We were not able to walk the full length of El Salado Beach https://www.puertovallarta.net/what_to_do/el-salado-beach-marina-vallarta-puerto-vallarta/ only the access point, the part in front of the Golf Course, Bay View Grand and all the way to Velas Vallarta Hotel, but we will try to get a full walk done soon if we can get past the Velas Vallarta breakwater. It is bounded by luxury beachside resorts like as the Velas Vallarta, Meliá, Marriott, Mayan Palace, and Westin and also by condominiums like Bay View Grand, Portofino, Caracoles, Shangri-la and Tres Mares. Unless you stay at one of the resorts or condos, getting to the beach on foot can not be done without knowing where to go in. El Salado is sort of accessible by finding and following the street called Pasaje Bocanegra, located going out west from Calle Albatros between Calle Flamingos & Calle Gaviotas on the northern side of Marina Vallarta In the low season, Playa El Salado is a huge sandy beach with lots of space to lay down in the sun for the day. During the peak season, the beach is packed with visitors wishing to unwind or participate in fun sports such as parasailing, windsurfing, banana boating, and jet skiing. Some of the resorts provide sailboats, sailboards, and sea kayaks for rent.
