Jod form tutorial for beginners
0:02
2023 step by step. Hello, everyone. Welcome back to another video. In this video, we're going to be talking about Jodform
0:10
And in this video, I'll be trying to portraying, you know, different powerful forms that you can create using this amazing Jod form platform
0:18
So without wasting any more of your time, let's get started. So as you can see, this is the Jod form platform
0:23
and it looks like the main interface of everything. And you can use this incredible platform
0:30
to use any of the features you want to get done on
0:34
And powerful forums can get it done. You know, they believe the right form makes all the difference
0:38
So go from busy work to less work with powerful forums that, you know, use conditional logic
0:44
accept payments, generate reports, and automate workflows. So to start things up, basically, you can sign up with your Google, sign up with your Facebook
0:53
or sign up with your email. It's totally free. They don't take any money for you. Obviously, there's just different pricings that you can check out for yourself
1:00
You can see their products over here as well, obviously form builder, enterprise, apps, tables, mobile app, etc
1:08
So for now, I'm going to go ahead and click on sign up with email. And once you click on sign up with email, obviously it leads you to the whole sign up form
1:16
And this is exactly something that we're going to be creating later on in the video because this is a sign up form
1:22
But sign up forms are mainly used to, you know, gain subscribers and gain viewers or to gain insight for other people
1:30
that are going to be invited to your platform, okay, to basically gain context
1:35
This is obviously to sign you up with the platform, so there's a bit difference in what this is
1:40
and what we're going to be doing. So obviously, enter your email, and once you do that, agree to their terms and service
1:47
and finally click on sign up. And once you do that, it brings you here
1:51
So it says, help us understand your needs. Head Start your jot form experience with more related content and solution for your business
1:59
you can add in an organization name like i did uh what this in organization what you are i going to go with c ao industry let go with it and technology and I going to go ahead and click to finish Once you click to finish obviously it takes you to
2:14
my forms, which is essentially the main page that we're going to be doing most of the work on
2:19
And here, you know, you have a lot of options to create your first form. So over here, it says
2:26
create your first form. Create a blank form or choose from selected templates to start gathering
2:30
data. Appointment request form, customer satisfaction survey form, feedback form, hoddle booking form
2:38
medical history form. There's different types of form that you can use. Or you can just start
2:43
from scratch if you want to. That totally depends on whatever your taste and work is. So start from
2:50
scratch, use the other features that you're provided. All depends on you. Now, once we've actually
2:58
made sense of that and once we made an understanding of how all that works, what we're going to do
3:04
from there is, let's say I'm going to go for scratch. Okay, you can use a template later on if you
3:11
want to, but I'm going to go with starting from scratch. And once you do starting from scratch
3:17
it gives you two options, classic form and card form. In classic form, you can see show all questions
3:22
on one page. In card form, you can see show single question per page. Now, again, this also depends
3:28
on whatever you want to go with. I'm going to go with the show single
3:33
because I've seen making this from personal experience as well as other people's experiences
3:39
I would much rather go with a card form. Now, here it says Link Your Organization logo
3:45
So obviously you're going to drop a logo, which is going to be used to show what your organization represents
3:51
which is obviously what you can do. Now, I'm going to go with some random logo
3:56
I'm just going to go randomly with a Nike logo, logo just for an example
4:00
Once you do that, click on save. Once you do this, it brings you here
4:04
So drag your first question from the left, and you can start adding form elements from
4:08
the left hand side over here. So these are the basic questions you can ask These are payment questions these are widgets Okay So in this case let go ahead and add a section header And this will give it a title
4:23
Okay, we're going to call it shoe sale. Okay. Type a sub header
4:28
I'm going to go with a setup header like, don't miss out
4:34
Okay. Write that. Now, obviously, when someone clicks on next, they're going to obviously come down over to another page right so this is going to be your welcome page
4:46
and moving on you're going to add some things down here so you're going to ask for the person's full name
4:53
once you ask for the person's full name you're going to ask for their email address okay now once these
5:00
two things are asked i think that should be pretty well off okay you can't ask for other things if you
5:05
want to like address or phone number but a lot of people don't really feel comfortable giving those
5:11
things they're fine with giving their email but address and phone number is not very useful thing
5:15
so you can leave that out if you want to then moving on let's say there's a shoe sale and you don't
5:22
want them to miss out then you can you know add some timer or add a multiple choice question
5:29
or even you know different so let's say i'm going to add some time over here so you can
5:35
ask them that what is your time zone and according to their time zone you can you know give them the
5:43
type of shoe that they get a sale on you know just play a fun little game with them just to gain
5:49
their name and email and you can obviously write these things in descriptions as well so there we go
5:56
then you can add different payment settings as well so you have different payment gateways you have
6:03
Square, PayPal Business, PayPal Personal, Invoicing, Stripe, Brain Tree, PayPal Pro, Apple Pay, Google Pay
6:11
all these different ways that you can pay for yourself. So let's say I'm going to go with PayPal Business, bring it down here
6:17
So here we have PayPal Business and you can ask people to you know pay in either debit credit or their PayPal And you can connect your PayPal differently You have different modes You have different currencies payment types
6:30
So let's say you can sell products, user-defined amount, collect donations. I'm going to go with sell products
6:36
Payment method, you know, show debit or cash, show PayPal, et cetera. Click on continue
6:42
Obviously, you are going to authorize a PayPal account and authenticate using the PayPal
6:47
connect button. And obviously, you're going to connect to a certain. PayPal account from your side
6:52
So just go ahead and connect with your PayPal business account. Okay, don't connect your personal account to the business gateway or the business connect, okay
7:00
And once you're done with all of this, I can go into the forum setting. And form setting is also pretty useful because here is where you're going to basically keep
7:10
names for the form, keep statuses. You can encrypt different form data
7:15
Like, let's say you want to, you know, actually secure the form from any, you could say
7:20
indulgent or, you know, privacy breach. You can do that. Then there's emails, which is basically when an email is added in this
7:30
You can auto respond to them. There's conditions where you can set up conditional logics, which is, you know, in a way
7:36
a type of automation technique, which is also a pretty fun and useful feature, not going to lie
7:42
You can use that for yourself as well, and it's pretty useful. So I would 100% recommend this feature as well
7:49
So once you get the, you know, our process of that, then there's integrations
7:55
And integrations is very useful. Like, trust me, it's extremely useful and you will not regret using this feature because it truly
8:04
helps you, you know, use your jot form much easier. And because it integrates it with different platforms, and I just love that feature about this
8:15
