Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty of running a multimillion-dollar wire fraud scheme using fake transfers and his celebrity status. Their scams included promises of luxury items and fake Justin Bieber endorsements. In 2024, a SWAT raid exposed their operation, and by March 2025, both were convicted on five counts of fraud. Sentencing is set for July, with each count carrying up to 20 years.
