However, its awards-season run was far less successful, as it failed to secure a single Oscar nomination. ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ received the longest ovation of them all in 2025, lasting between 22 and 24 minutes. Kaouther Ben Hania’s Gaza-set drama inspired chants of “free Palestine” throughout the venue, making it one of the most emotional and iconic moments in festival history.
