Hey, we're getting right into the material. We are deciding what career and what job are right for me
0:06
how to choose a career. We're getting right into the material. We're going deep today
0:11
Let's get to the show. OK
0:23
So I have 10 steps on how to choose a career, how to choose a job and what career and job is right for me
0:32
And so it's an order. So let's start with number one and this is order of importance
0:38
Pray fast and read your Bible. And so when it comes to our purpose in life
0:44
we can find it through revelation. This is by the Holy Spirit
0:48
The Holy Spirit is called a helper, an advocate and a teacher
0:53
So how better to define and describe your own life than the author and your own traitor and maker
1:02
doing it for you. So as you um pray um seek the Lord and fast
1:09
you're actually able to hear better by reading his word. And you get the spirit of revelation because in the Bible is all the spirit
1:18
of wisdom coming from Christ Jesus being our Lord and Savior. And so as you read and pray
1:24
the Holy Spirit will tell you, hey, this is what you are made for and who you are destined to be
1:30
Ok. So number one, pray read your Bible and fast. Number two
1:34
follow grace, favor and truthfulness. So this one, I mean by grace and favor
1:41
we have natural talents and we have natural abilities, right? And so we also have supernatural abilities and talents
1:49
And so when you are following that, if you follow the streamline of success
1:55
this is most likely what you are destined and made to do
1:59
Um example, I will watch TV, and movies and I will always be like
2:06
hey, this could be better if you fix it in this manner
2:10
right? And so if you find where your office is when it comes to Ephesians
2:16
uh for when it comes to pastors, teachers, evangelists, apostles and prophets
2:22
this is what you are made for. So this is what you are naturally gifted supernaturally and regularly
2:30
Right. Right. Number three. Finding a purpose and career, find the meaning of your name
2:37
What book is written about you and your life in the text
2:41
So this is in searching scriptures, but also searching your own life. All right
2:45
So in the Bible name changes are very important. So you actually have covenant promise and Testament in your name
2:53
So example, my name is Winston. Winston means Joy Stone. Even before I started my channel
3:00
I was doing why? Because it was already destined in me He has predestined us to good works to fulfill and will this in us
3:09
Also? My middle name means Avery. Avery means wise and counselor. And what do I do in all my videos I teach and counsel the
3:18
word of God to people. So after you look up your name, um see the Hebrew meaning the Aramaic
3:24
meaning in the Greek. Um because names hold weight, God already knew whoever name your parents are going to name you
3:30
OK. Number four, serve, give and help someone who knows their purpose and develop a skill
3:39
set. OK. So the Bible says that the Lord loves a cheerful giver
3:44
Uh first and foremost, our first ministry is to the church. So make sure that you are planted in a good and sound Bible believing
3:51
church body. And as you begin to serve, you will actually develop a skill set in your service
3:58
All right. And um it says in the Bible, those who sow sparingly shall reap sparingly and those who sow a lot will reap a
4:07
lot. So when you are actually serving the Lord in church or Bible say
4:12
or um discipleship groups, you'll begin to get leadership roles. And as you begin to have personal interactions with people
4:21
you'll see what gifts are in the inside of you. So, no
4:25
don't neglect um the small things because all hard work yields a fruit or in a harvest
4:32
OK. Number five, follow divine connections and God ordained relationships. OK? So every person that's
4:42
in your life is predestined to be there. Um But also giving Godly wisdom to you
4:48
test every spirit if it be of God. So God is genuine and he has the authentic
4:52
but the devil will send in a disingenuous and encounter, right? So not every connection is um placed there by God because we don't wrestle
5:01
with flesh and blood, but we war in the spirit, um supernatural things
5:06
However, there are divine connections when it comes to people coming into your path
5:11
And in short, a blessing is just a person in disguise. And so all these um prayers that we are praying
5:19
we have to have the spirit of revelation and wisdom to be like, hey
5:23
yeah, God works miracles, but he also works naturally through people. So um make sure that you are stewarding your time
5:31
money and relationships well, um because they are God ordained and God blessed
5:35
OK. Number six, don't be lazy. The Bible says that all hard work yields a profit but um mere talk leads
5:44
to poverty. OK. So yes, we pray. But James one in the book of James says like
5:51
hey, I will show you your faith by your works. So if you believe that you are supposed to be an entrepreneur or something creative
5:58
or something, not in the mainstream, you cannot be called and lazy
6:04
You have to work and go. And so yes, you can believe something as a God but make sure it's not just a hobby
6:13
make sure that you have mission and vision. Um And it says like
6:17
hey, um, write the vision and make it plain that those who follow you can follow after
6:23
So if you truly believe that God created you to do this stuff
6:28
actually put some merit and some fruit and work ethic behind whatever you're trying to do
6:35
don't just be in talk actually have action behind it. Ok? So number seven
6:41
it says to seek Godly counsel. So if you actually don't know what your skill sets are or you're gifting or what your passion about
6:50
that's a great way to follow. Um What you think is your um calling
6:55
what grieves your heart. What do you become impassioned about? Ask other people what you get impassioned about Godly counsel when
7:04
it comes to your pastor, spiritual leadership and um Eden supernatural prophets that will come upon your path and just say a pre prophetic
7:14
word. But naturally your friendships, your relationships and people you have Bible study with
7:19
allow them to speak prophetically into your life. But make sure um it comes from wise counsel
7:27
A lot of people just give you ideas, but if they're not God ordained, it doesn't matter
7:33
Alright. So number eight, make a decision in faith and commit your work unto the Lord and do everything in his
7:42
name and in his glory. Ok. So in the book of James
7:47
it says that anything not done in faith is sin. Um Proverbs 16 says
7:53
commit your ways unto the Lord and he will establish your works
7:57
And then first Corinthians 10 says, um do everything to the glory of God
8:04
OK? So if you're a gender, if you're a teacher, whatever you do
8:08
do it in faith and move sometimes um we are so burdened to try to get it right
8:13
We don't do anything at all. Hey, how about you just say like, hey, Lord, I wouldn't do this um until you say otherwise
8:20
And as I commit to your work, you will establish me and um God's sovereign
8:25
He's in and around and through everything. So he will adjust us just like GPS God's positioning system
8:32
OK? Number nine, go out into all the world and make disciples
8:38
This is the Great Commission of Matthew 28. We all literally have the same purpose
8:44
We are called to preach the gospel to all people and all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father
8:51
the Son and the Holy Spirit. So if you are doing nothing else
8:56
tell somebody about Jesus, tell someone um your testimony and um preach the word and teach them the word of God
9:04
So they um just know who He is and what you have is divine appointment um coming out by you just doing
9:13
um the minimum. So don't think that there is anything small, but the Lord says that he who is a
9:21
that ST steward over little will be trusted with much. So, yo go out and do this um when it comes to the works that
9:30
you do and then number 10 start and don't quit. This is the most important part because and um when we get to heaven
9:39
the Bible says that Jesus will say to us, hey, um well done
9:44
you uh you good and faithful servant. So a lot of times the excitement of starting is greater than
9:54
the fulfillment of execution. God is not gonna be like, hey, good job of starting
10:01
He says, well done, well finished. Um you good and faithful servant
10:06
OK. But he says, I never knew you, you workers of iniquity
10:11
So you continued in and not to um fulfill your promises. It's a sin of unbelief
10:17
All right. So that's how you find your purpose and your careers through that with 10 steps
