Simple and easy Braised Pork Belly Recipe is a popular dish in China. There are so many different versions and twists based on the original. I love it braised with soy sauce and the flavours will develop when you simmer the dish.
I believe the original is from Shang Hai. I honestly do not know if my version is authentic or original or not, but I just have to say this is super tender, so delicious, and comforting!
We love it so much especially when the skin and fat become gelatinous and easily melt in your mouth!
