The Mercado Central Valencia is probably the most visited attraction in Valencia. Over 1000 stalls offering everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, not to mention meat, fish, nuts, and cheese. It is quite impressive and if you are a foodie, you can spend an awfully long time just wandering about. The architecture of the building is also amazing, a Goth modern style that is distinctively Valenciano. Here's a look. Lately, the fishmongers have become very snooty and no longer allow pictures to be taken in most of the stalls :-(.
