You may have heard of the feeding of the 5,000, when Jesus fed 5,000 households with the equivalent of a happy meal

Well, in two of the four Gospels, there's also a miracle called the feeding of the 4,000

which is pretty awesome, but still comes in second place. In both miracle stories, Jesus took something small that was offered to him and turned it into something big

A child's lunch, a happy meal, fed four or five thousand families

What these stories tell us is that when we put the little that we have in our lives into God's hands

he can use it for good in more ways than we can imagine. We might feel we don't have much to offer the world

But in God's hands, even a little can become a lot and make a difference we could never have imagined
