0:42
such an important part of the exam it is
0:44
wrapped into every question that you

advice to real estate students is to

cover nine vocabulary terms a day do
0:53
three in the morning 3 in the afternoon
0:55
and 3 in the evening small bu is getting
0:57
you closer to success then practice your
1:01
math although math is only 15% of the
1:04
exam don't leave math out mastering that
1:07
15% can get you over the line to pass
1:10
and most definitely practice the entire
1:12
exam if you can get your hands on a good
1:15
practice exam use it in fact we have a

actual exam so you know what you're
1:26
walking into because we don't want you
1:29
to walk into the exam them blindfolded
1:31
tip number two know your acronyms
1:34
acronyms are an amazing memory tool that
1:36
will help you remember the key Concepts
1:38
that you need to know to pass a real
1:41
estate exam they can serve as memory
1:44
shortcuts that allow test takers to
1:47
quickly recall even the most complex
1:49
Concepts there are seven key acronyms
1:52
that you need to know if you want to
1:54
pass the real estate exam and we cover
1:56
those in our acronym video I will leave
1:58
a link to that video Below in the
2:00
description some of those acronyms
2:02
included are Pete which summarizes
2:04
Government powers Maria for fixtures and
2:08
studs for Value can you guys guess what
2:11
each of these stands for leave your
2:13
answers in the comment section tip
2:15
number three know the tach chart I
2:18
cannot tell you how many students
2:20
struggle with math and the fear is
2:23
really crippling when it comes to all
2:25
the formulas you have to be able to
2:27
recall for the exam but what if if I
2:30
told you that there is one secret
2:32
formula the t-chart that swallows your
2:35
entire lengthy formula sheet the teart
2:39
eliminates the need to have several
2:41
formulas memorized for the exam if you
2:43
don't know what the formula is or how to
2:46
use it there's a video in the
2:47
description you can visit tip number
2:50
four skim the paper tip number four is
2:53
to skim the paper before you start
2:55
answering the questions a quick scan can
2:58
give you the idea of what to expect when
3:00
you dive into the paper as you skim the
3:03
paper take note of the easy questions
3:05
and start with those this will not only
3:08
help you work faster but it will also
3:10
give you a boost of confidence for the
3:12
rest of the exam tip number five work
3:16
backwards there's no sugar coding this
3:18
you will run into difficult questions
3:20
but please when you do don't give up try
3:23
to work backwards while doing this you
3:26
will have to employ the process of
3:28
elimination most multiple choice
3:30
questions have two clearly wrong answers
3:33
one correct answer and one that is
3:35
deceptively close to the correct answer
3:38
so if you start off by eliminating the
3:41
two obviously wrong ones then you will
3:43
have 50% of the battle won Now read the
3:46
question and the two options again and
3:49
determine what makes the correct answer
3:52
correct tip number six don't change your
3:54
answer if you look at a question and you
3:57
immediately get an idea of the correct
3:59
answer then probably it is the correct
4:01
answer I'm not suggesting this is always
4:04
the case but as an aspiring real estate
4:06
agent you have to learn to trust your
4:08
instincts you studied for the exam put
4:11
in the time and practice so trust that
4:14
you have the knowledge to pass the exam
4:16
tip number seven never Circle what you
4:19
don't know if you encounter an answer
4:21
that you have never heard or seen before
4:24
then resist the temptation to Circle it
4:27
if you encounter an answer like that
4:30
most probably it is an answer that
4:32
doesn't exist it is an examiner's trick
4:35
to trap you so don't fall into it tip
4:38
number eight look at the answer first
4:41
here is another examp tip for you look
4:43
at the answers first before reading the
4:46
questions study the answers this will
4:49
give you a sense of what to expect from
4:51
the question but it will also help you
4:53
decode what the question is really after
4:56
let's try an example here answer options
4:59
for exam are a cheet condemnation
5:03
eminent domain inverse condemnation when
5:06
you read these terms what comes to mind
5:09
H Government powers so there's a big
5:13
chance that the question revolves around
5:15
Government powers and did you notice any
5:18
yearly similar words inverse
5:21
condemnation and condemnation this
5:23
should tell you that the correct answer
5:25
is between the two of them the actual
5:28
question is what is the procedure used
5:30
by a public or private entity with the
5:33
powers granted to take privately owned
5:36
real estate B is the correct option tip
5:39
number nine never leave a single Circle
5:42
empty if you leave an empty circle it is
5:45
automatically recognized as incorrect
5:48
rather give your best attempt and guess
5:51
there is no harm in guessing especially
5:53
if you are making an informed guess by
5:56
eliminating the incorrect answers you
5:58
automatically have have a 75% chance of
6:01
picking the correct answer tip number 10
6:04
Focus don't run anyone else's race the
6:08
battle is yours and the career will be
6:10
yours too so focus on yourself after all
6:14
the biggest opponent that you will have
6:15
is the clock take the time to diligently
6:18
study and practice and when exam day
6:20
rolls around don't have a Wandering eye
6:23
focus on the test before you and not the
6:26
candidates around you if someone
6:28
finishes 5 minutes into the exam that
6:30
has no bearing on you keep your eye on
