1:30
Jimmy Donaldson was born on May 7th
1:33
1998 in Greenville North
1:37
Carolina he grew up in a modest
1:40
family as a child Jimmy enjoyed simple
1:44
things like playing video games riding
1:47
bikes and watching YouTube
1:50
videos he loved how people could use a
1:53
camera and an idea to make fun and
1:57
videos this made him think
2:02
too when Jimmy was 13 he decided to
2:07
dream he used a basic microphone and an
2:10
old computer to start making videos for
2:15
channel at first his videos were about
2:19
games he shared tips reviews and ideas
2:25
games but not many people watched his
2:28
videos some times only 10 or 20
2:32
views this made him feel
2:35
sad his classmates teased him and asked
2:43
stop I'll keep going he told
2:47
himself he thought each video was a step
2:51
dream Jimmy spent hours watching other
2:55
creators he studied how they made their
2:58
videos learning about about editing
3:03
thumbnails every night he wrote down
3:06
ideas to make his videos
3:08
better at first Jimmy felt shy talking
3:13
camera he worried that no one cared
3:17
said but over time he became more
3:21
confident even when his videos didn't do
3:24
well he saw each one as a chance to
3:28
learn I was wasn't good at it he later
3:32
said but I loved doing
3:34
it I knew if I kept learning something
3:39
happen Jimmy kept working
3:42
hard he focused on small successes like
3:46
getting one new subscriber or a nice
3:49
comment he taught himself how to edit
3:53
videos he tried to be funny and told
3:57
stories each time his videos got a
4:01
better the journey was slow but Jimmy
4:07
succeed he kept improving step by
4:11
step his dream which started in a small
4:14
bedroom was growing into something
4:17
bigger Jimmy's hard work and positive
4:20
attitude were building a path to inspire
4:24
Millions for years Jimmy worked hard on
4:27
his YouTube channel but didn't didn't
4:31
success he made video after video
4:34
putting in a lot of time and
4:37
effort but the results were
4:40
disappointing few people watched and no
4:45
work most people would have quit but
4:49
didn't he saw each failure as a chance
4:55
2017 after almost 5 years of trying
5:01
changed Jimmy had a crazy idea what if I
5:07
camera it sounded silly to most people
5:13
try the challenge was very
5:16
hard it took over 40 hours to count from
5:21
100,000 Jimmy sat in front of his camera
5:25
counting out loud the entire
5:27
time he got very tired but didn't give
5:31
up when he finished he uploaded the
5:35
video to his surprise it became a big
5:39
hit millions of people watched it they
5:43
couldn't believe someone would do
5:45
something so difficult just for a
5:49
video people left comments like who
5:52
would even think of this and this guy's
5:55
crazy but I love it Jimmy realized
5:59
something important people enjoyed
6:01
watching his hard work and unique
6:04
ideas the success of counting to 100,000
6:10
life it wasn't just about getting
6:14
views Jimmy learned that people loved
6:17
videos that were original and showed
6:20
effort they wanted to see things that
6:24
exciting with this new understanding
6:27
Jimmy started making more video with big
6:31
challenges he read the entire dictionary
6:34
watched paint dry and said the same word
6:40
times the ideas were simple but they
6:43
needed a lot of patience and
6:45
effort people loved his videos because
6:50
inspiring the success of these videos
6:56
confidence he kept making creative and
7:00
content he showed that you don't need
7:02
expensive tools or a big budget to
7:06
succeed what matters is creativity hard
7:12
different this was the beginning of
7:14
Jimmy's journey to becoming Mr Beast one
7:17
of the most famous YouTubers in the
7:20
world as Jimmy's Channel became more
7:23
popular he started earning
7:26
money at first he made just enough to
7:31
videos but as his audience grew he
7:34
earned more from ads and
7:37
sponsorships Jimmy could have used the
7:39
money for himself buying fancy
7:43
things but he had a different idea what
7:46
if I use this money to help
7:49
others Jimmy put his idea into action
7:54
giveaway he took $10,000 in cash found a
7:58
homeless man man and gave it to him the
8:02
man was shocked and began to cry with
8:06
happiness Jimmy filmed the moment and
8:10
channel the response was
8:13
huge viewers loved the video and praised
8:18
kindness many asked him to do
8:21
more that video changed Jimmy's
8:25
Channel he realized his videos could do
8:30
entertain they could spread kindness
8:33
make people happy and Inspire others to
8:37
too after that Jimmy started making
8:41
giving a big part of his
8:43
videos he gave thousands of dollars in
8:46
tips to delivery drivers and
8:49
waiters he paid off people's bills and
8:54
strangers his giveaways became bigger
9:00
he surprised Uber drivers with new cars
9:03
and handed out briefcases full of money
9:07
people but for Jimmy it wasn't just
9:11
money it was about bringing happiness
9:16
others one of his most famous videos
9:19
showed him giving a fully furnished
9:23
need in another he bought all the food
9:26
in a grocery store and gave it to family
9:31
help sometimes his kindness was smaller
9:36
powerful in one video he gave $11,000 to
9:40
a fast food worker who was having a bad
9:43
day the workers's reaction crying and
9:47
thanking him touched millions of
9:51
viewers as these videos became popular
9:56
others fans started sharing their own
10:00
giving Jimmy's kindness showed that
10:03
generosity can spread from person to
10:07
person his viewers didn't just watch his
10:10
videos they felt a part of his
10:12
mission for Jimmy the goal wasn't just
10:17
money it was to create moments of Hope
10:20
and show that small acts of kindness can
10:25
difference his generosity wasn't just
10:27
what he was known for it became his
10:31
purpose as Jimmy earned more money his
10:34
ideas to help people grew
10:37
bigger giving away money was great but
10:41
more he saw his platform as a way to
10:44
solve problems and help in new and
10:48
ways one of Jimmy's most amazing
10:51
projects was a video where he opened a
10:57

10:59
free the store was full of food clothes
11:06
items families who needed help could
11:08
take whatever they wanted without paying
11:11

11:14
showed how much it meant to them viewers
11:18
all over the world loved the video and
11:20
were touched by Jimmy's
11:23
kindness Jimmy didn't stop there in
11:27
another video he gave a house to a
11:30
family who had no stable place to
11:33
live when the family saw the house they
11:36
couldn't believe it they cried with
11:40
joy this moment showed how big an impact
11:44
kindness can have on people's
11:46

12:12

12:35
and gave him what he needed to start
12:37

12:52
videos became more than
12:55
entertainment they inspired millions of
12:57
people to think about how they could

need Jimmy's kindness didn't stop with
13:18
people as his audience grew he started

16:31
possible when people work together for a
16:34
goal Jimmy's story isn't just about
16:38

happening second Jimmy shows us a new
17:35

better Jimmy's story challenges us to
18:08
think about how we can

18:18
like helping a neighbor or donating to a
18:21
good cause can grow into something
18:24
bigger Jimmy's life proves that even
18:27
tiny actions can create big
18:30
changes finally Jimmy shows that anyone
18:35
others you don't need lots of money or a
18:38
big audience to make a
18:41
difference it can start with something
18:43
small like planting a tree volunteering
18:47
or being kind to someone in
18:49
need projects like # team trees and #
18:54
