doing what Apple did with the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 10

kind of yeah the iPhone The iPhone 8 came out first they announced the 10 because it was this major new redesign

do you think this is going to be like the new design that we see kind of like going forward do you think this is kind

of how I guess it could but they can't make the Ultra that thin because there'd be no room for the S Pen

this thing wouldn't be able to fit an S Pen in it the only thing that bugs me when you now you said S Pen at the bottom of my phone um the only thing

that bugs me about the Edge is the USB port isn't centered

yeah that's true it does look like it's not centered

well I mean here's the good news if you do want to buy one we're going to have

mystery boxes for them i uh I was able to secure

250 S25 edge cases will we actually sell that many mystery boxes probably not i'm

going to guess we only sell like 50 to 80 but I bought 250 because they weren't

a good deal and I was able to get them just by exchanging goods mostly i

usually don't pay a lot of money in cash for them i just exchanged some services with brands and I'm able to acquire them

is that what you're doing in the in that alleyway with your trunk the other day yeah exactly i just do some back room

deals no cash changes hands but I was able to get some c some some stuff so

you will be able to get a mystery box we do have the pages already up by the way for the ZFold 7 ZFlip 7 and S25 Edge you

can actually sign up for all three of them on the same page or if you just want to go to the S25 Edge you can go to

the S25 no not this one ah we put the wrong one in there why

ah no i didn't even know that was in there i think Obnav must have put the wrong one there's one only for the S25

account um these are the exclusive renders that we were able to leak of the

Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE with on leaks we did this on Friday yesterday this is what

the Galaxy Z Flip 7 fan edition is going to look like and um it basically looks like a

ZFlip 6 i'm not going to lie to you um I have a Z Flip 6 right here it looks kind

of the same but there is one difference in the dimensions if you go to the website and read our article where we

wrote up all the leaks for the ZFlip 7 FE the dimensions are quite a bit different it's a lot thicker it's a

thick boy right here see that right there 7.4 millimeters um it's it's

substantially thicker than the Galaxy Z Flip 6 particularly when it's unfolded

the thickness this way when you have it unfolded is substantial so that's

basically what's going on there um is the difference in the thickness that's

the only thing though otherwise it looks very similar you can see the dimensions here you can see how it looks this way

looks just like a Z Flip 6 there's no huge difference between them um but a

lot of stuff is going to go on this new channel and uh the leaks are going to be on the new channel but that's not the

only thing that's going to go over here youtube does not like it when I post

hardware reviews on my own channel i don't know why because they're like "Jeff you don't make software videos go

shut up and dance and do what you're supposed to do go be a monkey and dance for us." software video guy and they

don't like it they derank my videos so I'm gonna do a lot of hardware stuff over there maybe I'll start competing

with Tech with Benefits for some hardware content you know on the car hardware side um but we're also going to

have different video personalities over there who knows you might see Colin over there colin might start doing more stuff

on the Sammy Guru channel um because we might start posting a lot of shorts on Sammy Guru more so than my channel as

well and then we'll also have some different video personalities maybe not just Colin we might Josh who is one of

our writers he said he might want to do some videos i'll let him try the great thing about having a new channel is the

new channel I have nothing to lose so I could do whatever I want it's already

has no following so if if it tanks The only thing I noticed though is if

you start a channel and you do just shorts then your long form videos don't do well if you start a channel you do long form videos then sometimes your

shorts don't do well because I've seen a lot of people that all they upload all they upload is shorts and then they post like they'll have like millions of

subscribers from shorts and they post a long form video and get 9,000 views but

that's okay because my real goal for this channel is to drive people to learn about the website and that they'll go

and read the website so we don't really care if this channel makes $10 a month forever i don't care it'll make me a lot

of money on the website if we get subscribers so we're just going to test it out the main reason is for me to have

a place to post stuff for Sammy Guru that I don't want to put on my own channel and also give the website its

own video identity um and to bring some new people because the website's called

Sammy Guru we can have several different gurus it doesn't have to be just me and I'm tired i do all the stuff for this

company and I'm just exhausted i need to share the load i'm tired of doing all the work and it's gotten too much i

can't do all the work for this business anymore um how disappointed am I not

really if it's $799 it's going to sell like hotcakes this thing is going to sell like crazy if it's only $7.99 plus

when it goes on sale yeah this thing this thing is going to sell like crazy i

mean it looks just like a Z Flip 6 if this thing only costs $7.99 it's going to sell really well and

if it goes on sale to like $6.99 650 they're going to sell millions

of this phone it'll probably sell more maybe even than the regular Z Flip 7

potentially what is that what is Float Plane i have

no idea pl is uh is Lionus's um video sharing website where he it's

like a paid thing I think would I upload to a paid service I don't

know for my purposes for my purpose with Sammy

Guru I used to listen to the podcast is that not

what I know what you mean Thomas are you asking why we don't have the audio part

anymore well there's a lot of reasons one my following is mostly on YouTube two I've just been behind on all

my projects as affirmentioned and I haven't been uploading the audio um the

main reason is that the podcast makes no money it actually loses money right now and so I spend a lot of time dealing

with the business ventures that make us money right now and I haven't been uploading the audio no good excuse but

unfortunately when something is not doing well it's easier to depprioritize it sammy Guru is doing very well as a

website we're getting tons of traffic we get a million unique readers a month my

YouTube channel does very well for long form it's It takes a lot that's what it is

it's like a Patreon kind of thing like you It's like you creators set their own pricing and they can you know

I don't know that that would accomplish my goal because I want to get more people to read Sammy Guru

at the end because I offer the way I make my money

is not by making AdSense revenue i make money by mystery boxes

and I make money while everything that'll go down i need people to be watching reading Sammy Grew i don't care

too much about the other pieces if you're asking if I'll ever upload the audio again Thomas I don't know i really

don't know what I'm doing with the podcast long term i just enjoy talking to people on Saturday otherwise I

wouldn't do it because it doesn't really I think there's a way we can put the the

stream into a podcast i'm not too sure you can I just been too lazy to do it i I should do it i can tell you how to do

it if you want to start doing it and upload it to our buzz we have an audio thing i mean you can do podcast on

YouTube now though well yeah but we also would want to syndicate it to our actual podcast

channel on Buzzrout i'm still paying for Buzz Sprout and not using it like an idiot um a lot of money actually like I

said the podcast is losing me money every single time I do it but stay l right that's fine uh what else are we

yeah but it only goes up and down according to Larry does the phone do that too or is it just

coming Monday larry was smart he shipped it to his residential address i shipped it to the office and FedEx won't come to

the office on Saturday there's the front of the packaging very premium box looks

nice g2 45 watt charger

there it is with Larry's watch his buds and his phone is not on

that one but still looks nice there it is without anything on it just on his desk it looks nice man 130 bucks is a

lot of money though i think my anger looks like 100 I will say but it's probably pretty competitive

for what you get oh Larry says the phone goes up and down the watch does not adjust at all

how it's how it's sitting in the box yeah okay that makes sense that makes

sense which I mean that's kind of nice though cuz I don't really need to look at the watch while it's charging yeah that makes a lot of sense so I want

to show these um this is now available in the US um to buy huh only at Best Buy

though isn't it it's only at Best Buy samsung doesn't have it but if you want to buy it and you need it go ahead and

buy it from my affiliate link we've already sold 30 or 40 of these I think through the article we posted on the

website we sold a ton of them because we got it up we got it up before anybody else

um we got up the uh we got up the post before anyone and we sold a bunch of

these too bad it's not Samsung though because Best Buy doesn't quite uh they don't come across with the money quite

like Samsung does but still I'm glad people are able to get them uh it's really nice i mean I'm looking forward to getting mine let me know what you

guys think it is expensive but if you want something like this it's probably pretty competitive in terms of the

pricing you know for what you're getting are you going to get one Colin what do you think probably i'll probably wait

till I have them in store and I'll go pick one up i have this weird thing where if I go to

order something and they don't have it or I can't get it like the next day or two I just won't order it and then for some reason I'll wait longer till I can

get it like that day or the next day i don't know why

um well Larry said watch attach as well that's good i mean yeah it'll definitely help my wife will definitely want one

i'm going to have to buy another one my wife will probably take this one once I do the video cuz she loves these things

she has a triple or dual one the old school Samsung one she puts her watch and her her S25 Ultra on every night on

her nightstand she uses it more reliably than I do and she has buds so she's gonna want this so I might lose it after

I make the video she knows I gotta make the video because we got to make the money but then she'll steal it after I

make the video she'll be like "Well we already made the money let me go ahead and just take this i'll put it over

here." Yeah she'll be like "I'll just take it and put it on my nightstand and if you need to shoot any more footage

it'll be over here." And then uh I'll have to buy another one which is fine but

um yeah I don't know let me know if anybody else is thinking about buying one of these it's It does look very cool

another thing I want to talk about let me go to this other window i'm switching back and forth between windows because I'm got stuff on the site got stuff on

and let me talk about the A36 for just a second when I bought this I kind of wrote this off as being like oh yeah

it's a mid-range phone i don't do a lot with mid-range phones so I wasn't expecting a lot the camera on this phone

is really good now 1 UI7 does have a few little stutters here and there it It's

not terrible but com here's the thing i use I use an S25 Ultra as my main phone

if you compare this to an S25 Ultra of course you're going to feel like there's some lag because it's it's a $900 more

phone right the cost is ridiculously high compared to this but the value for

this phone the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 which is in here does a really good job in

day-to-day use if you don't compare it to a $1,300 flagship you're not going to

be disappointed and the camera is really really good um the same thing is true of

the A56 which I also have right here but this is not in the US yet they're not

selling the A56 here yet only the A36 and the A26 so uh I would say if you

need a phone for like a a kid or something or you want to get a second phone for yourself or like if you're an

iPhone user god forbid hopefully not and you wanted an Android phone to play with it's a good phone for that it has 1 UI7

out of the box it has AI select which is one of the best you know Galaxy AI

features in my opinion one of the most useful ones and the camera is really good why does this say lavender what the

hell why does it say lavender who wrote that did I write

that we gota we gota we got to get it together over here how are we ever going to be the best of all in in the world if

we don't even know the color of the phone this is the awesome lime color not lavender i don't know where that came

from but uh this is awesome lime which is a best buy exclusive in the US um and

there's what I7 looks like of course there's no now brief on this phone but

there's no now brief on the S24 Ultra either so you know you're not losing a whole lot but yeah it's a really nice

phone the camera is a mind-blowingly good i was not going to make any more content on it but I might make a short

and then another article on Sammy Guru just with some photo samples so you guys can see how good they are i'm not going

to make another long form video because YouTube will give it like 10 views or something so I'm not going to do that i

don't want to waste my time but I might make another short you know just to kind of show you guys how good the camera is

it's really good very good for a mid-range phone i was impressed um blue sky that's right we do have a blue sky

now for the website it came out of the clear blue sky we came up with one video

eraser is coming when Paul but when is the question people want to know when it's

coming um what else do we cover this week this is when I usually go through and talk about what else we covered oh

the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 benchmarks came out early showing some pretty

impressive numbers um this is looking like this the processor that's going to be in the S26

Ultra 4,000 single core 13,000 multi-core that's pretty good i mean

it's not mind-blowing it's probably not going to be mind-blowing in day-to-day use but it's a pretty big jump

also expert RAW is going to get adaptive pixel support for 200 megapixel mode in

the next update this should be huge i think a lot of people don't realize how big this is i use the adaptive pixel but

it's not available on 200 megapixel uh shooting mode this could be a game

changer really because I use expert raw as my main camera app this is a pretty big deal when this update comes out I

might have to do like I said a a deeper dive on this one too with some camera samples to show you guys cuz this could

potentially be pretty big there's also a few other features coming as well which is a new composition guide in there as

well that could be in this uh expert raw update this came from Theodore Sim over on X and it's supposed to be the

upcoming version could come out this week and uh yeah yes expert RAW is

getting new features that's correct um the Galaxy S25 was got spotted on

Geekbench running the um 1

UI8 what the hell 1 UI8 we haven't even rolled out 1 UI7 yet what is going on

around here Colin how can we be talking about 1 UI 8 can't even have 1 UI7 well we don't I

don't even have 1 UI7 on all my phones in stable and yet here we are talking about 1 UI 8 but it did show it does

show that Samsung's testing 1 UI 8 so maybe we could get 1 UI8 early maybe 1

UI7 will come out in April and then the 1 UI8 beta will start in July who knows

could happen maybe we'll get a PlayStation update with it maybe it's a possibility could happen

um what else we got yeah maybe we'll get a play system update for the S25 Ultra when 1 UI 8 comes out it'll update from

October till October 2025 when 1 UI 8 arrives later this year in the fall um

what else we got oh the S10 FE series is already up

for sale in Austria uh on some third party retailer that

phone that tablet uh is probably coming i mean I don't know anything again this

is off the record but my guess is it's going to come at the same time as the S25 Edge launch next month so if you

want the Tab S10 FE or FE Plus it's probably coming in April and it's

already leaked it's been on all the databases and everything oh Larry said the driver's license tutorial that was a

good tutorial how to add your driver's license it is a great thing um me and

Obnav teamed up to write this i took all the screenshots and he wrote it you can add your driver's license it's only in

six states right now but Arizona is one of those states and so of course I added

it to my S25 Ultra since you can do it here in Arizona and uh I have it right

here if you swipe up on your Samsung wallet boom you guys can instantly get

access to all of my information on my ID right there just scan it up no I'm just kidding you have to actually show the QR

code or place it against the reader but uh it is very useful i like having my wallet uh Samsung wallet with my

driver's license it works TSA it works at the airport and all that good stuff

um which is good because I'm taking a trip to New York in a couple weeks i don't know if anyone saw that on X i'll

be headed out to New York on April 11th

um which is pretty close to April 16th you know just saying but I'll be taking

a short trip to New York very short just got some stuff that I need to do there

for a few days and then I'll be back um what else these Galaxy devices will get

Samsung oh this is a good list of everything getting 1 UI7 the iPhone is finally getting 8K video recording five

years after Samsung added it impressive i think you should have your

passport i do have a passport i think you add it to the Huh i think you add it

to the wallet app oh yeah yeah yeah i don't think you can add the passport to the Can you add a passport there i've

never tried must I don't know if you can or not can you add a passport really my step sucks

i don't think you can add a passport but if you can I'll certainly try i don't think I I I would I would

have seen that I think but I don't think you can add a passport are we getting other countries in August

i don't really know why they would release a Tab S11 in August because the last two tabs have been the same so

unless they have something to change I really wouldn't release another one yeah yeah I don't think you can really add a

passport i would have noticed that because I would have added my passport by now for sure so iPhone is getting 8K

video recording that's congratulations to people with an iPhone it's great good for them um One UI7 beta 2 came to the

tab but not in the US because we don't have the beta at all of course

um what else anything else oh the Samsung 2025 TVs came out so if you

really need a brand new TV you can now buy one from Samsung they are very nice

um I may have a review of one of them samsung has offered to send me one again

they've offered to send me one the last two years and last year I got one but

it's hard to take your TV down and do something with the other one and I I

it's difficult because I have two kids we're busy i might do it but I don't Nice TV right behind you huh right

behind you on that wall right there i could mount it on this wall yeah it's not a bad idea i thought about it i could put they they offered to give me

another 85 inch 4K i have the last year's flagship one the QLED 4K 85 in

they won't give me the 8K though i was like if you guys give me the 8K I'll do it and they're like no we can't do it

and I was like why not it's only like a $3,000 difference just just give it to

me i just want the 8K one i don't even want the 98 inch i just want the 85 in

um yeah it has Samsung Vision AI um these TVs look nice obviously the QLED

8K is the flagship but a sleeper sleeper pick in here that I actually thought

about Sam asking Samsung to send me is to send me the OLED one which I don't

think we even included come on what's going on here uh Benet why are you not

adding the OLIDS benet I'm just kidding i'm not upset with Benet but we got to add the OLIs in here the OLED is kind of

like a sleeper i think I might actually pick one of these up that's a huge price jump between the 85 and the 85 and the

98 yeah I told them if you guys send me the 98 I'll definitely do it but they're like that's a $20,000 TV and I was like

I mean yeah that's why I will do it for sure if you send it to me that's what I said i said if you send me the 98 inch

I'll definitely do it i will give you a long form video a post on the website

post on all the socials i'll even make two long form videos if you want for the

98 inch oh here's the new OLED right here check it out this is the new OLED and I don't

even think this is going to be the flagship version cuz this is the 85F usually their flagships have nines

after the letter so this is I think the like B-class OLED i think the flagship

one's coming later um this guy right here 28.99 though looks like a sleep not

a bad not a bad yeah it seems like it's pretty good i'm tempted to see if I may ask them to send me this because I only

have the QLED and just see how I like the Samsung OLED but maybe I should wait until the flagship OLED comes out

because it'll be nicer but I I don't know when it comes out i have to see but anyway those are available too if you

guys need a new TV is the beta available for the A55 no not yet no betas for the

A series yet there there have been a bunch of test builds on the server that

people have spotted and we reported on those but they haven't actually come to a real beta channel i think they even

opened up the beta forums for the A series on the community forums but they never released it um Google is taking

Android development behind closed doors no more open source out in the open development what's up with that i'm not

a fan of that but I mean it is what it is you know i don't

know google aims to simplify Android OS development they want to simplify it by

no longer doing it in open repositories so this has some interesting implications for Samsung but I mean

Samsung should be able to easily What do you mean why are people still talking about the A55 Paul because he probably

owns the phone what do you mean that's not a very nice thing to say come on he

probably owns it the A55 is only one year old i mean not everybody has the latest

phone i don't know what you mean by that it's it's a relevant phone it's it's a phone that a lot of people probably

bought is my guess and he probably wants to know when his phone's going to get the beta it makes sense um yeah the FCC

certified the Edge as well so you know it's going to be released soon you don't even need me to tell you that oh and

then here I want to talk about this this is another partner that we're going

to think about bringing on full-time for the channel mobile X runs on Verizon and they use an AI algorithm to determine

your best data plan during a three 10day free trial it's not really free because

you have to pay $4.88 to get the SIM kit and then they give you the 10-day trial for free but

if you use more than two gigs of data they automatically move you to a paid plan which is silly kind of but it does

work well i tested it and I tried using you know like 500 megs of data during

the trial just to see what it would say and it basically recommended since I use 500 megs during the tri trial period to

get a 3 gigabyte plan a month which would save me a lot of money over their unlimited plan and the other thing that

you can do is you don't have to get talk and text you can actually just get data

with no talk or text and save $4.50 so if you just want two gigs of

data and you don't want any talk or text you could get it for $6 a month all the

other carriers you pretty much have to pay for talking and text right so I kind

of like this um it runs great on the Verizon network i've been using it in my

uh Z no I've been using it in the A36 and in Phoenix it gets lightning fast

speeds i compared it to my visible sim and my postpaid i have a real Verizon

postpeed line all the speeds are about the same 500 megabytes down uh on the

ultrawide it get it also gets ultra wide as well larry switched by the way too he

had uh Visible and he switched from Visible to Mobile X when we posted about it larry is just out here making us all

kinds of affiliate money larry is like he's like I want Sammy Guru to be successful larry is single-handedly

making sure that we don't have to close the website without Larry we might have to close tomorrow

when I got mine I didn't I didn't use the affiliate link right so I don't think it did anything thankfully I can

still afford to pay Colin for making shorts and Tori for doing administrative stuff because Larry is giving Colin and

Tori and all of us jobs what's up Cab 78 how are you man yeah I know it's like

12:30 on the East Coast s24 Ultra and S25 Ultra is the best well of course they're the best but not everybody can

afford or wants to buy a S-line phone man i I know if you can afford it or if

it's like your hobby then yeah it's the right thing to do but the A series is still a great phone there's nothing

wrong with the A55 it's a very good phone this A56 is a great phone the

camera is great on the 36 and the 56 i really do like them i'm impressed with the camera um but yeah I would say I

like I like the camera bump mobile X if you're in a place where Verizon works well try the Mobile X i put the link in

there and uh see it it's a trial you can't hurt to try it if it works better than your current service or if you're

on Verizon Postpaid you could switch and save like $60 a month they have an unlimited plan for 14.88 a month which

is very good um it's cheaper than Visible you don't get as much high-speed data but if you don't use 40 gigs a

month of high-speed data then you're paying for something you're not using though I think they can you can choose

between I think 10 or 20 it's 10 gigs of highspeed data is

the the unlimited plan for the 1488 yes Leica is T-Mobile leica is

T-Mobile mobile X is Verizon um which again works very well here's the speed

test I did right here this is at my house ultra wide right here you can see it's on Verizon's ultra wide network 480

megs down that's inside my house i just turned off Wi-Fi from my home office and

let it rip and boom there you go was in the 80s today yeah it's been

it was in the 90s for a few days here in Phoenix it was 98 degrees on Thursday in March what the hell man like sometimes I

wish I didn't live on the face of the sun it's insane it's almost 100 degrees

it was 100 degrees on my car's thermometer when I was driving home on Thursday evening from the office i was

like "What the hell man why would anyone live here?" But I don't like the snow

and I don't ever have to deal with it thank god here in Phoenix i rarely ever have snow it's so hot there when it

rains it just evaporates before it hits the ground yeah it does a lot of the time it really does anyway also if you

do Mobile X you can get a discount the 10day trial is usually 9.88 88 you can get it for488 if you use our link so get

intelligent Wi-Fi it's hit or miss sometimes one is faster than the other i feel like with bouncing it's just gonna

start turning on and off too yeah yeah exactly um but I did steal your routine

Larry it's a good idea good suggestion i put it in a video i made a video on the

top five things top five Samsung tricks that they don't teach you in school

that's going to be the title anyway it'll probably bomb because YouTube is not feeling my stuff right now but I put

one isn't all metal this one's got like plastic on the front and the back the new one is like all metal construction

it has this soft touch material on the inside it's nicer than this one that I have sell right now it's 28 29 on Amazon
