He was... He was... He was... One, two, three... He was a famous trumpet man from out Chicago way
0:18
He had a boogie salve and no one else could play. He was the top man at his craft
0:24
And then his number came up and he was gone with the draft. He's in the army now, a-blowing Reveille
0:31
He is the boogie-woogie-bugle boy of Company B. Da-da-da-da-da. Da-da-da-da-da-da
0:41
Da-da-da-da-da-da. Da-da-da-da-da. And now the company jumps when he plays Reveille. He is the boogie-woogie-bugle boy of Company B
0:55
Yeah! Yeah! absolutely wonderful oh my god come and join us over here ladies and you look sunny you sound amazing honestly that was So who Lottie Yes Who you are Lottie Lottie and Sienna Sienna Amelia
1:14
Amelia. Lovely seeing you. I'm going to be terribly rude and ask how old you are because you're all very young
1:18
I'm 13. 13. 15. 14. Wow. Yeah. And your voice is stunning
1:24
Stunning, stunning, stunning. And what do you feel about singing songs from another era
1:28
We love it. There's something so wholesome and special about the music, the outfits, the costumes
1:34
Everything. We really enjoy it. Yeah, but the thing is, the surprise to us was that we as children
1:40
our parents, our grandparents, would have remembered the war and they would have remembered these songs
1:45
but this has tied on to a new generation today. We love, because we have shared a lot of our music on social media
1:54
We've got millions of views and things, and it's incredible to us
2:00
But I think we love that we can share older music with the younger generation
2:06
but also connect with the older generation. I think it's amazing that we can do that through music
2:09
I think it's definitely important to keep the music alive. So everybody remembers especially in the war the people that fought in the war in the remembrance It very special How did you get together How did all this start For the 80th anniversary of VE Day at Ripon Cathedral
2:25
you know, there was a performance. They needed a trio to sing a few songs
2:29
Our then-singing teacher thought, why not sing a few songs? We got together. We really didn't think much of it
2:35
So you weren't a trio before that? No. It was our first performance, and then Lottie's older sister, Molly
2:40
popped a couple of rehearsal clips on TikTok, and it just blew up straight away
2:45
Overnight, we woke up and I'm getting messages from my friends saying I've got millions of views
2:49
We couldn't believe it. Absolutely brilliant. And what reaction do you get from people on social media
2:55
Because you're so young and obviously I don't do TikTok. Have your TikTok account going well? No. Yeah, it's been like such a positive outcome
3:03
Everyone online has been so supportive, you know, giving us like constructive criticism
3:08
because when we first posted the video, it was like, you know, our outfits, they didn't fit us properly
3:14
they were unironed, and, like, we literally just learnt the choreography. So, yeah, it was... Yeah
3:22
And what about from the older generation Have you performed for any people that sort of like you know there not many of them left now God bless them We love performing in care homes It a really good way to connect with that older generation
3:33
And quite often we can see that performing that music really does bring memories back for them
3:38
And it can get quite emotional, honestly. That's one of our favourite things to do. I can imagine
3:42
To give that music to the people who gave it to us in the first place. Wow. Well, it's interesting here because nothing to do with Peter Mandels
3:50
and nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein, nothing to do with fair dodging today
3:54
just really nice remarks about you three which is nice well done girls
4:00
a lot of people are saying Graeme says how lovely are these three young ladies
4:05
Susie simply says wow and how refreshing so definitely whatever you're bringing
4:12
is something people are looking forward to and welcoming thank you thank you so much
4:18
thank you very much and where can people hear you are you singing anymore and any more? We, you can download and stream our song
4:25
on all major streaming platforms and you can go and follow us on TikTok
4:31
Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. We have accounts on there where we post our music. Yeah
4:35
And I'm sure you'll get a lot of people doing that today
