0:00
this is a monthly recap video for the
0:01
freeze Drive business Channel where we
0:03
cover everything from the videos that
0:04
were produced on this channel as well as
0:07
other freeze drying business industry
0:09
news and information about what is
0:11
upcoming with future content now whether
0:14
you're new or you've been watching my
0:16
videos if you're not a subscriber yet
0:17
hit the Subscribe Bell I'd love for you
0:19
to join this business Community where
0:21
we're all focused on freeze drying and
0:22
helping each other now that the month of
0:24
April 2024 is a close I'd like to go
0:26
over the videos that I produced in case
0:28
you missed out on what came out on this
0:30
channel the first video in April that
0:32
came out on this channel was about
0:34
Automation and packaging where I
0:36
interviewed a company called Eis
0:38
automation based in Las Vegas Nevada now
0:40
I was there in person I met with a sales
0:43
engineer who knows all about the
0:44
packaging and automation side and what
0:46
they do is they focus on the Consulting
0:48
side of someone like you or me who has a
0:51
growing business and needs to figure out
0:54
how to automate their packaging so that
0:56
they can save more time on the labor
0:58
side of packaging their product
1:00
now I thought this was really
1:01
informative and I'm going to explore
1:03
more of this with this company because I
1:05
think there's a lot of value in
1:07
exploring how you can save money
1:09
especially when you're getting into
1:10
higher volume wholesale type business so
1:13
if you're someone in the freeze drying
1:14
space and you are kind of at capacity of
1:17
how much you can output within packaging
1:20
also maybe you're just tired of
1:22
packaging freeze-dried candy and
1:24
freeze-dried fruit whatever you're
1:25
freeze drying well automation can really
1:28
help build that and so so if you want to
1:31
talk to Eis automation then check out
1:33
the link below in the video description
1:35
I'll include a link to that video and
1:37
then you can contact Sam who was the rep
1:39
at Eis and just have a consultative call
1:42
with him it's completely free and
1:44
they'll kind of tell you a little bit
1:45
about what they do the second video that
1:46
I released in April was really exciting
1:48
because I had an exclusive look at the
1:51
brand new commercial freeze dryer that
1:53
Harvest rate freeze dryers came out with
1:55
called the HRC 100 now if you haven't
1:57
checked out that video I've got both
1:59
footage of me being there at their
2:02
facility right in front of the HRC 100
2:05
it's in a full production mode right now
2:07
so you can actually talk to them about
2:08
ordering one for yourself and your
2:10
business now this machine can do upwards
2:12
of 100 lbs of product Which is far
2:14
beyond anything that we have currently
2:16
available today that doesn't cost
2:19
hundreds of thousands of dollars there's
2:21
industrial freeze dryers and other types
2:23
of manufactors of freeze dryers that
2:25
have these type of machines that can do
2:26
100 lb or more but Harvest R is priced
2:30
at under $10,000 they've also added a
2:34
service level agreement that you can add
2:36
to the purchase of your HRC 100 for
2:38
about $3,000 and what that'll include is
2:41
a personalized very dedicated coner
2:43
service contract with them so that you
2:46
get very personalized service with that
2:49
machine now this is a game-changing
2:50
machine the reason I say it is because
2:52
at the price point that they're offering
2:54
for that $10,000 price to be able to do
2:57
upwards of 100 lb of product you're not
2:59
going to be a able to find that anywhere
3:01
right now with freeze dryer
3:03
manufacturers no matter what industry
3:05
you're in and so all the freeze dryer
3:07
manufacturers that currently have the
3:09
capacity of 100 pound or more they're
3:11
going to have to play ketchup mode for a
3:13
while to catch up to what Harvest Right
3:16
is pricing this machine at so if you're
3:17
at the point that you have multiple
3:18
freeze dryers and you're looking to
3:20
scale your business without having to
3:22
have a large footprint for a huge
3:25
industrial siiz freeze dryer but you're
3:27
also looking for something that can do
3:28
maximum capacity man this HRC 100 man
3:31
it's the cost of basically two xl's so
3:34
check out that video it's in the video
3:36
description below and you can talk
3:38
directly with Harvest Right in their
3:40
commercial Harvest Right freeze dryer
3:42
business line uh directly through those
3:44
links now the third video that I
3:45
released was the sixth episode of my
3:47
frozen assets podcast Series where I've
3:50
been focused on interviewing
3:52
entrepreneurs and manufacturers in the
3:54
freeze drying space if you haven't
3:56
checked out my podcast series I've got a
3:58
playlist Below in the video description
4:00
that you can check out the video side of
4:02
things I've also put all the interviews
4:04
via audio through a podcast on Apple as
4:07
well as Spotify so you can actually
4:09
subscribe to there and I would
4:10
appreciate any type of rating or review
4:13
that you have of the podcast I'd really
4:14
appreciate that that would help get more
4:16
and more people to see the episode who I
4:18
interviewed was the CEO of Holland Green
4:20
science and this video was talking to
4:23
Michael who kind of brought over Hall
4:26
and green science to America and then
4:29
started Focus focusing on the Cannabis
4:31
industry for their freeze dryers they've
4:33
got two different types of freeze dryers
4:35
the zeros micros machine can do kind of
4:38
the size of a large Harvest R machine
4:41
right now kind of a little bit more in
4:43
between the XL and the and the large
4:45
Harvest Rite as a comparison it's around
4:48
$6,000 now this machine has been mainly
4:50
used on the Cannabis side and that type
4:53
of product is very delicate so the value
4:56
of that type of machine for food candy
4:59
that type of thing is consistency so you
5:02
can program the dry time the vacuum
5:05
pressure all of that type of recipe
5:08
information into the machine and you can
5:09
get a very consistent product because
5:11
that's what it's designed to do so if
5:13
you're interested in understanding more
5:15
about the Cannabis sign in this
5:16
particular freeze dryer which I think is
5:18
fascinating to learn about go ahead and
5:21
check out the video description below
5:22
and you'll be introduced to Michael the
5:24
CEO of Hall and green science as well as
5:27
their freeze dryers and other topics
5:29
that we covered in that interview now
5:30
the fourth video that was published in
5:32
April was about the Tik Tock ban and I
5:34
covered a little bit about what this
5:36
actual legislature bill was all about
5:39
that Biden signed President Biden of the
5:41
United States and how it could impact
5:44
people who are in not only just the
5:46
freeze drying space but people who are
5:48
selling products via the Tik Tok shop
5:50
now personally for me in my freeze
5:51
drying business I do use social media
5:53
websites including Tik Tok YouTube
5:56
Instagram Facebook to promote my
5:58
products for my business and so any type
6:00
of change in these social media
6:03
platforms either for regulation or their
6:05
own algorithm does have an impact on my
6:07
business and how people are seeing the
6:09
information that I want to push out to
6:11
them because all these platforms are
6:13
free right and so you can use paid ads
6:15
but it's all free to post organic
6:17
content so if you want to learn more
6:18
about the Tik Tok bill I explain it in
6:20
the video as well as I talk about what
6:23
the impact can be on your business and
6:25
what you can do and strategize moving
6:28
forward uh in your business to not rely
6:31
on these types of platforms they're
6:32
great platforms I don't really think Tik
6:34
Tok is going to be banned but when
6:36
something like that happens it makes you
6:38
kind of raise some eyebrows and realize
6:40
that you need to be more reliant on
6:43
things that you can control versus these
6:45
public companies where they can decide
6:47
on a whim uh you know to change their
6:49
algorithm and decide who they want to
6:51
display and who they don't and we know a
6:53
little bit about how that's all been
6:55
acting out uh through the past couple of
6:57
presidential elections uh the United
6:59
States so check out that video if you
7:00
want to learn more if you are interested
7:03
in freeze drying or you have questions
7:05
about how to start a freeze drying
7:06
business I am offering Consulting
7:08
sessions and I want to provide you with
7:10
a highquality call to answer all those
7:12
questions to better equip you to have
7:13
success in your business it's something
7:15
that I wish that was available when I
7:17
started my business and even today I
7:20
really try to connect myself with people
7:22
who are in the industry who know more
7:24
than me so I can learn and adapt and
7:27
grow as a business owner so if you want
7:29
to book a session with me go to freeze
7:31
Drive bus.com it's in the link below in
7:33
the video description and you're going
7:35
to go to the about or the connect pages
7:38
on that website that's my website and
7:40
fill out the form there tell me a little
7:42
bit about your business and we'll
7:44
schedule a session with you I do have a
7:46
small fee for the sessions but I
7:48
guarantee you that you'll be satisfied
7:50
with the time that I'm dedicating to
7:52
learning about your needs helping guide
7:54
you through your freeze drying business
7:56
process all right here's some freeze
7:57
drying news that you may not be aware of
7:59
that are behind the scenes for my
8:01
channel a people I'm talking to in the
8:03
industry that I'm going to be coming out
8:05
with future content about number one is
8:08
I'm actually going to have an interview
8:09
with the owner of blue Alpine freeze
8:12
dryers they're actually based in Eastern
8:14
Idaho and Idaho Fall so I'm really
8:17
fortunate to be close to them I live in
8:19
Boise Idaho which is about 5 hours away
8:21
and I'm going to talk to the owner there
8:24
Corey Merritt and I'm going to talk to
8:26
him about his business how he developed
8:28
it you know what what all their freeze
8:30
dry and their company's all about how
8:31
they set this up apart in the
8:33
marketplace so I'm really excited about
8:35
that particular video and interview
8:36
coming out on my frozen assets podcast
8:38
make sure you subscribe to this channel
8:40
for That interview as well as subscribe
8:42
to Apple podcast and Spotify and you'll
8:44
get the audio version of that interview
8:46
now the other person that I talked to
8:48
and I'm going to be interviewing is
8:49
Donald from Donald's freeze Dryer
8:51
YouTube channel now he's all about more
8:54
the mechanical side of freeze drying he
8:56
does a great job of reviewing all these
8:57
different freeze dryers he's done stay
8:59
Fresh Harvest Right blue Alpine he's got
9:02
a couple other freeze dryer companies
9:04
that he's going to be reviewing as well
9:06
he also has some very unique approaches
9:08
to doing common fixes on these machines
9:11
that can help them run better and so I'm
9:13
going to be interviewing and talking to
9:15
him about how we can all kind of apply
9:18
his mechanical expertise into fixing our
9:22
machines when they break down because
9:23
we're running a business we need to get
9:25
them up and running and maybe some just
9:27
tips and tricks of what he sees
9:29
uh you can apply to your business so
9:31
that you can be more experienced in
9:33
knowing how to fix your machine so I'm
9:34
really excited about that now also
9:36
through the Tik Tok band build that I
9:38
did a video on I uncovered a little bit
9:40
more about Tik Tok and the Tik Tok shop
9:42
so I'm going to be coming out with a
9:43
video about how to run a Tik Tok shop
9:46
especially when it comes to freeze
9:48
drying there's a lot of people that are
9:49
already doing it today they're far more
9:51
experienced than me and I'm going to
9:52
dumb it down so that it's more of the
9:53
dummy guide to setting up a Tik Tok shop
9:56
I'm really excited about that and just
9:58
kind of better equipping you to better
9:59
know one how to set up a shop but also
10:03
how to build other types of mechanisms
10:05
that you can use to grow your customers
10:08
and not be relying on these social media
10:10
channels now through the conversation
10:11
and the research that I did about
10:13
cannabis industry leading up to the call
10:15
with Michael at Hall and green science I
10:17
really found myself drawn to learn more
10:19
about the Cannabis industry now I
10:22
personally don't freeze dry cannabis but
10:24
there's a lot of other manufacturers of
10:26
freeze dryers who are doing it for the
10:27
Cannabis space and I think the
10:29
application the crossover has a lot more
10:33
than what we think of to the food and
10:35
Candy side so I'm going to be exploring
10:37
and I'm connecting with a lot more
10:38
people in that space and future content
10:40
is going to come out and I think you're
10:42
going to be really interested to hear
10:43
about those types of companies and how
10:46
it applies to the business side of food
10:48
and candy so what's new with the Freez
10:50
drying business community space well one
10:53
I want to invite you to join my email
10:55
list if you haven't already go to freeze
10:58
drive.com I have built out the skin of a
11:01
website it does function a little bit
11:03
I'm planning on doing more blog posts
11:05
and more email marketing but I'm trying
11:07
to kind of more build up the structure
11:09
of what type of value I'm going to bring
11:11
you in those emails so if you can do me
11:13
a favor and subscribe to that email list
11:16
I will provide you more information
11:18
about what type of value I'm going to
11:20
provide to email subscribers versus
11:22
those who are watching on YouTube and
11:24
that's just another thing that I'm
11:25
trying to build up is more my email list
11:27
because I don't know what what YouTube's
11:30
going to change in their algorithm or
11:32
Google or whoever is going to be
11:33
watching these types of videos so I'd
11:35
rather be not as relying on YouTube even
11:37
though it's a great space for me to do
11:39
these videos and so email would be a
11:41
great way for me to add more information
11:44
and connect with you in a different way
11:45
hey thanks for watching the April recap
11:47
if you want to watch more Recaps from
11:49
this year of videos that you may have
11:50
missed or other freeze drank videos
11:52
check out the thumbnails coming up next
