Just as I was passing the Holiday Inn Express Blonk Street I noticed 2 fire engines in the car park. So I had a closer look. Since I was last here not so long ago they've erected fences and put the flood defense barrier in place to stop the public right of way through the hotel car park. I will be looking for articles regarding this so I can hopefully post an update on what has occurred here.
