Miley Cyrus opened up about her belief in aliens during a 2020 interview with Interview magazine, where she described an alleged UFO encounter in San Bernardino, California. The singer said she saw a glowing, flying object hovering above the road while driving at night and claimed several other cars stopped to look at it too. Although she later joked that drugs may have influenced what she saw, the experience left her convinced that it was real. Jaden Smith has been one of the most vocal celebrities to express belief in extraterrestrials. In a 2013 interview with Wonderland magazine, he said his belief was reinforced after a conversation with former President Barack Obama. Smith claimed Obama told him he could neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, which Smith interpreted as proof of alien life. Obama has addressed the topic more cautiously in recent years, saying that while the universe is so vast that alien life is statistically likely, he saw no evidence of extraterrestrials visiting Earth during his presidency. Although he did acknowledge that unidentified aerial phenomena are still being investigated by the US government.
