Drunk off spicy chili peppers? ๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿ™€

๐ŸŒถ How on earth did I discover this? One time, my ex and I were coming back from a camping trip with a REALLY long drive, so I was getting super tired. Our friend had given us these super hot, really tiny peppers that he grew in his garden. I couldn't think of anything to keep myself awake, so I was like, well, I'll try chewing on the really hot pepper! The spiciness was keeping me awake, but then, after a while, I noticed, "Hey, wait a minute, I kind of feel like buzzed or something!" When I was creating Plate of Positivity, I thought about that time with the peppers years ago, and I looked it up and found that it's actually a thing. ๐Ÿ˜† Daring experiment: Ever tried nibbling on an extremely hot pepper until you felt a bit... tipsy? Just like a runner's high, there's also a chili high. When your brain gets that pain signal, it releases dopamine, the same stuff that gives you a buzz from alcohol. Cheers to spicy adventures! How to eat more chili peppers? Although it takes time to get used to them, you can start with small amounts and work your way up. Plate of Positivity is sent to everyone on my list - ๐Ÿ”— bio #hotpeppers #spicypeppers #dopamine #tipsy #foodadventures
