How to Add HTML Code to Shopify (2024) Step by Step Tutorial

Alright, so let's add a HTML file into our Shopify store

The first thing you want to do is to have of course the store already enabled here into Shopify

So I don't want to focus here into all the stuff here as you can see I have

just created here my first store, into the DOM. So what I want to

do is to locate the actual edit code. And here into edit code what you can do is to hit

into choose a file to start editing. So here what I want to do

is to focus into a page, for example you have different sections

we do have, I'm going to scroll a little bit down, we have snippets, configuration, assets

locales, and here we have different layouts. So for example here I'm going to add a new template. Let's say I want to add

a blog or let's say like a page. And here is the file name. So I'm going to type introduction

I'm going to hit into done. And there we go. So here is my page introduction. So as you can see we do have different

options here to copy and paste my information. As you can see I have an HTML

code generated by the OpenAI. So this code is going to be helping me to add an introduction of a clothing store. So what I want to do

is to type the copy and paste. So here is the format of an HTML file

So there we go. I'm going to hit into save. So whether you want to make the code to change from one actual code from another

one, or what you can do is to just go into this

part, file does not have any version, I'm going to hit in here

I'm going to copy this code, I'm going to paste that in here and let's see

if this one now is available for my actual store. If it's

still is not working, what I can suggest to you guys is to go

into the very first part, I'm going to go into the exit, I'm going to hit into

customize, or you can go here into your actual pages so here as you can see I have the one showing page, I'm going to add

something new, I'm going to hit into add page, so here I have the

introduction, and here in the content I want to enable this show HTML. So this

is the editor that I want to scroll up, I'm going to copy

this code and I'm going to paste that in here. If I hit into save

there we go. So now what I want to do is to actually go into the very first part

so now that this one has been already visible I can go back here, I can go into the navigation

and I want to make sure that here into the main menu

like this is added the menu that we just created before so that would be the pages

and here I want to look out for the introduction, so if you don't see that

you can just look for that here into the search part, or hit into the home

page, like that, or here into the blog post, it totally depends on you

guys, but in my case I think I'm going to stick around with blogs, and hit into news

so with that being said, I can go back into the main menu, and this is my
