Both the Air Jordan 1 High OG Pine Green & Court Purple are releasing officially this coming Saturday September the 22nd. I wasn’t going to write about the possible number of pairs made until I saw a facebook post a week ago from an indididual looking to purchase 180 pairs of the purple iteration in size 8-10 and GS sizes as well. Basically what I’m trying to convey is that both of these 1’s are going to be a gold mine for resellers and that led me to want to come up with an estimate of a number of units produced. Hey, what's up, guys
0:02
This is Taribe again from House of Kicks.com. And I'm doing another show early
0:08
It's Wednesday, 216. So I wasn't going to do this one until I saw some on Facebook
0:15
I'm talking about the Jordan one, called Purple and the Pine Green. They both came on Saturday the 22nd
0:20
And, you know, I wasn't going to write about how many pairs Nike made and everything. And I saw this dude on Instagram, Facebook
0:27
saying that some Asian dude, he wanted, like, 180 pairs or the purple joint in size 18 and he wanted all sizes all kind of size and kid sizes so I was like man I need to look at the shoe quick when I looked my eyes got open again man this is going to be a gold map for resettlers people are going after the shoe and today I'm trying to figure out how many pairs Nike made so I'm going to go through a series of assumptions like I always do and then we're going to figure out we're going to come up with a number now all this is just speculation I'm
0:59
not saying that what I'm saying here is true I'm just using assumptions and
1:03
every time you make an assumption you're prone to make mistakes so we just
1:07
trying to figure out an estimate so that's what we don't so the first thing I want to do is I'm gonna show you what the shoe looks like and then we're gonna get
1:13
into the actual presentation so I'm gonna share my screen with you real quick I
1:18
always like to do Nike Nike website because they have the best pictures so let's
1:23
get up there now that's the pine green and I'm gonna click on that real quick all
1:28
Right? So basically, it's tumble leather. I mean, soft tumble leather. The quality is just bananas, man. It's crazy. So you have a little bit of white, green at the hill on the tall box here. Green tumble leather. This is a harder one. A little bit of synthetic. That's not synthetic. It's still like leather here. And then this one on the panel is really soft. And, of course, your swoosh logo on the side and the wings logo, and Nike are branding on the outside of the tongue
1:58
mesh and extension a lot of holes here for ventilation and you got again your rubber
2:03
and mid-souled and this is the typical of the Jordan one so it's not like it's something new
2:08
you can see more pictures on here all right and Nike tells you exactly what you know what kind
2:13
of composition component go into the shoe you can see the circular um grooves here and everything
2:19
so now let's look at the purple one I'm going to go over there and then we're going to look at
2:24
the purple one here all right and this is it Same thing. It's just the only difference is the photo panel and their toolbox is purple and the outside of the Tongue and it's purple
2:36
Other than that, everything gets as typical and it's all the same. All right. Now that we know what the shoe looks like, we're going to talk about how many possible pairs on Nike made
2:45
And I broke this down into little things here that I'm going to bring up so we can kind of have some kind of a guideline here to go about doing this
2:56
So let me get this up. All right the first thing I want to do is the pine ones I want to find the starkest What I mean starkest is how many people are getting the shoe Now if you look on like all these other website that are promoting the shoe
3:09
full law can is the derivatives are the only one getting the shoe. When I said derivatives, I mean, FF, Action, Champs, East Bay
3:16
and then finish line, Hayward and Nike, of course. Those are the big major retailers out there
3:21
like the biggest retailers in the North America. All right? So they didn't want getting the shoe
3:26
So based on this information, who makes some assumptions, and inferences. And so I'm thinking
3:31
Foot Locker, Food Action, Champs, East Bay, they get up a one-third of the entire inventory
3:36
because Foot Locker and have this special relationship with Nike. So Nike is always going to give them first dates, right
3:42
So Full-Lock and everybody else is getting like one-third. So, and I'm thinking Food Action and Champs together
3:50
will receive the seven-month foot-lockers receiving. So if Foot-Locker gets like 10 pairs, I'm just speculating
3:56
then Champs and Food Action are going to get 10 pairs. together. All right? Because Footworker is a big
4:00
big daddy, all right? And then I'm also assuming that their online locations
4:05
are going to get about half of what the physical places are getting
4:09
So the online location, the physical stores are getting like 5,000 pairs
4:14
Online, I'm thinking $2,500, half of it, all right? And then, now the hardest part
4:20
is trying to figure out how many pairs is each store getting. Now, this is hard because
4:24
when you look, hustle hoop, some places will get like 70 pairs
4:28
and then some other places get like 12 bears. So how do you figure it out? This is the hardest thing to do
4:33
So what I do is I'm just going to come up with the average of 18 per store, just to be fair
4:38
All right? So this is what I did here. Now we're going to look at the next slide. And we're going to go from there
4:43
So now we're going to run the numbers. So if those are our numbers, so I counted about 300 to 370 foot logger store that
4:52
will be given the shoe. So all House of Goose are going to get it, of course
4:56
But there are some select stores. within the country that tend to look like
5:01
Housal Hoof, they are not typical Housso Hoops, but they are called Housal Hoops. They are not called Housal Hoops, I want to say
5:07
but they look like a Houselhoop when you walk in there. They also are going to get the shoes. So it's your job to go around and ask
5:12
or just use the Footlogger app to see what's all going to get there
5:17
All right, when I did it, the release map is not very accurate. So I came up with like 3 to 370 stores
5:23
so I'm just going to use the highest, which is 370, and I'm going to multiply that by 18
5:28
So I come out with 6660. And since I assume that food action and food action and champs, I get the same number
5:36
So therefore, both together will get 660. And if you want to add all these together, actually before we do it, we're going to try to figure out how much is getting
5:44
The online is getting. Now, this is elementary basic math. I added them and I divided by two
5:49
I didn't need to do that. That's pretty stupid. But I want to show you why I'm doing this here
5:54
So if food action and in champs and full lockers together again all this you divide by two days 60 60 of course right So and the total from foot for lockers is basically 66 60 times three which is 19 pairs So if I saying if I assuming this is it then if you do if you write it off like 20
6:16
and you multiply by three because my initial assumption was it's one third of the total inventory
6:22
then you get 60,000 pairs. That's for the green one, the pine green
6:26
All right now, at least we're going to try to figure out what the purple one looks like. So for the purple one
6:32
Now for the purple, the only member of Foot Locker family getting the shoe is Food Action
6:36
Nobody else is getting them. Food Action is the only place getting there. If you don't believe me, actually I'm going to go over here and I'll show you
6:45
Food Action. We're going to Fraction real quick. And we're going to do this here, Relays Locator
6:52
And the only person getting him is Food Action. All right? You see, if you go here, Full Locker is not getting it
6:58
And you can actually just go and check, click it, and see how many places I get in the shoe
7:07
This is it here. See, it's kind of all the food action are getting them. So let's go back to the slide
7:12
And go back to the slide, all right. Oh, dummy. Dummy. All right
7:17
So food action is the only one getting the shoe. Now, my initial assumption is if they made 60,000 pairs of the pine green
7:23
then going to make the same thing, the same amount of the cold purple
7:27
all right and the core purple the only places that are getting them beside food action are d tlr kicks you
7:32
say jimmy jaz ruvilla and all these minor retailers the little ones all right so nikey i guess
7:37
gave footlocker the green and the purple so to speak and then the minor retailers just got the
7:43
purple one now i'm making some assumptions again so i'm thinking if food action is the only one
7:48
getting them so food action is probably going to get about one fifth or one six of the entire inventory right
7:53
and now we just need to figure out how many food action there are how many they're
7:57
getting and then we're going to try to come up with the online online numbers and then we can find
8:03
our total right so i'll say again food action a lot we probably see by half of what the physical is
8:09
getting and i'm assuming that each fraction will get about 24 pairs again that's just extrapolating
8:14
from earlier numbers and then there's a total number of like 272 food action stores in in north
8:20
america right and i'm assuming that each one is getting the shoe so therefore to find a number
8:25
I just do two. 72 times 24, 65, 28. And online will be 65, 28 by 2, which is 32, 64
8:32
And if you add these two numbers, you get about 97, 92. And since I assume that it's one foot, for one six, I went with one six
8:40
I came up with 60,000 pairs, which is probably what I said earlier in my subjective method
8:47
All right? So now, the next thing we're going to do is we're going to try and figure out what is the market value
8:53
Now, for the market value, I wasn't going to check. Like I said, I wasn't going to do it, but it's a tradition that I want to keep
9:00
So as of September the 18 which was yesterday I counted about 62 per I sold on eBay And the prices were ranging from 279 to 369 And sizes 8 and 10 were selling for us high like 369 10 and a half and above is like picking at 299 and then I
9:19
let you use the same food to figure out the average number right you can do it
9:23
yourself now stock X had an average of 365 and then start and then and then
9:28
stock X we call about 54 sales for the pine grain joint now for the purple one
9:33
stock X had like eight hundred and 88 sales and the average of 323. Now like I said, this is alarming because the shoe isn't
9:41
even out and they have already sold 900 pairs of stock eggs so high in the, you know, like how are
9:47
they getting this shoe? Like, who's getting it? This is my assumption, man. Like, it is one thing
9:53
People are sending it to the back door or it's just some shady, they're falling off some kind of train
10:00
or something because and that's the reason why sometimes you're trying to get your pair, you can't get them in the store because
10:04
managers be doing shady stuff man they sell the shoes out ahead of time and now
10:09
you'd never win the raffle because there's some so many shady stuff going on
10:12
we can actually go on stock X and see how many shoes I've sold so far right let's
10:17
let's go on stock X I'm gonna type this in here and we're gonna see if that
10:22
that number increased because yesterday it was at 988 so let's see so this is it
10:28
right here right so let's see 450 high speed crazy crazy crazy crazy
10:34
So wow, look at this. A thousand and, a thousand and forty-nine pairs sold so far, right
10:43
1049 and the shoes not even out. So where this dude getting the shoe from
10:50
You can, you know, ask yourself some questions. We go on eBay, let's check on eBay real quick
10:54
I'm going to check on eBay. Man, I mean, I'm telling you, man, that's something going on
11:01
I like the gallery with you better. Let's see the prices and let's see the actual sales
11:09
You know, they're running between 380, 380, right? 300, 380. And mostly the smaller size is 8 and 10 are going for more
11:18
I'm not surprised because like I told you, I wrote an article about it
11:23
Let me go on my website and I'll show you. I wrote an article about this new breed of resellers
11:28
You definitely want to look at this, man. When you get a chance to go and read this article
11:31
it's not open your eyes to a lot of things that are going on now. all right I break down the kind of resellers we have in the market and then you can you
11:38
can actually go just go and read it now that's all I have to say today now for those I want
11:44
to shoot I actually have like a list of stock is like Nike's SNS finish line stock X and all
11:51
these places so you can go on the website and just click on it and buy if you want it all all right this is it guys I hope this helps and if you have any questions shoot me an
12:00
email again this is just pure speculation take this with a great of salt. I'm not claiming I know everything, but I use this kind of assumption to come up
12:08
from my numbers. If you have any question, just send it to me. All right? Thanks for watching again
