hello and uh welcome back uh to our
0:03
study of the book of hebrews
0:05
today we're going to conclude chapter 12
0:07
and um we're going to look at verses 18
0:10
to 29.
0:11
in our last uh study we talked about
0:15
our response to the to the
0:17
discipline of god how are we to respond
0:20
when god disciplines us and the book of
0:22
hebrews in chapter 12 gave us some
0:24
pretty
0:25
good points as to what we ought to do
0:28
when god disciplines us because from the
0:31
get-go the writer has been saying that
0:33
god discipline us for our good that we
0:35
may share in his holiness so he's tell
0:37
us he's telling us to
0:39
to not despise the discipline of the
0:41
lord and he uses the book of proverbs to
0:44
admonish us and to tell his original
0:46
readers listen when when you're being
0:48
tested you'll be you're being tried um
0:51
by life difficulties uh don't dread it
0:55
or don't despise it but embrace it
0:57
because god is treating you as sons or
1:00
daughters
1:00
basically god disciplines whom he loves
1:04
so therefore when we have been
1:05
disciplined in our lives we need to
1:08
embrace it that's the whole point and
1:10
again going back to the book of hebrews
1:12
now the entire book was written
1:15
to basically show the supremacy of the
1:17
new covenant under on under christ and
1:20
what christ has done
1:22
for his people how he saved them from
1:24
their sins he came so that they may have
1:26
life and have it more abundantly so the
1:29
writer since the beginning has been
1:30
trying to show that the old covenant was
1:34
giving way to the new covenant in the
1:36
sense that the old was supposed to point
1:38
us to the new basically the law
1:40
of moses the prophets and everything
1:43
that was written before the advent of
1:44
christ all was written so that people
1:47
could look to the christ because when he
1:49
died on the cross he breathed his last
1:51
and said it is finished basically by
1:54
dying on the cross he atoned and made
1:57
full payment for the sins of the whole
1:59
world those who accept and receive this
2:02
uh gift of salvation
2:04
and are called children of god and they
2:06
are not endured with the holy spirit of
2:08
god which is guaranteeing what is to
2:10
come which is the kingdom of god that's
2:12
going to come when jesus comes back now
2:15
in chapter 12 he's been shown since the
2:18
beginning he's been telling the people
2:20
listen you need to look to the christ
2:22
you need to stop practicing some of the
2:24
old things that you've been doing and
2:26
there needs to be spiritual maturity and
2:28
then chapter 12 in chapter 11 he talked
2:31
about faith and he explained what faith
2:34
was all about and in chapter 12 now he's
2:36
going to talk about how
2:38
that faith
2:39
comes about because god uses uh things
2:42
in our life
2:44
and in those people who are being
2:45
persecuted to bring us closer to him
2:48
because through the trials we learn to
2:51
lean on god we learn to do away with the
2:53
things of the flesh of the old nature so
2:55
again the trials and the discipline of
2:57
god is
2:58
is meant to to
3:01
bring us
3:03
closer to him and to make us holy so god
3:06
is interested in our holiness not our
3:08
happiness he wants us to be holy because
3:10
he said i am holy so therefore you shall
3:13
be holy so again
3:15
the trials are meant to to weed us and
3:18
to weed the people out of the old um bad
3:22
habits that we've accumulated over the
3:24
years again he's primarily addressing
3:27
jews who have been used to a certain way
3:29
of thinking and now he's trying to help
3:32
them to understand that jesus is here
3:34
jesus came to do something specific and
3:37
he wanted him to embrace that so that's
3:38
what he was doing now in chapter 12
3:41
verses 18 to 29 he's going to be talking
3:43
more about on this discipline of god and
3:46
he also he's also going to present the
3:48
new covenant and he's going to kind of
3:50
contrast it with the old covenant as he
3:52
zeroes in on mount sinai and what
3:54
happened when god came on the mountain
3:56
so i'm going to read the verse and then
3:58
we are going to try to understand it
4:00
again this is a very difficult passage
4:02
and i don't claim to understand it so
4:04
all i'm trying to do is i'm going to try
4:06
and read it
4:07
and then gives you uh from the
4:09
commentary that i read and from what i
4:12
believe the scripture is saying but i
4:13
would encourage you to also look for
4:16
good solid bible teachers who can teach
4:18
who also teach the word of god
4:20
accurately because sometimes people want
4:22
to put their own spin on the word of god
4:23
and we are told not to do that but to
4:26
divide the word of god accurately okay
4:28
it's a warning so i want you to do that
4:30
i want you to go back and dig yourself
4:33
dig the scriptures and i also look for
4:36
interpretations
4:37
expository books and and stuff like that
4:39
that you can find to give you a solid
4:41
background this is just giving you an
4:43
overview of it but i want you to do your
4:44
own homework okay all right so i'm going
4:47
to read the passage and then we are
4:49
going to try to dissect it so the
4:51
scripture says in hebrews chapter 12
4:53
verses 18 to 29 and i'm reading out of
4:57
the esv
4:59
so let me pull that up
5:01
on the screen for you guys
5:04
so the scripture says
5:06
the taro and the little header is a
5:08
kingdom that cannot be shaken
5:11
and the scripture says for you have not
5:13
come to what may be touched
5:16
a blazing fire and darkness and gloom
5:19
and a tempest and the sound of a trumpet
5:21
and a voice whose words made the hearers
5:25
beg that no further messages be spoken
5:27
to them for they could not endure the
5:30
order that was given if even a beast
5:33
touches the mountain it shall be stoned
5:36
indeed so terrifying was the sight that
5:38
moses said are trembled with fear but
5:42
you have come to mount zion and to the
5:44
city of the living god the heavenly
5:46
jerusalem and to innumerable angels in
5:49
festool gathering and to the assembly of
5:51
the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven
5:54
and to god the judge of all into the
5:57
spirits of the righteous made perfect
5:59
and to jesus the mediator of a new
6:01
covenant and to the sprinkled blood that
6:04
speaks a better word than the blood of
6:07
abel
6:08
see that you do not refuse him was
6:09
speaking for if they did not escape when
6:12
he refused him warned them on earth
6:15
much less will be escaped if you reject
6:17
him who warns from heaven
6:19
at that time his voice shook the earth
6:22
but now he has promised yet once more i
6:25
will shake not only the earth but also
6:27
the heavens this phrase yet once more
6:30
indicates the removal of things that are
6:32
shaken that is things that have been
6:34
made in order that the things that
6:37
cannot be shaken may remain therefore
6:40
let us be grateful for receiving a
6:41
kingdom that cannot be shaken and thus
6:44
let us offer to god acceptable worship
6:47
with reverence and all for our god is a
6:50
consuming fire
6:52
now i hope
6:53
your head is spinning because
6:55
even reading this is making my head spin
6:58
because i don't think i fully understand
7:00
everything that's been disclosed here
7:02
so this is why i want you to go back and
7:04
also do your own homework so let's try
7:07
to unpack this
7:08
so basically uh from verses 18 to 21 he
7:12
tells his readers that they haven't come
7:14
to a mountain a mountain that can be
7:15
touched a blazing fire and darkness and
7:18
all the gloom and all that so basically
7:20
he's referring to an event that took
7:22
place in the book of exodus okay
7:24
so
7:25
the people of israel when they left
7:27
egypt um and and india exodus
7:32
god told moses that he was going to
7:33
descend on mount on sinai and the people
7:37
had to consecrate consecrate themselves
7:39
the lord also gave them a very strong
7:41
warning and there was restrictions that
7:43
were given okay so if you go to exodus
7:46
19 the scripture says in verses 12 to 13
7:50
and you shall set limits for the people
7:53
all around saying take care not to go up
7:57
into the mountain or touch the edge of
7:59
it
8:00
whoever
8:01
touches the mountain shall be put to
8:03
death
8:04
no hand shall touch him or he shall be
8:07
stoned or shut
8:09
whether beast or man he shall not leave
8:13
when the trumpet the trumpet sounds a
8:15
long blast they shall come up to the
8:17
mountain
8:18
so these are the instructions that god
8:20
gave to moses for the people
8:22
so when they heard it what do you think
8:24
happened fear
8:27
and right fully so
8:28
see as gentiles like i'm not a jew
8:31
so when we listen to things like this we
8:34
don't get shaken okay we don't fully
8:36
understand what this meant for the
8:38
original readers okay because they were
8:40
well acquainted with the mount sinai
8:43
experience they moved the exodus account
8:45
they had been told from tradition what
8:47
had happened
8:48
so
8:49
only moses was allowed on the mountain
8:52
and the people were only allowed at the
8:53
foot of the mountain they couldn't cross
8:55
a certain threshold they saw the fire
8:58
they saw the darkness this they heard uh
9:00
the tempest and the and and the trumpet
9:02
sound
9:03
and they were consumed with fear and
9:06
even moses though permitted on axis on
9:09
the mountain he was also fearful and
9:12
rightfully so like i said
9:14
but we need to know why the writer
9:17
brings this up in chapter 12.
9:19
see again what he's doing is this he's
9:21
trying to contrast the old covenant and
9:24
the new see the people received the law
9:27
under the old covenant they saw the
9:30
physical manifestation of god on mount
9:32
sinai
9:33
but they could not get close they could
9:35
not get near they had to be away and
9:38
they told moses you go listen to god and
9:40
tell us what he wants to say we don't
9:42
want any part of it there was fear there
9:45
was trembling
9:46
so he's trying to create a contrast
9:48
there so pay attention
9:50
so
9:51
the people understood the moral
9:53
perfection of god
9:54
and they also knew their own moral faith
9:57
they also knew their own sinfulness this
9:59
is why they couldn't get across they
10:01
couldn't get over because they would
10:03
have been shot
10:05
to death god said don't let the people
10:07
come they need to consecrate themselves
10:09
even though they consecrated themselves
10:11
they still couldn't qualify to go on the
10:13
mountain because when god came
10:16
when he manifested him his presence as a
10:18
consuming fire
10:20
god came to purge he when he comes i
10:22
mean god our god is a consuming fire the
10:24
scripture says so the holiness of god
10:26
was put on display
10:28
again this this was not the full
10:30
manifestation of god but when he came on
10:32
the mountain fire came and people were
10:34
trembling they were trembling they were
10:36
dreading it because guess what
10:39
holiness exposes darkness and that's
10:42
what happens when we are in front of
10:44
someone holy there is fear there is
10:47
uneasiness there is that trembling and
10:49
that's what happened to the people they
10:50
couldn't go near
10:52
so they were afraid
10:54
and this was part of the old covenant
10:56
process so
10:57
they couldn't get close to god only
10:59
moses had that experience even moses was
11:01
still afraid when he went he said i
11:03
can't bear this right
11:05
so that leads me to the other portion of
11:07
chapter 12 which will give us a better
11:09
understanding of why the writer is
11:11
bringing this up so let's go to the next
11:14
portion in verses 22 to 24 he says
11:18
but
11:19
see
11:20
he's saying in the old uh covenant
11:24
the people went on mount sinai
11:26
and they were fearful they couldn't get
11:27
close to god there was limits that were
11:30
set they couldn't approach the throne
11:33
right but listen to what he says here
11:35
but you
11:36
have come to mount zion and to the city
11:40
of the living god the heavenly jerusalem
11:43
and to innumerable angels in festival
11:45
gathering and to the assembly of the
11:47
firstborn who are enrolled in heaven and
11:49
to god the judge of all and to the
11:52
spirits of righteous made perfect
11:55
and to jesus the mediator of a new
11:57
covenant and to the sprinkled blood that
12:00
speaks a better word than the blood of
12:02
abel you see moses was kind of like a
12:04
picture of jesus okay he was the
12:06
mediator between people the people and
12:09
god but what he brought the law wasn't
12:12
perfect the law itself was perfect but
12:14
the people were not perfect they
12:16
couldn't get close to god because they
12:18
were still what
12:20
jesus hadn't come here right he had to
12:22
come so they saw the manifestation of
12:23
god but they couldn't get close so there
12:25
was still something that was missing
12:27
there was still something that had to be
12:28
done right now if you go to hebrews
12:31
chapter 4 verse 14 to 16 i want to read
12:34
something to you before we get into this
12:36
listen to what the scripture says here
12:38
since then we have a great high priest
12:41
who has passed through the heavens jesus
12:44
the son of god
12:46
let us hold fast our confession
12:48
for
12:49
we do not have a high priest who is
12:51
unable to sympathize with our weaknesses
12:54
but one who in every respect has been
12:57
tempted as we are
12:58
yet without sin
13:00
let us then listen with confidence
13:04
draw
13:05
near to the throne of grace that we may
13:09
receive
13:10
mercy and find grace to help in time of
13:14
need
13:15
why am i saying this this is something
13:16
that the people in the old
13:19
covenant didn't experience
13:21
and the writer is trying to create a
13:22
contract so that people understand the
13:24
benefits of what jesus has done
13:28
you see in the old covenant they
13:30
couldn't get close to the mountain they
13:31
had to they came to the foot of the
13:33
mountain where they couldn't go near
13:35
the consuming fire there was fear
13:37
trembling but the scripture tells us
13:39
that jesus
13:40
now
13:41
as a great high priest in the order of
13:43
melchizedek what has he done he has made
13:46
it possible for us to do what to come to
13:48
the throne of grace with confidence
13:52
see the people couldn't come to the
13:54
throne of grace with confidence in the
13:55
old they couldn't do it
13:57
there was they were gonna be killed if
14:00
they did that so you see the contrast
14:02
here
14:03
i i hope i'm making this clear enough
14:05
for you because the writer is really
14:07
trying to create some kind of uh
14:09
oh
14:11
like he wants the people to understand
14:12
listen what jesus has done is amazing
14:16
you guys need to understand
14:18
he's immediate of a new covenant a
14:20
better covenant he's been talking about
14:22
it since chapter one all the way to
14:24
chapter 11 and 12 now see
14:27
mount sinai was physical
14:29
yet it could not be touched there was a
14:31
manifestation they saw it
14:33
but the heavenly jerusalem the city of
14:35
god isn't a physical place but that's
14:38
where god himself dwells so
14:40
god doesn't just manifest himself in the
14:42
heavenly jerusalem that's where he lives
14:44
and dwells so to the original readers
14:47
they understood the writer's argument
14:49
clearly see with the new covenant
14:52
access into the very presence of god has
14:55
been what granted and permitted because
14:57
of the precious blood of christ that has
15:00
taken away the sins and the guilt of the
15:03
people he didn't just cover it he took
15:05
it away there was a mission the scene
15:08
were taken away the guilt has been taken
15:10
away so now they have access into the
15:12
holy of holies i hope you see the
15:14
picture
15:15
see all this because of jesus
15:18
now people have access to the throne of
15:20
grace to the holy of holies so people
15:22
have been made acceptable to god and now
15:25
he dwells in people and in us through
15:28
what his holy spirit that he has given
15:31
to people that he's called his children
15:34
so the scripture tells us in romans 8
15:36
whoever is led by the spirit of god is
15:38
the child of god see but because of
15:41
spiritual immaturity
15:43
a lot of people in that time and even
15:46
now haven't fully realized all the
15:48
benefits
15:49
that have been given to us because of
15:51
jesus work on the cross
15:53
see according to the scripture
15:55
we have been brought to what to the
15:57
heavenly jerusalem the kingdom of god
16:00
into the presence of countless number of
16:03
angels in festival gathering the
16:06
assembly of the firstborn
16:08
enrolled in heaven we we have come to
16:10
god the judge of all to the spirit of
16:13
what the righteous made perfect and to
16:15
jesus see that's what we've been brought
16:17
near
16:18
but the thing is this our finite mind
16:21
can't comprehend that the same way the
16:23
people in that time couldn't see that
16:25
because
16:26
as people
16:27
we are often moved by what things that
16:29
we can see like tactile
16:32
eyes eyesight we don't see it but it's
16:34
by faith that we have been brought near
16:37
and i don't even know if if i fully
16:40
comprehend what that means for me today
16:43
i mean i don't know if they did
16:45
because the writer was trying to
16:46
convince them by a rational argument
16:48
that was scriptural he wasn't just
16:50
saying things out of his head
16:52
all the argument that he gave had
16:55
um scriptural foundation there was
16:57
scripture to back it up
17:00
so this is where we've been brought near
17:02
to the place to the heavenly jerusalem
17:05
the city of god to the assembly of the
17:07
firstborn enrolled in heaven we have
17:09
come to god the judge of all to the
17:11
spirit of righteousness made perfect
17:14
abraham moses
17:15
jacob isaac that's what we've been
17:18
brought near into their presence as well
17:20
that's what the believer has the
17:22
believer has the access
17:24
but the thing is we don't see that
17:27
so remember he has been talking about
17:29
this since chapter nine or eight
17:31
that we don't yes we don't see
17:34
we don't see without sight with our eyes
17:36
but this is the place where we've been
17:37
brought near come to the throne of grace
17:40
when we pray we have access through the
17:41
spirit of god we have access
17:43
so that's where the born-again believer
17:45
has been brought into
17:47
all this because of jesus was the
17:49
mediator of a better covenant
17:52
and the scripture says his blood speaks
17:54
a better word than the blood of abel see
17:57
abel's lord screamed what justice and
18:00
vengeance
18:01
according to genesis but jesus blood
18:04
screams what mercy
18:06
redemption
18:07
forgive forgiveness of sins and peace
18:09
with god that's the contrast so the
18:12
blood of abel says justice vengeance the
18:15
law has been broken something has been
18:17
done he was killed unjustly justice and
18:19
vengeance but the blood of jesus says
18:21
forgive them for they know not what they
18:23
do because of the blood of jesus the
18:25
blood of jesus infinite value because
18:27
jesus is the god man
18:29
he is truly god and truly man so
18:31
therefore he can make true atonement for
18:34
the people he can really make it
18:36
possible for people who seem to be taken
18:38
away and now we have access into the
18:40
holy of holi and that this is what the
18:42
writer is trying to communicate to these
18:44
people and and i don't know if they
18:45
understood it and i don't know if i
18:47
fully understand that i can say it but
18:49
to say something and to live it is
18:52
something different
18:54
you can profess it but you possess it
18:56
that's what i'm trying to convey as well
18:58
i want to possess this i want these
19:00
truths to dominate me to the point where
19:02
i'm living it out
19:04
so
19:05
the writer's point is this enjoy the
19:08
discipline of god because his end
19:10
purpose is fellowship with god
19:13
you see what i'm saying
19:15
you enjoy the discipline of god because
19:18
the end purpose of the discipline of god
19:21
is fellowship with god that we might
19:23
share
19:24
in his holiness this is the fruits of
19:27
the discipline of god he doesn't just
19:29
discipline his children for the sake of
19:31
just watching them struggle and suffer
19:33
the end purpose is fellowship with god
19:37
himself that's why he disciplines us
19:39
that we may fellowship with him
19:42
this is why we need to embrace it when
19:43
we are going through those hard times
19:45
because he's trying to change us
19:47
now we may fellowship with him we may
19:49
enjoy and share in his holiness
19:52
that's the whole purpose
19:55
and then
19:57
from verse 25 to 29
20:00
listen to what he says see that you do
20:02
not refuse him
20:04
speaking
20:05
for if they did not escape when they
20:07
refused him who warned them on earth
20:10
much less will we escape if we reject
20:12
him one who warns from heaven
20:15
at that time his voice shook the earth
20:17
but now he has promised yet
20:20
once more i will shake not only the
20:22
earth but also the heavens
20:24
this phrase yet once more indicates the
20:27
removal of things that are shaken that
20:29
is things that have been made
20:31
in order that the things that cannot be
20:33
shaken may remain therefore
20:35
let us be grateful for receiving a
20:37
kingdom that cannot be shaken and thus
20:40
let us offer to god acceptable worship
20:43
with reverence and all for our god is a
20:45
consuming fire
20:47
i have to admit when i was reading this
20:49
in the scripture
20:50
again it went over my head i'm thinking
20:51
what is going on here what is he trying
20:53
to convey so i had to use one of my uh
20:56
books the
20:57
exposition book that i have and i read
20:59
the commentary so basically the writer
21:01
is now ending this chapter with more
21:03
exaltations so he's reiterating a point
21:06
that he already mentioned in chapter 2
21:09
verses 1 through 4.
21:10
see when the people of god disobeyed him
21:13
in the wilderness
21:14
after receiving the law a great number
21:16
perished and the scripture tells us that
21:19
with many of them god was not pleased
21:22
so he even swore in his wrath that they
21:24
will not enter his rest now since
21:26
chapter 4 he has been saying to his
21:29
readers that
21:30
don't harden your heart and he's telling
21:32
us that today do not harden your heart
21:34
right
21:35
so
21:36
he said do not harden your heart if
21:38
today you hear his voice so if the
21:40
spirit of god is speaking to you
21:42
so this is what the writer is trying to
21:43
communicate he's saying if the people of
21:45
old
21:46
died because they rejected the words of
21:49
god through moses how much worse worse
21:52
will it be
21:53
for you today or for us today if you
21:56
reject god who speaks to us from heaven
21:58
so he's again contrasting heaven and
22:01
earth in a sense that
22:03
when god showed up on mount sinai that
22:06
was just
22:07
his full glory was not manifested
22:10
they saw a glimpse of it and when people
22:12
rejected his words there was
22:14
consequences now that he wants from
22:16
heaven
22:17
and we've seen we've been given all this
22:19
evidence
22:20
the magnitude of of what will be lost i
22:23
mean he's talking about
22:25
be careful
22:26
watch yourself
22:28
so in other words if you reject the
22:30
spirit today
22:32
what do you think is going to happen to
22:33
you if those who rejected the words of
22:35
god through moses perished
22:38
what do you think will happen to you if
22:39
you reject his words today through his
22:41
spirit that's starting at your heart
22:43
what do you think the consequence is
22:44
gonna be
22:45
because he's warning you from heaven
22:47
through his spirit
22:48
see the shaking of the earth that he
22:50
mentions later on
22:54
shaking of the earth at mount sinai was
22:56
for the purpose of what sifting for
22:58
righteousness again we're coming back to
22:59
the same point god disciplined his
23:01
people for the sake of righteousness for
23:04
the sake of holiness so according to the
23:06
scripture
23:07
he promised to shake not only the earth
23:09
but also the heavens so that the only
23:11
things that remain a part of a kingdom
23:14
that can no longer be shaken that which
23:16
pleases god okay so again god is shaking
23:20
he's shaking things so that whatever
23:22
remains cannot be shaken anymore that
23:24
which pleases him
23:26
so this is why we are shaking in our own
23:27
lives we get disciplined through trials
23:30
the trials are meant to do what do away
23:32
with the things of the flesh james tells
23:34
us in the book of james
23:36
consider a pure job whenever you face
23:38
trials of many kind for the testing of
23:40
your faith produces what perseverance
23:43
that perseverance one is called so that
23:45
you may be mature and complete lacking
23:47
in nothing
23:48
so god again has promised to give us a
23:50
kingdom that cannot be shaken
23:53
because it is pleasing in his sight so
23:56
consequently this ought to encourage you
23:58
and i to offer what acceptable worship
24:01
holy living with reverence and all why
24:04
because god is a consuming fire and he
24:07
will not put up with nonsense as we saw
24:09
god will not put up with it and he will
24:11
ensure that we live holy lives so
24:14
basically the whole chapter 12 was
24:16
dedicated to the discipline of god and
24:19
how do we react to to it when god
24:21
disciplines us do we do we resist it do
24:25
we despise it because the end purpose is
24:28
always but
24:29
fellowship with god himself holiness
24:33
holiness and holiness god is holy and he
24:36
said you shall be holy for i the lord
24:38
i'm holy again
24:40
i don't think i fully comprehend
24:42
everything that's being disclosed in
24:44
this chapter but my question and my hope
24:46
is that
24:47
as you read this you will take this
24:49
thing to heart that these are the words
24:52
of the living god that he has given us
24:53
through his servants who joined down
24:56
everything that they were led by the
24:57
spirit right now and it's for for us
25:00
to to pay attention and to use and to
25:03
understand
25:04
so my question is are you being
25:06
disciplined by god today and if you are
25:08
being disciplined
25:10
are you trusting that god is ensuring
25:13
that this is for your own
25:16
uh benefit that you may share in his
25:18
holiness
25:20
because without holiness the scripture
25:22
tells us no one will see the lord
25:24
so the the process of sanctification is
25:28
for us
25:29
to to to do what to look forward to the
25:31
day that we will completely do away with
25:34
the old nature
25:36
i've been saying to people sometimes i
25:37
cannot wait till
25:38
i breathe my last not because i desired
25:41
death because i deserve the death of the
25:43
old nature
25:45
i can't stand myself sometimes because
25:47
of the old things that pop in my head
25:50
the nature the selfish nature
25:52
in agonizing because you know i can't
25:55
stand this anymore the scripture tells
25:57
us that we grow in our spirit
26:00
so because we're going to be clothed
26:01
with the imperial body that which cannot
26:04
sin anymore the grace of god is going to
26:06
do that through the work of christ by
26:08
the spirit of god applying that grace to
26:10
us
26:12
so that's the that's that's what i'm
26:14
looking forward to
26:16
looking forward to the city of god
26:17
looking forward to being with him
26:19
all right so hopefully this has spoken
26:22
to you
26:22
and i look forward to seeing you again
26:24
next time have a wonderful evening and
26:26
i'll see you next
26:27
thank you
