In this style guide, you can find what to wear with straight leg jeans in summer that looks flattering and helps you create stylish outfits for summer. Straight leg jeans are my favorite style this year because they are absolutely comfortable but at the same time it looks elevated and more structured compared to wearing skinny jeans. Below are some things I am covering in this video. ❤ What style of Tops will look great with Straight Leg Jeans: When you are wearing these jeans paying attention to what style of tops can flatter you is really important and also helps update your daily style. ❤ What style of Footwear looks flattering with Straight Leg Jeans: Shoes definitely make or break any outfit and its really important because these jeans look boxier in general and can make you look shorter and frumpier when paired with the wrong style of jeans. ❤ How you can style these jeans for different occasion: I love wearing jeans for all different occasion, so I have 12 different outfit ideas that are perfect for summer but look chic and elevated with these jeans. These outfit formulas will help you to come up with your own version of chic summer outfits with your straight leg jeans.

If you're like me who loves comfort and probably prefers it more over wearing more fitted clothes

then I'm sure you already own one of these straight leg jeans because they are extremely comfortable and

perfect denim for summer, especially because they're comfortable and more breathable. They don't hug your body that much and make you feel uncomfortable when it's really hot outside

So I absolutely love them and actually love wearing them for summer months when I'm looking to

wear. In this straight leg jeans style guide, I'm actually covering four different styles of jeans

with various length and style to show you how you can actually style each one of them

These are some of the popular styles that you would typically see in a lot of brands

So that will help you to come up with outfit ideas if you have a specific style of straight-legged jeans in your closet already

The first straight-leg jeans are Levi's ribcage straight-leg ankle jeans, which I have recently reviewed

They are ripped around their knee to show you more of a full-length straight-leg jeans and how to style them

And the last jeans are white jeans. I also wanted to share how you can style some white straight-legged jeans

And these ones are Levi's 501 jeans. The legs of these jeans are a little bit more of narrower compared to the Levi's rib cage jeans

And that is why I thought it's a perfect example to show you how you can style

a narrow straight leg jeans. I personally find that with straight leg jeans, if you wear more of

closed-toe shoes, you tend to look boxier. So showing a bit of your ankle really

elevates your outfit and actually makes it look more summery compared to wearing full

closed shoes like chunky sneakers or flats or oxfords that completely close your leg

But with cropped style of ankle-length jeans, you can get away with wearing a lot of these shoes

Some of my favorite shoes that I wear with cropped straight-leg jeans are loafer mules

I personally love loafer mules because they look slow, flattering with everything

Plus, they are so effortless and chic, as well as because they show a bit of your ankle

it looks more effortless and it actually elevates your outfit. still wearing kind of a loafer style

Now, if the loafers are not fully covering your entire feet, you can absolutely wear them as well with these cropped straight-legged jeans

because they will show a little bit of your ankle and they will elevate your outfit

If you own more of boxy-style chunky sandals or even strappy sandals where the straps are thicker you can also wear them with cropped straight jeans just because it shows more of your ankle compared to covering most part of it So it looks more flattering compared to if you have

a full-length jeans, it will look a little bit more boxier for you. If you have straight-legged jeans

that just touch your ankles, they're not completely cropped or they are not completely full-length

they're in the middle. You can actually get away with wearing many more summer shoes with

I also like platform sandals, platform as paddrels. If you already own them, these are perfect

footwear to wear with these jeans. if you want to wear or prefer to wear flats opt for a contrasting color that is going to pop out and kind of elevate your look compared to something that is going to blend in with the jeans itself and make you look boxy for full-length straight-leg jeans it is kind of a little bit tougher to find good footwear that are actually flattering if you're going to work or if you want more of an elevated style pumps are a great footwear with these jeans where

you still have the close-toe style of the footwear, but at the same time, you look more flattering

and your legs look longer as well. But for summer, I especially love spaddle wedges

because they look really, really cheap with anything you wear, but they especially flatter these particular style of jeans

But if you prefer open-toe shoes, I would highly recommend going for platform sandals

because platform sandals kind of are open-toe style, so they are adding that summary vibe to your jeans

as well as because of the height that the platform sandals have, you can elongate your legs and make it look really chic and stylish

Rather than looking boxier and shorter in your jeans, You're wearing straight leg jeans which are more of mom style straight leg jeans

These are jeans which are not as straight leg or as wide as a typical straight leg jeans are

They are more of narrower towards your ankle. They almost look like skinny jeans but they are more comfortable and more breathable than skinny jeans

So that's why that is why the name mom style. These style of jeans typically close your ankle area completely so you need to be mindful of not wearing

anything which are really chunky or boxy that is going to completely cover your legs and make you look boxier and not so flattering for summer because in summer we really want to look more fresh breathable and more summer chic compared to looking like we just came out from like a winter destination so for me footwares that kind of bring in that silhouette that narrower silhouette to my style are more flattering with these style of jeans some of my favorite footwear with these jeans would be spadrilles especially lace spadrils which are just closed in the front and the back

because they show a lot of your feet, so they kind of elevate your summer look as well as they

create that feminine touch that you want to add to these mom style jeans. It doesn't matter whether

you're wearing flats or you're wearing heels as padrilles. Both of them will look really, really chic

to show you how contrasting color can also elevate your outfit. The other go-to and my favorite footwear are slides

I literally live in them an entire summer and they're my go-to pair and I always look for jeans that I can wear with them

now let's get to tops that will look really awesome with these straight leg jeans if you're wearing a cropped

straight leg jeans i would recommend wearing something fitted or more relaxed but not really oversized top

because it is not going to look as flattering it is literally going to squish you and make you look

shorter and boxier just because the jeans are cutting you off right above you know your ankle

so it is not going to look as flattering if you wear oversize sized tops with these particular style of jeans. My favorites are just regular fit t-shirts because they are simple, straight fit, and they look more structured with these jeans, just because these jeans are more of wider leg compared to other style or even skinny jeans that we wear. The top that I'm actually wearing will also go really well with these style of jeans just because they are fitted, so they will look more of straight, and then you have the jeans
