Fiverr Vs Upwork (2024) Which is Better For Freelancers (1)

or if you want to see which one fits for you the best. Speaking about

Fiverr or Offwork you are actually in the right place. I mean I'm not going to be telling you which one is better, I'm just going to be telling you

from my point of view, what do I think about both applications and from that I think you might be getting just like a quick

idea of which one you should choose. Now, first of all in order to start, I mean before we start I should tell you

that if you have an account here into Fiverr and into Offwork it's not

it's not different, it's not let's say for example like something bad

that you have to account working as a freelancer. If you want to have both

applications it's totally good. If you want to work only into one application it's totally good

But I must say to you guys if you want to work

as a freelancer like a very very full time you have to focus only into

one, only into one website because you might be starting like just like to for example use

one gig a month but then later you might be getting one or two gigs per week and depending on how you get

more reviews and more of that you might be receiving more orders and orders and orders and you don't want to

be really delayed in your work, you don't want to just send your works just because they

do need to send to you and they already hired to you so

you might be getting just less ratings or more ratings with a very bad

bad reviews so you don't want to just involve into that. So speaking about like, I'm gonna tell you something really quick about Fiverr

If you want to work like this is your first job, this is the first time you are

here into Fiverr, this is the first time you want to work

as a freelancer. Here into Fiverr actually sorry you can do two things and the first thing that you can do is to create

your profile and to create your own gigs and you don't have to just try to chase

someone that can hire you. So if you do know what you are doing if you want to

work within a specific niche I believe Fiverr can be really accessible for you. Let me explain this really really quick

So if I go into the switch to buy like if I was a client

and I want to look for let's say for example I want to look for someone that

can help me with some printable artwork. What's going to happen here is going to be appearing just

only three services available. I will convert your images or artwork to

printable format. I will create unique artwork for the printable products. I will create a printable artwork

that suits your taste. So what I want to do is look for a category that it has just less amount of

I don't want to have a lot of competitions here. I'd want to

actually look for something that has not been created yet. So let's say for example if I wanted to look for something for

artwork I have 6 000 services available but if I look for let's say

music artwork is going to be appearing only 1000 services available and there are a lot of people

who are available for creating some artworks. And lastly let me just try to be a little bit more specific

Here into music artwork I want to look for IndiePub and I'm going to get into enter. So instead of 1000

services I only have 42 services available. I will design original album covers. I will create extracts, lo-fi albums. I will

create cover artworks. As you can see nobody has a IndiePub word into the keyword. So what I can do is to create a gig using this keyword

and I might be having more chances to get hired if I use a specific keyword. And this is what

I loved about Fiverr. If I go into my business I can go into my gigs

and I can upload specific gigs here into my account. So as you can see I do have here specific

I'm gonna hit into 14 days. I do have specific gigs about

custom banners, a background only for Twitch, a professional landing page only for Link3

a logo style but minimalistic and that's the way that I want

to actually work here into Fiverr. Now if you don't want to be

more specific then we want to go into artwork. Now here into artwork

go into find your work and I want to go into search for a job

and here into IndiePub music artwork. Right so here I do have to use... I actually

nobody wants to... nobody needs an IndiePub music artwork at the moment

Well let's say that I want to look for music artwork only. They are looking for

a graphic designer for an album cover art. So this is something that I might be

really interested into. I think this is just a specific job. What

I love about artwork is that in here you can build for example the expert experience level that they need. If you are

not so good in this field you can input intermediate and if you want to be hired by someone that has already

sent the money into the platform so you have more chances to get paid and this

is not a scam, choose the payment verified option and here I might be having more people already verified. So as you can see I

have five ratings, this one does not have ratings, five ratings so I can get more chances to get hired by people who are really

trusted here into artwork. So here this is the main difference about artwork and Fiverr. Here into artwork you

need to find the job and here into the Fiverr actually the job finds you. So actually that's

something that you might be willing to... this is like a very very huge difference. But speaking about the

contact, the way that you can contact the persons, the client, the client can

contact you and say like hey I do have like a question here into your gigs, can you make me like for example four custom banners

or can you make me like a fixed price because I love to work with you but I don't have like the full budget for that

and here into artwork you are the freelancer, you need to contact the

client and the client decides if you want to if they want to actually like create something like

I don't know maybe like a video conference or something like that. I can add some certifications, I can add some medication, I can add skills

linked accounts, language description but I don't have I don't have like a lot of options to say to prove

that I am actually right for the job. So what I want to do is to actually

let's say for example I do want to find something for the artwork

because here into artwork I can verify my account, I can add so much more things here to find my work. I'm going to go into my

profile and here into my profile I can add more things speaking about the work history. This is portfolio, speaking about the

Fiverr, if you want to add something into a portfolio there's actually no portfolio but if you want to add let's say for

example I work into this project you need to upload those projects into a gig. So that's the only way that you can

add your stuff here into Fiverr. I mean I don't want to say, I mean I would like

to say that I've worked with a lot of filmmakers and as a maybe assistant director but the only way that I can input that

here into Fiverr is to go into create a new gig and

offer that service as an assistant director. So I think it's like not the most accurate way to do that

and here into artwork you can actually add a portfolio. You can add a music video, another music video, so

once again it's really really simple but what Fiverr does have is the enroll section where you can we can add

batches. So let's say that we are willing to work with creative designs or minimalistic logos. If I have

a batch that can help me to prove that I'm actually really good at what I'm

doing, having the batch here into Fiverr is going to be helping me to have more professionalism

here into the application. So I do work with both applications that's what I'm telling you guys if you are just

starting it's like really useful to have both Fiverr and Upwork applications already created

and from there if you have like more popularity here into Fiverr then just

stick into Fiverr. If you are with more popularity here into Upwork

stick into Upwork although here into Fiverr you can get like different gigs from different contexts

but here into Upwork you might be having more chances to get hired with a

full-time job. I mean your freelancer projects can easily evolve into a full-time job here into Upwork

To Fiverr I believe the chances to have that opportunity really not that high. So that's like the thing that I can give you

about these two applications. So I cannot tell you which one is better

I think if you want to just start from scratch you can go into Fiverr and then if you have like one or two gigs

try into Upwork and try which one fits for you the best depending on what kind
