How To Add Google Pay To Shopify Store (2024) Full Tutorial

Hey everybody, welcome to this new video to Express

Let's take a look at how we can add our actual, let's say, new payment method called the

Google Pay into your actual Shopify. So the process is actually not that hard

And I must tell you before we continue that sometimes this is only available to specific countries

So if you want to check it out that the eligibility, what you want to do is to open a new tab

And I do love to tap Shopify, Google Pay, Countries, Availability, like this

So it's going to be showing me a new section of the support countries for Shopify payments

And here into the Shopify payments, what we can do is to add Google Pay

So only stores using Shopify payments can use this feature. Refer to this list of supported countries to find out if Shopify payments is available

to you. So Google Pay is actually, let's say, affiliated with the actual Shopify payments in order

to accept that kind of value. So like the most easy way to add a specific payment method is to go directly into your dashboard

And inside your dashboard, you can go into your settings. And inside your settings, you can go directly into the payments

Inside payments, you can see that we have the payment section where we can add, let's

say, for example, a provider. And here in my case, I would love to add my actual Shopify payments just by adding this

one into add payment method. And here we can search for different payment methods in order to continue

Or if you don't know any payment method, you can just look out for a provider and it's

going to be showing you lots and tons of places where you can get started with

This is totally depending of how much, where are you currently based

And to check that out, you can go to store details. I scroll a little bit down and you can check out here the time zone, the unit system, the

default weight, the store currency, which is actually really, really, really important

So if you wanted to check it out more ways to add money and payment method into your

actual Shopify store, do you need it to add like something much more international, for

example, USD dollars, Canadian dollars, pounds and whatever. As you can see, we do have the third party payment providers and into the right part

we have payment method. So as you can see here is like the elements that you can accept into your actual country

For example, since I am only into Mexico City, I'm able to accept American Express, Apple

Pay, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, and that will be it. If you don't see Google Pay, for example, which in my case is GPay, that means that

this one is not available into my actual country. So what I wanted to do is to check it out the actual Shopify

Once again, I'm going to go into supported countries of Shopify payment

And as you can see, we have all of this information enabled

So if you are not into this list, what I can totally suggest to you is to try to add

an alternative method. So maybe you can add Google Payments, but maybe you can just add something else instead

For example, for example, you can add Stripe, you can add PayPal, you can add MercadoLibre

that totally depends on where you your country is actually at. As you can see, I am already into a new store that is currently available into the United States

So if I go into my settings and my payment, once again, you should see that now I am able

to add the Shopify payments. This is once again, depending on where is the country you're currently at

So whether you might have this enabled or not. So if I hit now to activate my Shopify payments, I needed to add the first name, the last name

address, my apartment, the city, all of that, and hit into next

This is only for the register of the business. And as you can see, once you have upgraded your Shopify payments, you can enable Gpay

Google Pay, even MetaPay, Apple Pay, ShopPay, and much more. So as you can see, it actually wasn't that hard to add the Shopify payments

Once again, you can check it out the eligibility of your actual country. If it's not, you can check for additional payment method

So you'd have to worry about only Google Pay. So with that being said, we have now reached the very end of the video, guys
