NBC4 Helicopter Crash in L.A. Leaves at Least One Dead, Authorities Say

A helicopter crash in Chatsworth has reportedly proven to be deadly. As confirmed by NBC Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported the crash occurred just before 7 PM. The crash resulted in the deaths of three people and caused one hospitalization. The helicopter involved has been identified as NewsChopper4, operated by Angel City Air. The helicopter crashed between two commercial buildings, igniting a fire that damaged several vehicles. At the time, multiple news helicopters were covering a separate Metro bus crash in the area. Earlier, a Metro bus collided with an SUV, leading to at least two fatalities. L.A. Fire Department's Brandon Silverman stated, 'From the helicopter itself, it's pretty well destroyed.'
