How do you avoid burnout mentally
0:02
There are ways I've made my own protocol to follow when things get too much and cleanse myself with bad energy to revive my motivation
0:09
I think dyspraxia affects bernet more often and finding ways of coping as well with it
0:16
So here are some burnout tactics I use to be able to overcome my struggle with it
0:21
So when it comes on to bettering out, I think the reason why it happens most often is because people nowadays we do too much
0:28
too much. So for example, it might be really good at one thing, but you might be able to be
0:33
pulling in different directions or got too much to do, whether it's with work or with friends
0:37
and family or with school. And because there's too much being piled on, and I struggled
0:41
this with at school, like for example, I remember when I was doing, I think it's a work shop
0:46
or something, you know, where you would do woodwork in school. I think it's called, anyway
0:53
no one mind their name. It's basically, when I was given to work by one of the teachers
0:57
I got way too much to do, so I ended up spending all night doing it, and then I ended up and not even actually handing the work, even the homework
1:06
and I think the reason I did that was because of too anxious and scared, not the teacher just because it was just in general
1:12
and I just didn't really want to, I guess, cope with it, so to speak
1:17
And that is kind of like an example of burnout. I did too much work at school and actually just kind of a little bit of difficult
1:24
of being able to balance with different subjects. And you can start out and see that as you get older as well
1:28
Like, for example, I've got work to do, but then I've also got like my videos and then I've got my work out to do
1:35
And there's lots of things to do, especially today, especially on Monday where I'm very busy
1:40
I actually being able to get all the things I need to do done
1:44
And I think that Ben when you will start to feel it but it will happen over time slowly And then you will start to feel a bit drained you be less motivated And you have all this bad energy you won know what to do with or be able to cleanse it from your body
1:59
And you can actually do this by doing a detox or taking a break for a day. I know it sounds very simple and kind of like a very common sense answer
2:06
But when you actually go for, for example, like a walk or a big walk, and not just talking just outside down your street
2:12
And even though that would help, I do think like a proper walk, I've actually just walking around the wood
2:17
it can be for like only two one or two hours and obviously you'll get
2:20
this thing at the back of your head where like oh it has been I've got stuff to do
2:25
but this is kind of like a Zen practice as well you're going for a walk but you're focused on the present
2:31
you're walking and you're processing other things and when you do that your brain and your mind
2:36
feels a lot less stress because you're kind of just taking a break of things and you're just away from it
2:41
you're not away with the things that cause you stress and because of this you'll be able to detoxify mental
2:46
I've actually been able to, and not only when you do this, you'll be able to do the things when you come back 10 times more better
2:53
Even if you do feel a little bit of dreams sat there and doing work or whatever, you'll be able to just have a fresh mind of actually being able to do this
3:00
and you'll be a lot more creative, a lot more energetic about doing this. Well, maybe not energetic because I've done this while I've actually come back for a walk
3:06
and not being able to do the things I want to do or the motivation. But I know that it definitely improves my mentality of it, at least
3:14
because I'll be able to have a positive outlook on being able to be able to broccoli. to do the things I do, even if they are causing me stress
3:20
Another thing that I think helps is something to do with fasting. I think fasting really helps out, kind of cleanses the body
3:26
I think it's also a good spiritual practice as well. So, for example, in other religions you see them when they do fasting
3:32
So, for example, they'll fast for like a couple of days or even like a month. And I think when it comes down to it, I think fasting is a really good way of actually
3:39
cleansing bad energy and also sort of bad parts I also talked about this in details when I talked about fasting where it cleanses certain parts of the body and actually being able to experience the fasting And it actually really good because you feel a lot more better
3:53
And then when you get food, it tastes so good. It tastes amazing. You will really enjoy that food that are taking that first bite of whatever meal you're eating will actually taste a lot more better because you've stayed off being able to actually eat for like a couple of hours or maybe a few days
4:10
and because of this you'll feel a lot more better when you do this. It's kind of like cleansing a part of you that is really kind of like a powerful thing to do
4:19
I think when it comes out to dyspraxia, I think you're actually being able to actually
4:23
you know, when it comes on to it, I remember all the things that will cause me stress. And I think my dispatcher affecting that, especially when it came down to not being focusing and getting the things done
4:31
I would feel very stress and kind of doing things and thinking is off the spot as well
4:35
kind of like lying to teachers. And obviously it sounds a bit unrelated. but when it comes down to actually being able to, you know, having that quick, fast mental function or a high mental function of, especially when it comes down to something like with the spraxia, I do think that it is really important to actually be able to focus on what you want to achieve or at least when someone is giving you an instruction, you want to be able to focus
4:59
So I do think when you actually do, I guess, kind of like a detox or you go on actually being able to avoid the burn out, you be able to
5:08
continue doing your work long term as well. And you also be able to revive yourself
5:14
It's kind of how you re-event yourself and actually being able to, okay, even though I've got this
5:19
you know, I've had this massive break. I actually be able to come back to come back. It's kind of like with, like, comedians
5:24
you might have not seen him for like years. Like, for example, I haven't seen Russell Howard in years
5:28
But then a couple of years ago, I actually just saw him doing some comedy sketches for
5:33
or him doing some comedy for Comedy Central and I think it was like really interesting because it would come up with that new material because he would always use his family as material to kind of like come up with all these crazy stuff
5:46
his family comes out with. And over the years I think that it's someone
5:50
who can re-event himself. It's what you see with comedians. You see them over the years of actually them telling jokes
5:56
whether they're good or bad jokes. It kind of depends on that how they sort of take something and sort of put their own spin
6:02
and make it funny. And it is kind of hard to do that but you have to come up with a material constantly
6:07
constantly, constantly. I remember actually seeing a video by Kevin Hart, he actually talked
6:11
about this in one of his interviews actually being able how he reinvented himself
6:15
and that is kind of like a thing he does where he has to
6:19
keep constantly coming up with new material and it can be very hard to actually
6:23
be a comic, especially when I was reading about Russell Howard as well, going back to him
6:28
I actually even read his biography. I actually have his book on my bookshelf and he talked about
6:33
how hard it is to be a comic and not just doing that but also doing different types of things as well on TV like comedy
6:39
or maybe like he goes travelling and he makes jokes that is also another good way of actually reinventing it
6:45
and then he can use that to talk about his day that he had
6:49
or he can use it on one of his shows which is like a really good idea to reinvent yourself
6:54
and using that type of thing that you can use to actually avoid burnout is a lot more better
7:00
of an idea as well so anyway hope you you enjoy this video about how to avoid burn out and why it happens and what you can
7:07
you do to actually do. Be able to avoid being able to burn out via fasting, long warts
7:12
or being able to reinvent yourself by doing these types of things. And as well, if you
7:17
click on these videos here where I've actually talked about barenote and also being able to focus
7:21
better a lot of distractions, talk about them a little bit more in detail. And as well, if you
7:26
go and in the description below, I actually have a Discord server, we're actually talking about self-reprovement a little bit more in detail as well
