Peniscola Valencia: Visit the Gibraltar Of Valencia

A visit to Peniscola Valencia, a city in the province often referred to as the "city in the sea" or the Gibraltar of Valencia because of the 13th-century fortress that is the Peñiscola Castle. A two-hour train ride from the Estacion del Nord in a regional train brought us to Benicarlo from where you would need a cab or bus (when they run in normal times, pre covid). A lovely beach town that is worthy of a visit. #peniscola #valencia
