Protein gets all the hype

I didn’t grow up thinking about nutrition or protein. I just ate what I thought was “normal.” In other words high in meat, cheese, and pizza and very lowww in fiber.
I was constipated all the time and had the worst stomach pains ...oh, the joys of undiagnosed Celiac.
I didn’t know the pain and constipation wasn’t normal. I thought it was just something people didn’t talk about.
It wasn’t until I began eating more fiber rich foods in adulthood that I started to understand what my body was really craving.
But, here’s the part no one tells you. Fiber rich foods need to be introduced slloowwlllyyyy. If you go from zero to salad for every meal, your gut is going to protest - LOUDLY.
Start small. Add a little more fiber every day.
Beans, green, fruit, seeds - whatever you enjoy, let your body adjust.
Fiber changed everything for me. Without me even knowing. And it can for you too 💚
