I’ve just never been good at sticking with exercise routines. Even back in high school, I’d make excuses. Fake an injury or anything I could do to sit out of gym class. Dodgeball especially ...like seriously, let’s have the most aggressive guys in school launch balls at our heads and gut. I'm definitely not participating in that! Even now, I struggle with making a routine I’ll actually stick to. What works better for me is just sneaking in movement throughout the day. Like, calf raises while I’m washing the dishes, or a few squats or stretches while I’m cooking. It fits into my day without me having to find extra time for it because if I have to carve out time for a full workout, it’s probably not happening!
