channel. Today we will be taking a look at how you can get started with building your own booking

system using Shopify, so let's get into it. Now Shopify is a very easy to use platform when it

comes to e-commerce, but if you're someone that also takes bookings, let's say you're a luxury

boutique and you take bookings for your clients, then maybe using a e-commerce platform might seem

difficult to you because you have a bunch of different things you want to schedule, you want

bookings, you want scheduling, and Shopify does not seem, you know, at first when you're starting

to use it, you might feel like, hey, can I really build an appointment booking using a platform that

is mainly used for e-commerce? Well, don't worry, you can actually do that and it's rather simple

as well. So all you have to do is, you can see this is my pre-existing Shopify store, and all I'm

going to do is I'm going to log on to my store over here, and after that we're going to go into settings

Once you go into settings, or you can just go into your apps and sales channels, and now you can click

on Shopify app store or just directly go to the Shopify app store, totally up to you, but once you

are in the Shopify app store, you're going to search for bookings. Now once you search for bookings

you can see there are a bunch of different applications available to set up bookings. Now the

one that I recommend and use is appointment booking by Oppointo, whatever you might want to call it

but I like to call it Oppointo, but you can see over here this is a very sleek and easy to use

platform, and it is available for free. So you're going to click on add app, and this application

will ask you for permissions obviously, so we're just going to click on add app, click on install

application over here. Now once this has been added, you will be able to see this on the left

side of your screen. I'm just going to pin this to my navigation because I want to easily be able

to find this. Now after that, depending on what you want to set up, so we want to set up a appointment

and booking schedule. Now we can click on appointments over here to set up what kind of

appointments there might be, or what kind of sessions people can select. So first off, you're

going to set up your timing, then you can add the product by which people can use to book you. So

for this, you can choose to create a specific product, but I'm just going to add product to

Appointo. I'm just using a sample product. The one that I actually recommend is to go on ahead

and create a simple product that is blank, a sample product, and then people can book you

there. Then the variance, so how long would a booking for this kind of meeting be? Let's say it

would be one hour and 20 minutes, then invitees can schedule within three days, zero hours, then

show available start times in the increments of zero hour and 30 minutes, so zero hour and 10 minutes

Then you also have your meeting details, where your meetings will be taking place, if it's a physical

location, your boutique, your store address, whatever it might be, then you can enter a note as well

Then you also have your weekly timings. Now after that, you're just going to click on next over here

and then we're just going to click on done. Now after that, you can choose the different plans

that are available for Appointo. So starting at their pro plan, starting at $10 per month, you have

unlimited products, email notifications, and so on and so forth, and you can also try their free plan

with one notification and admin rescheduling, cancellation, book set times, and much more

So we're just going to continue on with their free plan and now you can see I have added the

application. So now I can click on manage to manage how this is going to look like

Now if I click on manage, so we're just going to close this over here like so, so I'm just going to

take a look at our Shopify store. Going back to our store now and taking a look at our appointments

scheduling to, but you can see over here we're just going to click on manage and you can choose if

it's going to be a single day booking or a monthly day booking, then you can click on skip payment for

this product because as I said, if you guys are going to set this up as your actual booking, you're

going to just add this to a sample one and we can click on show and then people can get all of these

hours. You can also customize these hours as you might wish, you can also add date overrides where

let's say you have a working holiday or you're just taking a day off, then for that you have

overrides as well. You can allow customers to reschedule if you want, you can allow customers to

cancel bookings, these are premium features but you still can do them. Then you have the current

month or manual date, how you want your customers to see this in their calendar. Now we can just

save and for every variation of the product there are going to be different options. So people can

select any one, then you can see instead of getting a buy now button because I removed the payment

option, now people are just going to get a schedule your time button and then this will load up the

calendar. Once the calendar is loaded you can see all of the available times that are available

then people can confirm the time, enter their email name and phone number and get a appointment

with you. So that is how simple and easy it is to set up your appointments and bookings

Then once you have your appointments set up you will be able to see all of them in your booking

section over here. If you have pre-existing bookings you can export them via csv or import

them via csv and you also have manual bookings if a person has booked you via a phone call you can

enter their manual booking over here. Next up you have your calendar so you can manage all of your

bookings and find them in a orderly fashion. You also have your dashboard to manage everything and

take a look at all the time, the total generated revenue, the total bookings and the upcoming

bookings and past bookings and you also have some graphs to represent the amount of money you might

have generated. Then it just goes to your plans and settings, your teams, if you have you know

multiple different people working you can also set up teams and your subscriptions so you can

as well. But you can see over here it's a very simple and easy to use platform. Now continuing

on over here we can see that below that we have settings and in your settings you can actually go
