Macklemore Announces ‘Free Palestine’ Tour After Ed Sheeran Feud
Sep 25, 2026
US rapper Macklemore has announced a series of European concerts called the Free Palestine Tour after being dropped as Ed Sheeran’s support act over pro-Palestinian comments.
The rapper announced the tour in an Instagram post, writing: “So, as you all know, my schedule has freed up a bit.”
Macklemore said he had spent the last week reaching out to artists who have “used their stages to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people” to gather a lineup for his tour.
The tour is set to begin in Dublin, Ireland, in October 2026, with all proceeds going to organizations working in support of Palestine, according to Macklemore’s announcement.
Macklemore, 43, was dropped as a support act on Sheeran’s Loop Tour after sharing pro-Palestine comments during a show in New Jersey.
Sheeran’s other support acts, including his own backing band, also pulled out in solidarity after Macklemore was removed from the tour.
