Sep 1, 2024
Ingredients:
36 Oreo cookies
8 ounces (226g) cream cheese, softened
16 ounces (454g) semi-sweet baking chocolate or candy melts
Instructions:
Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, you can put the cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended.
Form Balls: Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Chill: Freeze the balls for about 10-15 minutes to firm them up.
Melt Chocolate: While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Dip in Chocolate: Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the coated balls back on the wax paper.
Decorate: If desired, sprinkle with crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or drizzle with white chocolate for decoration.
Chill Again: Refrigerate the Oreo balls for about 1 hour or until the chocolate is set.
Enjoy your homemade Oreo balls! They make a perfect treat for any occasion123.
