Buy it now, see link below https://housakicks.com/how-many-pairs-made-resale/where-to-buy-the-air-jordan-1-high-og-denim-and-should-you-resell-it/ A couple of days ago I wrote about Jordan Brand’s redundancy as it pertains to their latest releases and they continue to stay with the course and have not changed lanes. Now sometimes, redundancy can be a positive especially since the brand has been screaming edit to amplify, basically giving people what they want, and the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG Denim appears to be a win for most, would i go out of my way to grab a pair, probably not, but i can’t deny that the shoe does look a bit enticing.

hey what's going on guys this is T House
0:02
of kicks again and today we're going to
0:03
talk about the Air Jordan one high denim
0:06
OG now the shoe supposed to drop
0:08
tomorrow that is uh June the 15th and it
0:12
cost about
0:13
$180 now uh two days ago I talked about
0:16
the Jordan 4 oxidized green and we
0:18
actually discovered that the shoe was
0:20
not worth reselling which is great news
0:22
by the way for those are actually trying
0:24
to get the shoe so everything now is in
0:27
the benefit of the buyers and this is
0:29
great news if you're a buyer exem
0:31
yourself happy because everything that
0:32
has been dropping has been just tanking
0:35
which means you can get them for up to
0:37
like 41% below the retail price and this
0:41
Jordan one denim is not any different
0:43
like uh the denim whole the the whole
0:46
denim concept started with the Jordan
0:48
one Levis that dropped like several
0:50
years ago that was a a major like win
0:53
for Nike because that shoe went
0:55
ballistic it was going for like actually
0:57
$5 $600 on resale Market and I guess the
1:00
brand again once they see something is
1:02
working they begin to do the overkill
1:04
which is pretty much dropping the same
1:06
stuff over and over and over with the
1:08
same kind of concept so the Jordan one
1:10
denim highog is pretty much a derivative
1:13
of the the Levi pack again they had the
1:16
women one that Dro in 2022 and currently
1:18
is going for like 260 or a little less
1:20
than that again it's a great looking
1:22
shoe don't get me wrong I love the denim
1:24
uh overlays and I love how uh when you
1:27
look at the shoe and you look at the the
1:29
underlays it almost feels like the the
1:31
color is bleeding the obsidian color is
1:33
bleeding out of that so that's pretty
1:34
cool I love all about it the shoe looks
1:36
amazing the price is 180 but the thing
1:39
is this buyers understand now so they're
1:41
not willing to pay more than retail even
1:44
retail for the shoe they're trying to
1:45
pay less than that so we're going to
1:46
talk about how the shoes doing on a
1:48
third third party marketpl so quickly so
1:50
the first thing I'm going to discuss is
1:52
the the five number summary and with the
1:54
five number summary we talk about how
1:57
well the shoe is doing on the market so
1:59
we talk about lowest sale uh the highest
2:01
sale and things of the sort if there's
2:02
any outlier now for this shoe the lowest
2:05
shoe sold for was $95 so $95 was the
2:09
lowest price and uh that's for a size uh
2:12
10 which is surprising right and then uh
2:15
the highest uh shoe um sale recorded was
2:19
216 and that's for a size 5 and a half
2:21
main size 5 and A2 and about 25% of the
2:24
Sho shoes sold between 95 and 123 and
2:28
I'm going to show you a chart that's
2:29
going to show the the exact sizes and
2:31
then uh 50% of them sold between 123 and
2:36
141 and the remaining 25% sold between
2:39
141 and 216 and by the way $95 and 216
2:44
that was considered outlier which mean
2:46
this is not the norm So based on that I
2:49
went and calculated the the average uh
2:51
resale value and I found it to be
2:54
$132 with a volatility of 11% which is
2:58
below normal right now you can expect
3:00
about 95% of the shoes to sell between
3:04
104 and 160 and that leads to losses
3:07
between $43 and $98 now I'm going to
3:11
show you in a minute what uh each size
3:13
is leading to so but basically so far at
3:16
132 that's like oh my gosh like $38
3:21
below the resale price again great win
3:23
for the buyer so far now if you look at
3:26
my uh collected data here you're going
3:28
to see some interesting thing if you
3:29
sell the size 10 you lose about $79
3:32
because that size 10 is selling for 123
3:35
and the size 10 and2 is selling for12
3:37
you lose 80 a size 11 is selling for $1
3:40
134 you lose $69 a size 112 is selling
3:44
for1 123 you lose 79 size 12 sells for
3:48
135 you lose 68 size 13 sells for 141
3:52
you lose 62 size 15 sells for 124 you
3:55
lose 78 size 5 and 1/2 sells for 216 you
3:59
make $6 which is still below normal okay
4:03
and then size 6 and2 sells for 148 you
4:06
lose 55 size 7 sells for 165 you lose 38
4:10
size 7 and2 sells for 151 you lose 52
4:13
size 8 sells for 129 you lose 73 size 8
4:16
and a half sells for 109 you lose 93 and
4:19
size 9 so sells for 132 you lose 70 and
4:23
then finally size down in half sells for
4:25
106 you lose 96 so basically out of all
4:29
the shoot that sold only 6% led to a a
4:33
profit and the profit was minimal that's
4:35
$6 and that's still less than normal and
4:37
that's only one pairer and only one paer
4:39
was sold at the size 5 and a half now uh
4:43
90% of the sale led to losses between 30
4:46
and 60 and the remaining 56.25% led to
4:50
losses between 60 and 80 now there's
4:52
another 12.5% and those led to losses
4:56
between 93 and $96 that size eight and a
4:59
half and 9 and a half so what's the
5:01
conclusion now we already know like with
5:04
for the Jordan Ones this has been a
5:06
recurring thing they don't do well on
5:09
secondary marketplaces it's just not
5:11
going to happen anymore so if you think
5:13
if you're a day trader if you want to
5:15
just flip stuff on Saturday morning and
5:17
make some money please abandon this idea
5:19
unless you get the shoes from a source
5:22
that I won't name if you can get them up
5:24
to like 50% below the the MSRP then yeah
5:27
by all means go ahead and sell it
5:29
because you're going to make some money
5:30
but anybody that think that thinks he's
5:33
going to buy the shoe for retail and
5:34
make some money good luck without
5:36
thinking that's not going to happen now
5:38
I do have some good things to say about
5:39
this shoe if you're an investor if you
5:41
can if you have Capital I'm talking
5:43
serious Capital to to to sit on then I
5:46
would suggest you buy the shoes now and
5:48
let it sit for at least 18 months or
5:51
maybe 24 months because what's going to
5:52
happen is this the shoes relatively
5:55
limited So within like 2 years or a
5:57
little less prices are going to
5:59
Skyrocket so I won't be surprised if
6:01
like by
6:03
2026 or 20 end of 2025 this shoe is
6:07
selling for like 250 or a little more
6:09
all right because right now there's an
6:11
abundance but what's going to happen is
6:13
this unless Nike does some restocks
6:15
which I suspect they might do but if
6:17
they don't do that this is a good item
6:18
to invest in because if you buy them now
6:20
for low you can hold on to them and
6:22
within a two year span they're going to
6:24
go up especially if you have like
6:26
multiple pairs in stock that's when
6:28
you're going to be able to make money
6:29
again most people that do long-term
6:31
investment they are not looking for like
6:33
uh uh home run they're looking for just
6:35
some kind of percentage on their
6:37
investment so that's a good sh to invest
6:39
in if you're looking for the long-term
6:41
investment option all right but other
6:43
than that if you're trying to sell this
6:45
on Saturday only please don't do it
6:47
you're going to lose money you've been
6:49
warn again thanks for watching please uh
6:51
like this subscribe to house K if you
6:54
want more this kind of content and
6:55
thanks for watching and I'll see you
6:56
next time thank you
