what's up ladies and gentlemen this is
0:01
David Benjamin from oxar reviews today
0:03
I'm reviewing the Thea gun relief from
0:06
Thea body the relief model is their
0:09
smallest unit it's their lowest uh tier
0:12
product uh it's the most affordable I
0:14
think it's 149 bucks and it has
0:17
different modes and the battery lasts I
0:19
would say anywhere from 40 minutes to an
0:22
hour or so something like that uh but
0:25
this is once again their lowest tier
0:26
model so their lowest tier model has
0:28
three power settings it goes up to four
0:30
five and even six so depending on you
0:33
know the what you're looking for it's I
0:35
think 150 bucks up to like 6 700 bucks
0:38
something like that so first things
0:40
first uh there are three different
0:42
attachments that go to the end of this
0:45
there is the uh dampener oops the
0:48
standard ball the dampener and the thumb
0:50
so the standard ball is your widest
0:52
right here it's the biggest one and then
0:54
you have your dampener which is uh
0:58
slightly smaller as you can see and then
1:01
you have your uh ball I think that's
1:04
what it's called or thumb thumb that's
1:07
right thumb so the thumb is the smallest
1:09
so the order of these is pretty simple
1:11
uh the biggest one is for your largest
1:13
muscle group so that could be like your
1:15
back or your uh your thighs your
1:17
hamstrings your quads things like that
1:19
that's the big one and then the middle
1:21
one is for kind of your middle you know
1:24
muscles maybe your biceps things like
1:26
that and then the smallest one uh which
1:29
honestly I like the small small one the
1:30
most um I feel like I get the most
1:33
impact I like the mid and small the most
1:35
I don't I don't use the largest one as
1:37
much as the mid and small but the small
1:40
and midsize one I actually use the most
1:44
and that's because this is what you want
1:45
to do to get in those trenches the
1:47
crevices so um you know you you have
1:50
soreness uh maybe um you know in your
1:53
your deltoids or something like that you
1:55
just turn on right now it's on the
1:56
lowest setting this has three settings
1:58
so low medium high and that kind of
2:00
allows you to get in the trenches there
2:02
where you may have some soreness right
2:04
and then the midsize one I would use
2:06
like on my chest for example and you can
2:08
use the smaller one in your chest too
2:09
but I I can feel this digging in and
2:11
it's on the lowest setting so if I kick
2:12
it up a notch one push the button one
2:14
more time that's mid and then I kick it
2:17
up third that's high so I usually just
2:20
run it on the lowest setting because
2:21
that's enough for me and I can I I could
2:23
feel this digging in right now actually
2:25
yesterday was chest day uh so I'm
2:27
feeling it uh but you know it's nice
2:30
because that small the smallest one you
2:32
can really get into the crevices there
2:34
and the The Trenches of the soreness uh
2:37
sort of that connective those connective
2:40
muscles your deltoids uh you know the
2:43
the ends of your quads um just certain
2:45
areas of your body your neck your your
2:47
back things like that uh so I like these
2:49
smallest one to turn off you just simply
2:51
hold down the button you pop this off
2:53
and then you put the other one on just
2:55
like that so it's very simple it's not
2:56
hard at all it's very easy to use and uh
2:59
if it works really well so I would say
3:01
it's funny I've know I've known about
3:02
these massage guns for a long time and
3:04
I've had friends that have had them and
3:06
what I like about this one in particular
3:08
is you can hold it in three different
3:09
ways you can hold it here here or here I
3:12
personally like holding it here the most
3:14
because then I can actually like pull it
3:15
into myself so if you're having someone
3:17
else to use it they might hold it here
3:19
right but for this doesn't work as well
3:21
cuz the Leverage is kind of weird I
3:23
recommend holding it right here uh
3:25
because you're going to get the most
3:26
leverage and be able to dig that into
3:28
your body into your muscle mus the most
3:30
and once again you're going to be
3:32
pulling it towards you right you're not
3:33
going to be if you're doing this it has
3:35
the the uh tendency to kind of go this
3:38
way or this way and fall whereas with
3:40
this you have a firm grip and you can
3:42
just pull it in so I that's my preferred
3:46
method method and recommendation for
3:47
grip on the Thea uh the the Thea gun the
3:52
Thea body Thea gun the relief
3:55
model this is fun it's also fun to talk
3:59
while you PR it into your chest cuz your
4:00
voice does this crazy autotune thing
4:03
kind of a sun sun a fun side effect of
4:07
it all right let me turn it off now uh
4:09
but just to kind of share with you a few
4:11
other benefits so I save these to show
4:13
you they actually give you uh points so
4:15
if you have lower back pain for example
4:17
they have this triangle formula process
4:20
for that for lower back pain relief uh
4:23
that helps to just relieve and reduce
4:25
that tension and they say do a minute on
4:27
the left in a triangle a minute in the
4:28
right in a triangle which is which is
4:29
pretty cool and then they have a relieve
4:32
neck tension uh you know starting points
4:34
and then the amount of time and how to
4:36
do that for neck tension and then they
4:38
have one for your legs you can actually
4:40
do it at the bottom of your feet which I
4:41
haven't done I think you kind of need a
4:42
partner for that uh but then calves as
4:44
well quads and hamstrings so they give
4:47
you these nice little cards uh with a QR
4:50
code showing you the different grips and
4:52
the different attachments to use uh in
4:54
order to get the most benefit and
4:56
results so that's that's the last one so
4:59
uh yeah I to be honest with you uh this
5:01
is totally worth it so the benefits are
5:04
as follows first and foremost uh you get
5:07
improved and enhanced circulation which
5:10
you notice because I do this I'll do
5:13
this before and after the gym so I do it
5:15
before to loosen my muscles so that when
5:17
I go to the gym my muscles are loose and
5:19
and relaxed so I get a better workout in
5:21
but then I'll do it after for that
5:23
tightness and tension like right now I
5:24
have some tightness and tension in my
5:25
chest from yesterday so I'm feeling it
5:28
when I'm digging in right now now so
5:30
it's good for preparing for workouts
5:32
it's good for recovering from workouts
5:34
it's good for enhancing and boosting
5:35
your circulation it's also good for the
5:37
flow of your lymphatic system because
5:39
your lymphatic system all that lymphatic
5:41
tissue this vibration helps similar to
5:43
like what a vibration plate would like a
5:45
power plate for example and I'll put a
5:46
link to them below uh or a Vibe play
5:49
something like that the you know
5:50
platform that you stand on this is doing
5:52
the same thing it's just remote and it's
5:53
more localized but it's also a lot
5:54
cheaper it's 150 bucks compared to a
5:56
couple Grand and you know they're both
5:58
nice to have obviously but this is just
6:00
nice to have for those topical or not
6:02
topical but um you know specific points
6:05
on your body so this is really good for
6:07
lymphatic circulation or lymphatic
6:09
drainage circulation Muscle Recovery
6:12
muscle fatigue pain tension tightness
6:15
and these types of things I personally
6:17
love digging it into my deltoids and
6:19
chest uh just because it's so accessible
6:22
and I mean that's what I'm doing right
6:23
now but I'll also put it kind of on my
6:25
biceps as well um and triceps I mean you
6:28
can use it anywhere that's what's so
6:29
nice about it I'll even believe it or
6:31
not I'll stick it into my stomach and
6:33
I'll kind of press it into my belly and
6:34
I feel like it's good for my gut and my
6:36
digestive system because it's just
6:38
there's something called gut motility uh
6:41
there's also something called sperm
6:42
motility if you're a man but motility is
6:44
essentially the movement and uh the the
6:47
sort of just shaking of something and
6:49
that's what vibration plates do as well
6:51
so I love vibration plates I love
6:53
massage guns and uh this is you know
6:56
like I said it's 149 bucks the three
6:57
attachments three power modes it charges
7:00
with your Android phone cord uh it's the
7:03
cheapest model but uh it works
7:05
incredibly well and you know if you want
7:07
higher settings you can get a bigger
7:09
model um so that's pretty much it it's
7:12
an incredible product it's going to help
7:13
with your recovery your circulation the
7:15
tightness in your body you're just going
7:16
to feel more loose and more mobile and
7:19
more flexible and I have this Theory
7:21
this is just a theory of mine I don't
7:22
know if it's true but I have this theory
7:25
that if I put it on my chest and I go ah
7:29
uh you know if you hum it enhances your
7:32
vagus nerve your vagus nerve being your
7:34
master nerve that runs from your brain
7:35
stem all the way down to your gut it
7:37
regulates brain health cardiovascular
7:39
health digestive health and so much more
7:42
so I have this theory that if I'm
7:43
humming or going ah and I'm already s
7:46
stimulating my vegus nerve but I believe
7:48
that vibration is just enhancing it
7:50
further and I'm getting an even better
7:52
vagus nerve stimulation as I talk or
7:59
um because the Resonance of that Vegas
8:01
nerve is going higher and lower because
8:03
of the vibration so kind of a cool bioh
8:05
