- 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 8-10 limes)
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1-2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced (optional, for heat)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 avocado, diced (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
