not very many people do like in
0:05
intensive eight weeks well I think her
0:08
legs might be quite a key over the next
0:10
two weeks gonna be intense amounts of
0:13
parkour training the worst a week to do
0:15
life will be a massive shop for him
0:18
don't think he realizes where he's put
0:20
himself into who's gonna come down yeah
0:33
I think so my name is Karen and I am
0:48
undertaking this rock climbing eight
0:50
weeks on the challenge my name is Alex
0:54
and I am doing figure skating my name is
0:57
Steven and I am gonna be taking part in
1:00
powerful and freerunning
1:02
my name is putter and I'm doing we're
1:04
tight we're going to try and put in
1:08
through every single experience than
1:09
having the rim which is getting moving
1:11
your chest punching the face kicked in
1:13
the thigh this is something that I've
1:15
never done before I've got a lot to
1:18
learn
1:19
I'm not ready for this absolutely not
1:22
my hands are shaking I'm real nervous I
1:25
think I'm ready
1:29
how does he make this look so effortless
1:32
they use your arm to push that hip
1:44
Oh on the corner mission success put his
1:56
first session didn't go very well he was
1:59
sick which is normal
2:01
sometimes he's got a very very long way
2:04
to go but I'm happy with this
2:06
progression yeah every beginner is
2:09
always very nervous when you try
2:10
something that you've never done before
2:12
my advice is just to just take it easy
2:15
you know take it slowly figure I mean
2:21
what's wrong what you doing
2:29
it's nice to see an improvement
2:31
that wouldn't really talk about travel
2:36
parkour is so much more intense than
2:39
what I thought it was ever gonna be I
2:40
didn't sign up to kind of give up after
2:42
week one I'm gonna push myself as hard
2:45
as I can oh my do it well you're not
2:49
doing but I'll try get fast fast fast
2:53
left right there you go
2:57
[Music]
3:07
she'd help yeah I think so when you
3:24
get up there it's like Manas just go out
3:26
the window
3:27
I say tree talking head now what if I
3:30
fall your fault no surprise I'm not
3:33
annoyed at me fifty I shall wait him a
3:35
lot
3:38
I am hard on him because it's a combat
3:41
boy he's gonna fight somebody and it's
3:43
gonna hurt I'm there like watching a
3:46
Cree - i watch kickboxer motivational
3:49
video that confident that watching
3:50
training videos like wait
3:53
[Music]
3:57
my arms are not working
4:00
[Music]
4:03
after someone who never trained arms
4:06
before ever
4:07
definitely
4:10
give the move ago if you fall off you
4:12
fall off it doesn't really matter you're
4:14
on a rope
4:15
you've taken loads of Falls now falling
4:17
is all part of climbing well then I've
4:22
got you dude she's doing really well so
4:27
yeah it's surprising she's working
4:30
really hard yeah I started giving me a
4:32
score out of 10 now each time I go
4:34
around
4:35
so yeah the highest we've got so far is
4:37
an eight but unfortunately it does go
4:40
down to a four sometimes as well so what
4:42
I just need to work on now is just like
4:44
consistently doing it well okay what am
4:49
I did
4:52
today I'll say no or not scared anymore
4:54
I've surprised myself and now actually
4:58
wanted
5:02
keep your hands up I always keep your
5:04
throwing punches and leave him down and
5:06
he just keeps walking me and hitting me
5:07
and I probably got a few bruises in my
5:09
face leg
5:15
and
5:17
[Music]
5:23
[Music]
5:31
yeah
5:37
the worst case scenario happened in this
5:39
case and unfortunately there was the
5:42
freak accident and which which happens
5:44
during account when he's when he's 100%
5:47
he should come back take his time
5:52
just like my scan obviously it's taking
5:54
a few hours but finally find out and
5:57
I've actually got a fracture on my foot
5:58
which is kind of putting me out of
6:00
action for the next probably like two
6:03
months or so so it's pretty frustrating
6:04
because what loads of effort in sits
6:06
challenge and now it feels like is just
6:09
it's gone so
6:15
[Music]
6:28
[Music]
6:38
hi
6:40
[Music]
7:20
[Music]
7:22
like done before you're gonna freak out
7:27
totally about height like way higher
7:30
than I expected yeah way high it I'll do
7:32
it again yeah it's gonna fit
7:39
it feels loose carry the height but it's
7:42
no different it's one step off the other
7:44
just carry on take that deep breath
7:46
anything
7:47
no it's uneasy yeah I know but you did
7:50
really well yeah
7:51
enjoying yourself
7:54
no joke
7:55
[Music]
7:59
it
8:04
[Music]
8:18
[Music]
8:22
okay
8:31
done
8:35
easy yeah you Ramallah
8:40
well done
8:42
[Music]
8:45
quite the best time Vasanta it's like
8:50
double what I've ever done before so
8:52
yeah pretty proud of us a really proud
8:56
pretty shocked that she did get to the
8:58
top but yet very very proud
9:02
[Music]
9:35
[Music]
10:03
[Music]
10:13
I don't really know how to summarize how
10:25
I feel I'm going emotional again
10:27
ridiculous it's so bad and yeah
10:36
God taking part of this Chinese been one
10:40
of the best things I've ever done
10:42
yeah it's challenged me like mentally
10:46
physically it's been amazing I think
10:49
today the final routine went really well
10:52
for Alice it was a difficult challenge
10:56
and she just did her best and she was
11:00
working really hard every day she's
11:03
improved so much since the first day I'm
11:04
really proud of her
11:08
I was really disappointed myself because
11:10
I got injured or secondly my mentality
11:12
just completely switched from being on a
11:14
high high high like positivity ladder to
11:17
just dropping straight down to like
11:18
complete negativity was just how I felt
11:21
I did not realize them to be that
11:22
intense whatsoever I thought it'll be a
11:25
breeze
11:26
and I was completely wrong so the me
11:31
showed a lot of heart he was a fast
11:32
learner and I would much rather have a
11:35
student like that then and someone who
11:37
doesn't give me a hundred percent
11:40
annoyingly I didn't make it to the end
11:42
of the eight weeks but still to come
11:44
away with what I have achieved and how
11:46
far I've come as part of the overall
11:48
challenge has been incredible and I've
11:51
liked say I've thoroughly enjoyed every
11:53
every every second with I don't and I'm
11:56
so pleased with what I've come away with
11:58
from ill
11:59
overall over the eight-week challenge I
12:01
would say Steve did quite well until the
12:03
point where he injured himself like he
12:05
was progressing week on week by always
12:07
tried to push him like confidence-wise
12:09
cuz ups why I feel like you need it well
12:11
well yeah I'd say like some of the
12:13
treatments are made in such a short
12:14
space of time proud to see it I say I
12:18
can't do things that I actually can do
12:20
and so I should probably believe in
12:22
myself well I'm just a lot more
12:25
confident now yeah once if I see what
12:28
I'll be back in here again
