He took my class about a year and a half or so ago and he took the four-day class and the three-day class

and he was inspired what I was able to show him in those classes and

He had the idea of maybe scratch building a Porsche But I have an extended learning student Ken Wells who's doing the

so I did a video before on this last time Spencer was up but

Since he's been up. He's been enhancing the the form here a little bit and I'll go over again what he did

So, you know, he he asked a lot of questions and saw a lot of cool stuff at the shop when he was at the class

so he went home and thought about it and This is is called Maker Place Maker Space and he down right near Washington D and there was one close to him and he went to it

and they have the ability to go in there for very little money, and they have a CNC wood router

And he went on hum 3d. It's a site in Ukraine that sells

3d models of various cars, I think they have thousands of different models, so they had this one and

He was able to take that model and enhance it a little bit and tweak it a little bit and then go to the makers space

And he routed out this MDF and he's got it mounted in these little square holes

So that it keeps her all calm and it was very simple to put it all together

Based on his CAD model and those routed MDF pieces so Then he you know he heard about what I said at the class that I really liked the wire forms more and

He had put some of the wire form elements in when he brought it up the first time to finally start making some panels on his form here and we saw as we were doing the panels at the class he saw the shortcomings of not having enough information So he went

back now and he's had about at least an eight month hiatus on this as far as coming back

But he was busy filling in all the details of the surface information

He left out a few spots here. So he's kind of doing that right now. There's a little reverse curve in that valley there

But he has all the the wire form Defining where the hood is and where the window is the front windshield the back windshield

The side windshield the vents the doors the back hatch So he's really got it well defined now and he even made little notches here so that he can do a super Laguerre system

And he's gonna buy a tube frame or build a tube frame and he's got to put a 914

4-cylinder in it Now he's up for this weekend and we're gonna try to do as many panels as possible

And I just think he done a really really nice job on it And I think a lot of people will be inspired by Spencer work and it gonna be fun watching this build This is Spencer here
