He's best-known as the lead singer of Led Zeppelin, but Robert Plant has been a solo artist since the band broke up in 1980. Sadly, the breakup came when John Bonham, the band's drummer and Plant's best friend, died at age 32, and this is only one of many tragic things that Plant has had to face during his life.
